I live and work in the area around this restaurant. I have my go to sit down Chinese food restaurant but some times you just want some good cheap Chinese food lol. I’ve tried a few places around the area and have been thoroughly disappointed. I’ve passed by this place a gazillion times but some of the reviews kinda kept me away but a few weeks ago I decided to just go for. I was willing to take the chance. yea the ambiance and furniture is whatever but it’s fast food Chinese joint what do you expect! Now to the food. DEEEELISHUS! But seriously it was pretty damn good. I usually get there an hour after they open so the food is pretty fresh and they give you huge portions. anyways to wrap this up I’ve been here at least 2 times a week since I went the the first time. Give em a try.

REVIEWBASEDONEXPERIENCEONLY!!! I was in the area and I ran into this place thanks to Unilocal. The parking is pretty limited and they are all very compact. Once inside the location is just a small fast food spot with an empty counter and a refrigerator filled with drinks that you can serve yourself. We were greeted by a nice lady who was more than willing to help us out but unfortunately she had no food(strike one). The place also seemed kind of dirt and out dated and definitely uninviting(strike two). So my son was told that he could not order teriyaki chicken because it was in put away already. Then she said we could only order family style portions to go. Then when my son asked if he can get a combo made of what was in four to go boxes on the counter. She offered him orange chicken, chow mein, and white rice but mentioned that they stop offering counter options at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. WAIT! No combos after 4:30pm? But it is 6pm lady and you are offering me food out of a box that has been sitting on your counter for an hour and a half. That is definitely strike 3 and you will never see me here again. I understand she was trying to please my son but don’t offer leftovers I would gladly come another time but not after that bad attempt of giving me old food.

The food’s okay for a quick lunchtime meal, but the whole setup looks as if they’re 24 hrs from eviction. If you’re looking to impress a date, this ain’t the place. I’m having just fried rice and kung pao chicken today, and decided to dine in. I ran into two of my new coworkers after I got here, and i’d agree with their assessment that the proximity to the office and the nice portion sizes are the best part. The cashier is friendly. The dining room has a few cheap tables and chairs. Today you’ll also find an appliance dolly, a squeegee on a long stick, the place’s postal mail tacked beneath the menu, the beverage coolers also serving to refrigerate uncooked food, a cane plant leaning toward its death, and boxes and bags of food that might fare better in a storage room. It’s junky. The missing ceiling panel doesn’t help either. I’ll be back, but just because it’s close and cheap.

If I could give it a zero I would. It’s totally disgusting in there. It smelled a little and the floor was dirty. I didn’t even get food. I looked at the dry food that looks like it’s been sitting there for hours and walked right back out. This place is gross

This place is kinda hidden in the back of a plaza. It’s the same plaza with subway and waba grill. I only had the hot & sour soup. It’s my go to when hungover. But, as hungover as I am, this soup is really good here. You can tell it’s made fresh and the mushrooms are fatty pieces! Highly recommend it!

I love this place the owner and the lady is very friendly and sweet to me today I got a whole friend fish with black bean sauce over it with steamed rice for only $ 8.99 and she gave me free cup of hot tea I get to practice my Chinese here with the lady I’ve been coming here for 20 years. Even with change of ownership the new owner has owned this place for 10 years I think. Very good people.

I have read comments about this place before, that’s why we got food from this Place. Otherwise we would even stop there. I was impressed the meal was very much, tasty and cheap.

Massive portions for the price and pretty good too. Just a bit sketchy at first but the people there seem nice enough and you can’t beat the value

Disgusting place. Only 4 things ready. Walked in looked around walked out. Low health rating and unfriendly staff. No thanks!

One time at a comedy show, the comedian made a joke about massage parlors being next to Chinese restaurants so the employees can work at both places at the same time. This place is right next to VIP massage. No joke. It’s not visible from the street either. This is my favorite Chinese fast food place. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. One time I didn’t have cash on me and they didn’t want me to waste $ 3 on the ATM fees so they told me to pay next time. Talk about great customer service! They also have the option of chow fun with the usual fried rice/chow mein. The fried chicken is good. The beef n broccoli have small pieces of ginger and garlic which some other Chinese fast food places skip on. 1st wok you truly are first and I’ll come here over Panda Express anytime. Update– just used the scale at work to weigh a 2 item combo. Comes in at 2lbs!

