This guy is the best barbecue in the area! Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had salmon is awesome pulled pork is to die for and his laws amazing as well as his sauces if you have the opportunity to use them as a caterer do so you won’t go wrong

Been coming here since the beginning. Best BBQ around. Brisket and ribs are our family favorite. The pulled pork is very good too.

Great meats, great veggies, great sides. One of our favorites and we plan to use Mike again for our family baby shower. He will work with you on just about anything you’d like which makes the delicious meal feel like it is coming straight from his heart (which it is!). We went with the devil spit chicken (bomb!), ribs and brisket. Sides include Mac and Cheese, spicy and regular slaw, veggies and beans. We can’t wait to enjoy the feast and share it with our friends!

If you’re seeking an awesome meal for catering, or get the chance to enjoy this food at an event you’re in luck. The ribs, pork and especially the macaroni and cheese are downright amazing! I was given the privilege to order three smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving from Zuc and they were not only a hit, but by far the best turkey I have ever had. He cares about the product he puts out and definitely wants to make sure his customers are happy. Thanks for everything!

Great place for authentic and flavorful BBQ. The meat is so tender and delicious. Fun place for big get-​togethers. Catering service is top notch.

WOW, where do I begin?
A short while ago I was food shopping for a Dinner Event to be held for our Veterans at the Menlo Park VA.
I saw a store employee talking to a customer and I politely interrupted to ask a quickie question… then the CUSTOMER proceeded to answer my question and when I told that I was cooking for Veterans, he lit up like a Christmas tree and proceeded to lead me around the store, showing me the best ingredients to use for my recipe!
It turned out that this Good Samaritan was a gentle giant named Zuc of Zuc’s Frontyard Barbeque.
We exchanged business cards and I felt like I had met one of the most kindest hearts ever! (and very patriotic too!)
I got a phone call a few weeks ago and it was Zuc!
He told me that he wanted to do a Dinner for our Veterans of the Menlo Park PTSD Recovery Program, which is where I volunteer. I was OVERJOYED!!!
This is an AMAZING Veterans Hospital, but the Chow Hall’s food is less than desirable, so I knew that whatever Zuc cooked for our Veterans would be a BLESSING!
So on Sept 21, Zuc showed up at the VA welcome Center with a gargantuan BBQ and a Crew of about 15 of the NICEST people EVER!!!
I was overwhelmed & happy beyond description when I saw the FEAST that Zuc cooked to feed over 65 people!
Zuc provided BBQ Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Ribs and then Chili Beans, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Macaroni & Cheese, Rolls, Salad, Sweet Tea and Lemonade!
I cannot even began to express how DELICIOUS it all was!!!
All of the BBQ Meat was AMAZING!!!
The Chili Beans were off-​the-​charts, Slaw was spicy-​delicious, the Potato Salad was scrumptious and the Macaroni & Cheese… well I’m not sure if Zuc made it or if GOD Himself sent it straight from Heaven, because that Mac & Cheese was HEAVENLY!
In fact, all the food was Heavenly, to tell you the truth!
The only thing that exceeded the excellence of Zuc’s BBQ cuisine, was the kindness, generosity and support that Zuc, his wife and amazing Crew gave to our precious Veterans! WHAT a morale booster!!!
Our Veterans and the VA staff were so extremely beyond description appreciative of all the hard work and good cooking that Zuc and his crew did.
I highly and 100% recommend ZUC’s Frontyard BBQ for ANY occasion!
Zuc’s food is top-​notch, he is 1^st class professional and he’s just the nicest guy you will ever meet!

