Store upkeep is subpar and the lines always move slow. There is a small parking lot, but is almost always full. It’s the closest mart to my office, so I go for convenience. That’s about it.

This 7-Eleven is atrocious. Everything about this location is sketchy. I can’t even go in here and grab a pack of gum without panhandlers or scam artists in the store. There is a trash everywhere and the floors are always dirty. The staff doesn’t seem to care at all. I’ve been consistently harassed by solicitors. Last time I checked, there was a no solicitation policy above the door. I think this location should be removed from the community. Don’t waste your time here. It’s very unsafe.

It never really bother me when a panhandlers and group of homeless hang out in front of this store like ALL day long. Seriously ALL day long(work and live nearby) at 7am I grab my coffee until coming home 12midnight when I need to get quick snacks or just felt like getting anything. But recently, these panhandlers are getting aggressive involving blood-on-the-floor, as much as I want to help break fights off, I’m a short girl and even my friends or roommate say to leave it alone. I really hate seeing people getting hurt. This location is worse than the one I grew up on(which is the ghetto, at least there they handle the panhandlers and homeless people, but then again it was the ghetto, so they don’t mess around) Most of the workers are nice except the lady

Typically I don’t like to complain about a business, however in this case I feel it’s warranted. One morning I waded past the homeless into this local 7 – 11 to make a purchase. I ran my card at the register and the cashier handed me a receipt, switched registers and worked on the next customer. On the credit card machine it said«waiting for cashier» but since she handed me the receipt and went to the next customer I assumed I was done, so I left. On the way out I tossed the receipt in the garbage can. A few moments later they call me back and the no-perosnality cashier and I had the following dialog, verbatim… Her, «You didn’t finish paying» Me, «I thought I was done because you handed me the receipt» Her, «I never gave you a receipt» Myself, «You did» Her, «No I did not» Myself, «Do you want me to get it out of the trash and show it to you?» Her, «Ok» Luckily the receipt was high on the trash so I took it to her. Myself, «Here you go» Her…well, she said nothing but went to the next customer, once again. Two days later I swung by and the county had posted a Health Closure for rats! Can’t make this up. I called it karma and marched on. Tonight I was there again, to purchase a water(rat proof) and said to two guys behind the counter… Myself, «So your staff had me digging around a garbage can looking for a receipt the other night, was was that all about?»(I was hoping for a discussion“ Them, nothing. Myself, «Do you understand what I’m saying?» Them, «Have a good night. Okkkkkkk. This place is in fact homeless attracting, has apparent cleanliness issues as the county shut them down PLUSZERO customer service. Rant over, not going back there again.

Dirtiest 7 – 11 yet. Group of homeless outside the store, one laying right by the door with pukes. The cashier was cool though. very efficient servicing customers on 3 registers.

This place is a breeding ground for the homeless and alcoholics. 90% of the time, a homeless man(a rotation of about 3) is standing at the front door. He opens it for you as you enter, and wants money on the way out. I stopped going here for coffee before work, mainly for this reason. I hate being asked for money at 8 in the morning before work, every single day. A few times I have seen a security guard at the door. When this happens, the homeless just collect on the steps out front and loiter there. Last week one guy was showing off his collection of cell phone chargers. The employees always allow the homeless to refill their coffee and slushies for free. This leads to a never ending stream of homeless/drunks coming in to fill up(and is probably why they loiter). A few weeks ago, a homeless woman came in to get free coffee and yelled to the cashier about how the homeless men who sleep on the side of the 7⁄11 pee all over the building when no one else is looking. True story? Who knows. Another time, a drunk man came in and took the employees mop and started showing her how to mop the floor correctly. The employees(2 ladies) are VERY polite and friendly to anyone who is homeless, or anyone they know by name(which is many of the homeless), but never to most else. I say«thank you» every single time, and just get a weak smile or a «yep». It became a fun goal for me to see if I can get them to say«your welcome» at least once. The area around the 7⁄11 is depressing and dirty. The inside is fine, clean and well kept.

