Happy hour until 8 is always a plus, especially when the appetizers and cocktails are so good. Duck fat fries and a Painkiller cocktail are the best way to end the day. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

I was with a group, so we ordered about half the menu. Everything was good. The chips with guacamole was incredible. Chips made in-house for sure. Tons of guacamole. The jalapeño flatbread was also incredible, we ordered a second one of these, and then a third. But my personal favorite was the fried chicken sandwich. Good quality chicken, right combination of ingredients. I will be back for all three of those food items. In general, what I look for in a bar. There was a hot bartender, and both bartenders knew what they were doing with mixed drinks. Reasonable prices. Good wine selection. They said they are doing NFL Sunday ticket for football. So I will definitely be back for that.

Happened upon this place while I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in for a beer and some snacks. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their beer selection, with some really solid craft brews to choose from. My food was awesome! As other have said, the duck fat fries were delicious. I was surprised to read other people’s negative comments about the staff. It wasn’t overly-crowded when I was there, but the waiter was top notch — very attentive, refilled glasses as they were getting low, and asked about refills on beers before they hit the bottom. He was super nice and chatted with us a bit. I’m not typically in the neighborhood, but when I am, I’ll be heading back!

We were on our way to Churchill but it was way too crowded so we searched for a bar nearby and were lucky to find 3rd Street Station. Apparently they had been closed for remodeling and recently re-opened. There was ample seating(bar area, tables in the middle, and booth-style seats at both wall), decent-priced strong drinks(special drinks on the board by the bar), tvs, and friendly staff that came often to get our drink orders. We were able to easily fit our group of 7 and had no issues accommodating everyone when a few more friends dropped by. Good strong drinks & friendly staff. overall a nice, chill bar to grab a few drinks and hangout w/friends!

This place is cool, but very overpriced for a normal bar. I am all for a nice place to have a drink, but with paper menus and cheesy banners on the wall I’d say this place is anything but elegant. So paying $ 45 for 4 drinks seems a little annoying to me. I would rather go to somewhere a bit nicer and pay the same amount.

Waited over one hour for a burger and never got it. Hell it even took 45 minutes for a drink. I understand it’s World Cup and you have one cook but if your not prepared you shouldn’t even be open. Your menu has less than 10 items so it should never take over an hour. No one even came to update me or check in. Definitely will never come here again.

Happened to be passing by and had to stop by for a beer when I found out it’s open again. Great location, great people, and such a great place to chill and have a drink. Cheers!

I love coming to 3rd Street Station with a bunch of friends for whatever occasion it may be. Wanna grab a drink? Have a meal? Watch the game that’s on today? Yep, this is my new go-to place. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Prices are great and I find myself spending hours here before I’ve realized it!

I’m from NorCal, but whenever I’m in town, I always come here to hang out with my friends. Everyone who works there are super friendly. The atmosphere is nice and service is top notch. Not to mention excellent wine/beer selections… you will be wowed. LOVE their duck fat fries!

I live in the area and was glad to find this place has opened it’s doors to the public again. I was impressed by the food, the Chicken Melt in particular, and the cornucopia of beers. Friendly staff and great music as well.

Heard about this place while at The Churchill down the street and chatting with a guy who supposedly knows the owner. I got really excited because I’ve been looking forward to the re-opening! In fact, my friends and I planned our whole bar-hopping evening last Friday around stopping by. Unfortunately, for a place that’s only been open(supposedly) for 2 days, I was quite disappointed with the very lackluster and cold welcome to this local. I live in the neighborhood, and I’m always on the lookout for the perfect local bar – somewhere I can kick back and unwind at the end of the work day. Though our bartender was actually quite nice and welcoming(hence, the 2 stars), sadly, the owner/Manager(we assumed that’s what he was) was not quite as welcoming. There’s quite a bit of competition up and down W 3rd nowadays. I don’t think the way our experience this weekend was the way to re-introduce yourself to the neighborhood. :(

I am so excited that 3rd Street Station is back open! This was always my favorite bar in the area and now with the renovation and MORETV’s I am more excited than ever! I went to the bar for the first time since its reopening this past Friday night for a couple drinks with my boyfriend and was able to get a seat no problem. The vibe was chill with an an enjoyable ambiance and the manager was extremely helpful and helped me pick out a wine immediately. It’s great to know that there are restaurants that continually keep pushing the bar with atmosphere, service and hospitality! Looking forward to coming back for dinner since this trip was only for drinks!

