I was happiest when Madhu did my brows under the supervision of Rima, the previous owner of this beauty salon. Then Madhu left and I had another great stylist(Guri, I think?) Now she’s no where to be found and the last time I had my brows threaded, the new stylist(name unknown) nearly scalped me alive! I arrived home to find thread burn on one of my eyebrows, which I never had thought possible! It was very painful and took several days to scab over. I still have a bit of a scar in that area. :-(At the time of the scalping, the stylist claimed that I «shouldn’t pluck» my eyebrows in between because it results in in-growns, which she had«a hard time getting out…» Unbelievable! I have never had a problem with in-growns on my brows… what was she talking about? Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here again, and now I’ll have to search for a better threader elsewhere further away from home! :-( Also, I nearly forgot to mention that the price used to be $ 8, then it went up to $ 10, then $ 12 under the new ownership. Now it’s back down to $ 10. I was happiest when the price was only $ 8. Not only that, but I had a Rima card and the new bar claimed that it would take it into consideration the next time I went there. Upon presentation of my Rima card the last time I was there, I was told by the stylist to bring it around the next time… Don’t think there will be one, so boo! for me! :-(

This was my go to place for threading. Unfortunately I went yesterday and it has a new name and charges $ 4 more for eyebrows.(total $ 12… Use to be $ 8) I don’t want to, but I am going to look around for other salons that are less expensive with the new price increase.

I love this place. I have only got my eyebrows done there, but no matter who has done them there they have turned out great. I don’t have to worry if «my girl» is there or not, because they are all great. A must try. Good parking and is a very cute shopping center with other must haves. :)

Rima Threading is AMAZING! I’ve been coming to here for years now, and I recently got my mendhi, hair and make-up done for my engagement party. Hair and make-up was flawless and didn’t get messed up throughout the night. I can’t rave enough about it; everyone, especially myself, loved it! I highly recommend coming here and I’m sure to use Rima for my wedding. 5 stars all the way!!!

I’ve been to Rima’s salon three times now. Once for a Brazilian Keratin treatment, once for threading, and once for a haircut and hair dye. I LOVE Rima! Her salon is so cute and trendy and she’s such a nice person! She worked really hard on my hair and carefully explained to me the differences between the Brazilian keratin treatment and the brazilian blowout. She made my hair look and feel beautiful and I love her for that! She helped me decide what color highlights would suit my face and I loved what she recommended– it looked amazing! The haircut she gave me was fantastic as well – It was exactly what I wanted– layers and side bangs. I had messed up my eyebrows when I tried to wax them myself and I pleaded her help to please fix them and she did such a great job that I could barely tell I had messed them up myself in the first place! I definitely recommend this salon to everyone– she does such a great job with everything she does! Thanks Rima!!!

I have gone to Rima’s for haircuts, hair coloring, brazilian blowouts, and eyebrow threading and I have always been extremely satisfied every time! The results have been awesome and I highly recommend coming to this salon. The prices are very good too. I love this salon!

Meh… I went here on pure recommendation from a friend and let me tell u their opinion is now shot because of this place! I needed a eyebrow fix fast, from overplucking and over shaping I managed to make a mockery out of myself so I needed someone to help shape em up again. When I first sat down I told the girl my situation, and that I knew I had to grow out some spots but I didn’t want them thin. She said«I might have to thin them out a little but not much», I was hesitant and I should have told her no, but sadly I obliged. As she finished up, I sat there listening to her frustration when she said«your eyebrows, ya I don’t know what to do». She gave me a mirror and Yikes!!! I had two pencil thin lines above my eyes! Eyebrows? No… Lines. yes!!! Omg! I was mortified !!! First off she didn’t take my request into consideration, second I told her if I needed to grow out spots I would. She didn’t suggest that once! Third of all I didn’t appreciate her blaming my «uneven» eyebrows for her lack of expertise. Needless to say I won’t be going here again!!!

I was one of Rima’s original client’s when she was working for another company. She used to just thread my eyebrows there. However, since she opened up her salon, she has been able to utilize her skills as a hairdresser as well! She does a great job with my hair and eyebrows every time I come in! I have since moved out of state, however, whenever I’m in the area I always make sure to stop by to get my hair and eyebrows done!

I have been going to Rima for over 7 years ! She is amazing! The girls in the salon are just as amazing! Every time i come in, I feel welcome and comfortable! I get my eyebrows done regularly and they are always as perfect as can be! I also get my hair done with Rima and it’s my favorite place to get it done :) I always, always, always get compliments on my hair and brows… especially brows!!! I do/would recommend Rima and her staff to everyone!!!

Moved to the area 2 years ago and needed to find a place that did eyebrow threading. I came across Reema and have been coming here ever since. Madhuri is great! She definitely gets my eyebrows right everytime. And the price $ 8 for brows, $ 6 lip. You can’t beat that!