Nice people, fresh food. Cash only and only 2 vegetarian/vegan entrée options. Combo plates lunch only but aside from that the food is excellent.

The Food is always good here, I’ve been here many times, portion size are nice, prices are reasonable, food is always made to order & hot. The only set back is not everything on the menu is always available. But they have plenty of options so not too much of a big deal. A great place for take out, lady at the front is always nice and very welcoming.

I’ve been looking for a good, convenient Chinese food place that gives generous proportions for a fair price that is close to my home. Thank goodness I finally tried this place and now don’t need to continue looking! Food: Wide selection and great combo options. Everything my husband and I tried was very good and fresh. Portions are generous so I definitely had enough for seconds(and thirds). This is great for sharing as well. Staff: The staff was so friendly! They made sure we understood the menu and were available to answer any questions we had(since this was the first time visiting). Prices: Very fair for the amount of food. Don’t forget to bring cash! Location/Parking: They are hidden in a center with other restaurants and shops. There is a decent amount of available parking. It’s conveniently on Manchester and close to the 405.

Place is around the corner so I decided to give it a try after reading reviews on Unilocal.Had the pork fried rice and egg drop soup. Figured that was a good place to start… was big portions for the price and will be back to try something more adventurous since the basics were great. Service was friendly.

It’s a hole in the wall in the back of the center but I just had some really good«fast food chinese» wonton soup. I was surprised at how much shrimp, wontons and bbq pork they put in the soup. The Chinese lady was friendly and I found it adorable that she would speak a mix of Spanish, English and Chinese to her regular Latin customers and staff. Seemed like most of the customers were regulars. 5 stars because for what it is, they do it well(fast chinese food in the back of the shopping center).

For the same price as Panda Express, you get more quantity and higher quality! The lady can come off as rude at first, but she’s actually very endearing and remembers you(she used to always put extra chili paste in for my order — which, by the way, is made at the store). More than other food items, my review is highly dependent on the SEAFOODWONTONSOUP. I’ve tried wonton soup from so many places before, but this is the definition of comfort food, with very clean tasting broth so you don’t feel nasty after eating. They make their own wonton. I know this to be true because the flour wrap is very thin and the stuffing doesn’t give me indigestion. Store-bought wontons make me burp all day because I’m sensitive to processed ground meat. I no longer work around the area, but when I get sick, my husband drives there to get the soup for me. Still good, and works like a charm to make me feel better.

I have been coming to this place for over 15 years and only for one thing, the house fried rice. You have to order it and wait for it. I promise you, you will not go wrong. And it’s all you need. It has shrimp, beef, snow peas, etc. Delicious! Matter of fact I think am going now.

So I had a hankering for asian food and this was the closest spot near my work. It’s cash only so be forewarned. Despite being fast food, it tastes more authentic than most. Maybe it was because what I see in their steam pots isn’t familiar to me usually. Anyways, they have a pretty flavorful eggplant tofu dish and this shrimp/veggie mix with a unique clear sauce I particularly enjoyed. It’s cheap, friendly, and sort of close. Knockout for me! P. s. The location is in the back so look around. The parking lot is almost always full to the brim and really small. If you drive a large car, beware.

Came here last night around 7. Didn’t have anything out under the steam trays(figure its used mostly for the lunch rush). But I ordered the skrimp chow mein and I LOVED it. Wifey had the chicken chow mein and wasnt too pleased with it .We came to this place cause my co-workers like it. Will I go back? Naw, I know other places way better. But if you’re in the area, why not try and see what you think.

Found this place on my lunch break… recommended by my coworkers. It’s a good take-out spot for lunch. Food is cheap, portion sizes are generous, and the food tastes good. Not the most visually appealing dining room, but don’t let that derail your dining experience! Cash only! Parking could be a pain, as it’s shared with other businesses in the strip mall. Food: 3.5 stars Ambiance: 3 stars