So you know it’s Zuc’s.
The SFIAC (SF Italian Athletic Club) held their annual bocce ball tournament at The Marin Bocce Federation in San Rafael last Sunday.
I knew there would be coffee & donuts, plenty of booze, & that lunch was included. But I didn’t know who was catering the lunch.
Until I saw the gargantuan grill out front at 9:00 am.
While we were busy w the competition, Zuc’s was working hard preparing to feed all 150 of us.
The goods…
Brisket.
Chicken.
Sausages.
Hot dogs.
W mac & cheese, beans, & salad for sides.
The brisket was outstanding. Über tender, smoky, & delicious.
But it shared star status w the hot dogs. The hot dogs were full of flavor & juicy. So, so good.
I think they should sell these dogs at AT&T Park.
That’s how good they were.
Next billing has to go to the mac & cheese. Decadent & creamy, w bits of bacon… it was pretty stellar.
The sausages were overcooked, & the chicken was just okay. It really was all about the brisket & the dogs.
These guys are an impressive operation. They even make an awesome sauce that’s sweet & has heat. Professional & personable, I talked to Zuc briefly about my hearing that they had taken the grill out of state. He told me they’ve taken it as far as Ohio. That’s quite a distance to give the people the barbecue they need. Kudos to Zuc’s for going the extra mile.
We were told there were leftovers, so to go ahead & take some home.
Don’t threaten me w a good time.
Awesome hot dogs the next day for lunch?

I dont know about the food but the customer service is out of this world. We were headed here, couldnt find it, called and found out it was a catering service. Spoke to Zuk and he was a super nice guy!

Zuc created a wonderful back yard feast for our 20+ guests this past Sunday! Everyone was amazed by how wonderful the food was – best bbq in Los Altos! Amazing ribs, hearty mac’n’cheese and coleslaw with just the right amount of kick! Thanks~Rachel B.

Zuc and his team hosted lunch for our work team at Hewlett Packard today. Working with Zuc & Shelli prior to our event was easy. Their communication was great. Their menu options are plentiful. In addition to making the carnivores happy, they were able to satisfy the needs of our vegetarians, vegans and gluten free people. Their grilled portobello mushrooms were simply divine. Oh, and the mac & cheese with bacon = YUM! So glad their were leftovers for me to bring home! Give them a try, I’m sure you’ll agree!

He has done a couple events for Redwood City and must say very good quality BBQ. Plenty of food at a great price. The people working/​serving were very friendly.

Zuc recently catered Cumberland Elementary School’s 38^th Annual Walkathon and the food was AWESOME! Not only is Zuc a joy to work with but his staff was professional and fun. The pulled pork and tri-​tip had so many compliments from the Cumberland community. The kids (and adults including myself!) loved the Mac N Cheese. I never though that Mac N Cheese could taste this amazing.
I can’t thank you enough Zuc! With you managing the food, I could worry about managing the rest of the event!

Had pulled pork and beef tri tip. Absolutely amazing!!! I will definitely hire this guy at some point in time.

Has some of the best bbq in California. Doesn’t matter what you think you don’t like from other spots, try it from Zuc ‘s and it’ll be your new favorite

I wasn’t sure what i liked better– the ribs or the brisket– until i tried the pulled pork sandwich… OFF THE HOOK PIG SANDWICH!!! I cannot reccommend Zuc’s enough– do yourself a favor and just try it!

Zuc is awesome and so is his food. Zuc’s and his crew catered our rehearsal dinner for 45 guests in my backyard. Prior to booking with Zuc he invited my now husband and I to his house to try the BBQ. He is so chill, friendly and welcoming and he makes the best BBQ I have ever had. Our wedding was a true home grown effort (it was in our backyard) and during the day on Friday Zuc even helped our wedding party build the wedding arch while he was tending the BBQ. Seriously, his generosity is unreal. Also, his prices are insanely reasonable. At the rehearsal we had chicken, baby back ribs, pulled pork and portobello mushrooms with cheese for the vegetarians. His food is unreal and we had an insane amount of leftovers. Check out his Facebook page for ordering as you can pick up a rack of ribs from him in addition to booking him for catering. Zuc, we can’t thank you enough!

Zuc is an incredible grill master. His brisket, ribs and pulled pork were perfect. The meat was moist with a nice touch of smoke and a super tasty bark. My guests are still talking about it. The potato salad and Jack Daniels slaw? Perfect. Everyone is ready for another Zuc extravaganza. The food is great but so is Zuc and his BBQ Team. They are committed to excellent customer service. They are professional, polite and serious about BBQ. I think they may have left the space cleaner than they found it. It was amazing. Give Zuc a call. His BBQ is sure to please.