I was greatly disappointed with my experience at this bar. The owner/manager was not welcoming. Their drinks were priced the same as the more upscale bars in the neighborhood, yet the ambiance here was lackluster. I would expect more from a bar that just reopened after renovations. There were only a few people there on a Friday night, and I couldn’t wait to move on to some of the classier bars that 3rd street has to offer.

This is a great place to grab a drink/bite with friends, or catch a game on one of the many TVs — they play the commentaries too! — which is hard to find in this neighborhood. It’s very comfortable in there, sexy chic without being too suffocating. Normally, I’m not that into cocktails, but after telling him what I liked, the bartender created this perfectly balanced whiskey drink for me — what a treat! Just a small example of how friendly and knowledgable the staff are! Check it out, especially with their affordable prices, you’ve got nothing to lose!

This place is like a second home to me! It’s also the go-to spot for many service industry employees in the area which says a lot about the quality of the staff. Whether your drink of choice is wine, beer or cocktails, they have an impressive variety to choose from and a great ambience to enjoy it in! If you’re into watching some sports, relaxing with a glass of wine, or having dinner & cocktails with friends, this is the place to go! The owner and the GM are two great guys who strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy some quality food and beverage. I can’t say enough great things, JUSTGO, RELAX&BEHAPPY :)

***sigh*** Soooo disappointed. We had been anxiously waiting for this place to open, and we planned our Friday night so we could check it out. We should have known something was up when we walked in at 10:30PM on a Friday night and there were only a couple of people in the place. Turns out the Manager(And owner??) was snotty and rude. I felt like telling him the days of snobby & condescending bars in that neighborhood are gone. He should take a trip up and down 3rd Street(starting with Mercado) and see how friendly and customer-focused his competition is. As it was, we quickly finished our beers and took our money and business elsewhere.(Note: I would give it only 1 Unilocal star, but the bartender was sweet.)

So i would always pass by this place and never got a chance to check it out until last night. Sadly, our waiter informed us that Black Friday was the last day for the pub. :( The whole staff attended us and were super friendly. We tried the cayenne pepper wings(very good btw!) and their burger both on happy hour for $ 5 each. So sad this place is shutting down, hopefully I get to come by this week to try their brussels sprouts, they look amazing!

Best bistro feel this side of any on the Promenade Des Anglais or old town in Nice, France! The Duck Fries are awesome with the special malt vinegar dipping sauce, and the Hanger Steak and Pork Belly Panini are excellent and one-of-a-kind anywhere! Once again, Mr. Dion Rottman has created a winner.

Nothing to write home about. I ordered the fish and chips and it was basically all batter and a little bit of way overcooked fish. Probably the worst I’ve had. Asked for duck fat fries instead of normal fries and got normal fries. Ugh. Bf ordered the burger and said it was all right, but for $ 13, I would expect something more than«all right.» There are a lot of great restaurants on 3rd, so it’s not worth coming here.

Cool little bar that reminds of me of France. The décor gears towards the train stations in Western Europe. The little touches and the lighting make this place perfect for a relaxing atmosphere with a sip of wine or beer. Plus, free wifi. Happy Hour: 5−7pm, 10-midnight — $ 4 beer — $ 5wine — $ 5 well drinks My picks: Delirium tremers $ 9(smooth) and Laguritas $ 7(initially hoppy, no bitter after taste) They have various events through the week, such as Tuesday’s comedy night. calendar: 3rd Street Station is not the best place for large parties. I would suggest a group of four. Plus, a great casual date or meet up spot. I can’t wait to come back and try their brunch on Sunday’s from 11am-5pm(bottomless mimosa for $ 12). Parking seems difficult here, but you have some big shopping plaza(Beverly Center) next door with plenty of structure parking.
