It’s alright living here. It’s very peaceful. I grew up here, so every thing’s pretty much the norm. Characteristics worth mentioning about Los Altos Hills: Wide open spaces Rabbits are outnumbering humans Deers everywhere Horse manure on every trail(we are required to pick up after our dogs, why not horses. «Rural characteristics,» right?) Tons of eucalyptus trees waiting to fall on powers lines to start fires Always some house being built Bicyclists all over the roads on weekends from God knows where(you certainly never see that many people around) Bizarre noises in the night(sometimes it’s like a wild animal being slaughtered or tons of children screaming to their deaths) The West Wind Barn The civic center that the town has spent a ridiculous amount of money on(the center could probably have been built with half the amount of money and the rest could probably have gone to better use) Ridiculous subdivisions on properties that totally don’t make sense just to turn a profit(screw maintaining«rural characteristics,» we might as well just build tract homes) The city council(pretty crafty when interpreting municipal codes to cater to their personal political agenda, won’t lift a finger to fix anything unless someone gets seriously hurt or dies. Politics is power in this lovely town) And the list goes on… Overall, an alright place to live if you just stay in your home.

A beautiful sweet place to live but not as connected socially as Los Altos.

Haiku About Los Altos Hills Please refer to my Unilocal review of Los Altos The only difference? No sidewalks And even less white people.