Don’t come to this one if you can avoid it. There are several others in the area. This one just happens to be around the corner from my job. Anyway, there are very aggressive pan handlers that hang out there. They like to open the door for you and wait for you to come out. I made the mistake of going to the ATM which is right by the door. They need to move it! Anyway, when I came out one said, «Hi pretty lady». I politely said hello and kept walking. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I had $ 2 for him. I looked at him like he was crazy. One of the others said, «Oh she’s going to get in that Lexus right there» then the other one said, «I know you have money — and I saw you go to the ATM». That’s scary. But I know I had a don’t «F with me» look on my face… lol The management is aware of the problem because they have a sign posted in the store that says something to effect that they like to keep a safe environment, please don’t hand out any change to the people outside. They need to have the police come by and do a sweep. I wouldn’t normally write a Unilocal review for a 7Eleven; but, since I started to Unilocal more, I’m going to be rating a lot of stuff besides food :) …lol

Very dirty on the outside. It’s by some sewer grates that stink and ooze liquid. The staff/cashiers are very rude. They treat you like a criminal. They did seem to know some regulars, which was a little comforting, I suppose. They had a wide selection of snacks and drink, so come here on a late night binge. There is a parking lot right in front of it, but space is limited. You might have to street park.

A 7 eleven that has a doorman… No wait it’s just a guy looking for change. Besides that what else is there really to say about a 7 eleven.

Why would you give any 7-Eleven a 5 star review? In searching to see if this one was already in Unilocal’s database, Unilocal offered these as possibilities: 200 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles: 3 Reviews, all 5 stars! WTH? 630 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica: 3 Reviews, all 5 stars! WTF? 5138 Figueroa st. Los Angeles: 12 Reviews, all 5 stars! R-U-F-K-M? 37-elevens, 18 reviews, all 5 stars? Really? No, Really? What can give them unanimous outstanding reviews? (I haven’t bothered to read them yet, but just sayin’!) — Perhaps the reviewer needed a pre-coital trojan urgently? — They had a reviewer’s favorite beer cold and ready before 2 o’clock? — They drank that 12 pack of beer before writing their review? — Marlboro Reds were on super sale prices? — They still carry Zig Zags? — They bought there winning Lotto ticket there? — The people behind the counter spoke English? I dunno. This 7-Eleven is near K-Town, a little bit south toward South Central, and smaller than most. It is cramped inside and in one of those classic LA strip malls with backed up parking, so it can be cramped outside, too. When I was there, about 11pm one night, a group of lilly white, college aged girls came in, obviously not from the neighborhood. Metaphorically, they went to the freezer and pulled out tubs of ice cream each. Vanilla. Cold. They were from Fresno. Fresno, what the hell are you doing here? Went to USC to watch the Cal Golden Bears — FSU Bulldogs Women’s NCAA basketball tourney. Got their butts beat down. Hell, if they wanted to see the action down in Trojanland, they could have come to this 7-Eleven and bought a few to «play» with! That would«cover» it! Me, not to be outdone and supporting my Cal Bears, I got a Haagan Daz Chocolate and Peanut Butter pint of ice cream! And a 20 oz coke! But no Trojans! I hate Trojans! Go Bears!

We randomly went here, after our Yu Chun feast, to grab snacks and energy drinks to take with us for our study session at school. Is it odd that Target has a bigger candy selection than this 7-Eleven? Anyway, we all left with coffee, Rockstar, ice cream, candy, or whatever other things people who study eat. If you’ve got the munchies, you might just find what you’re looking for here.

I like this 7-Eleven cuz Paris Baguette is next door. There’s always red faced drunk Koreans in here cuz Bleu’s in the same plaza. Too bad Korean cafes don’t do it for me anymore. Weird huh. This 7-Eleven also has automatic door openers! Give them some change and they’re happy.