I have to give Rima two stars for threading, because while I’ve never had bad brows from them, the wait can be interminably long. My mom and I called ahead on a Sunday, and she said«come on over.» We were there in about 10 minutes, only to find she’d started on a waxing client. She kept coming out and saying«5 minutes, 5 minutes…» but after 30 minutes we finally gave up and left. Lesson learned — don’t just call ahead, give your name and make an appointment. This is about the third or fourth time this has happened to me.

Poisonous Promo After holding onto a promotional package for a few months I FINALLY decided to make a long awaited appointment to get a «designer hair cut.» The staff was very nice but it doesn’t make up for the most uneven cut I’ve ever received to date! I honestly don’t like to post negative things about nice people but I was 110% unhappy at the end of it all. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment for the girl that eventually did my hair, I was finally seated to get my hair done. I showed her a picture and then we were off. She just took a glimpse at the picture once and never asked me anymore questions. I even mentioned the picture again & she said, «I’ll look at it when I need to.» Okay, fair enough, I don’t want to bug a «master» at work. During my thirty minute hoopla of a cut, I found that she was a 20 year old girl that had supposedly been to school since she was 16. She’s also worked for two difference hair salons in the past for a little under a year each. The verdict, maybe Rima isn’t the place for me! As for the promo, it would be nice to have an establishment recognize what is written on the card and deliver that and much more! Proper training would be ideal– going through each bullet with the client and talking through it all so that no one feels«ripped off» at the end. Point blank, you want people to keep coming back so why not make sure everyone is on the same page the first time? Having the promo card is the first step to spread awareness about your business– now learn to bump it up a notch, Rima!

I love Rima’s! I started going there because my friend recommended her and now I make an appointment every three weeks! Rima herself makes threading quick and she is very precise. My sister swears by Madu, which I think does a good job too. I used to HATE threading, but now I learned to deal with it for the end result. Waxing takes much longer(plus they still tweeze at the end) and it is more painful! Also, I prefer the shape that threading gives. I would recommend Rima to anyone!

So, I needed to find a place closer to my home to get my eyebrows done. The last place was great, but a bit of a drive just to get my eyebrows looking good. So, with the help of Unilocal,I went on the reviews on Rima’s, and I am happy that I did. My brows look good, she did a great job. Oh, and I love that they have a discount card. 10% of my bill today went on the card. When I go back, I accumulate more on the card and can use it towards future threadings. What a great idea!

I was looking for a new threading place and found this on here. I am still looking because it wasnt the best experience. They were nice in the beginning but I made an appointment but still had to wait. She finally did my eyebrow threading and made them a bit thin — she said for them to grow back and then come back to have them fixed. Then I waited for my bikini wax for a ½ hour and finally just left because they didnt have time until they finished someone’s hair. I dont mind waiting but I made an appointment on purpose. Not going back — and still looking for a new place.

uhhh… HELLO? this is the place to get your eyebrows threaded. mada? i think that’s her name, she’s amazing… and so sweet. she’s done my eyelash extensions and touch up’d for me once. LOVELY they look so great, except when i wanted them to come off, it was a disaster, don’t take off eyelash extensions yourself. she also gave me an eyebrow threading… BESTEYEBROWSINTHEWORLD!!! i lag on going over there because where i live in cerritos, it’s literally a 14 minute drive. i wish she was my neighbor, and i could go over and get em threaded whenever, you know… anyways MADA… i recommend her, she’s amazing. and i’m planning on going… when i’m not feeling so lazy… oh and 8 bucks for a GREAT eyebrow threading… i’m thinking… YES… THANKYOUFORNOTROBBINGMEFORGREATEYEBROWS.

First time getting threading over wax or tweeze. I told Reema and she was very accomadating and friendly. Wonderful experience until it came time to checkout and I «mentioned» the coupon as so described on their website to save an additional $ 2 and she still didn’t discount it. $ 8 same as if I didn’t mention it… interesting experience would do it again but likely not at Reema’s.

Now that I have experienced eyebrow threading, I will never get waxed or plucked again. My eyebrows have never looked so good, even though they have thinned from years of plucking. I will be back next month to get a touch up. Great results

No joke, if tweezers hadn’t been invented, or any other method of eyebrow shaping, I’d be one ugly bitch. I have crazy, hard to keep up with arches. Reema is a quick stop by the office to get my shit tamed. I like threading sooo much better than waxing. Its just more precise, in my opinion. It takes less than 15 minutes, and the price is amazing…8 bucks! Located in a small shopping center on Los Alamitos Blvd, they offer a ton of other services, including facials, waxing, hair extensions, eyelash tinting and extensions, henna, and even brazillian blowouts. Thank you, Reema, for keeping me from looking like a beastly hag.
