This is a solid traditional donut shop. Nothing fancy, just good old-school donuts. I purchased an old-fashioned and a regular frosted doughnut with colorful sprinkles. Both were moist, fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Now if only we knew the true identity of the mysterious Nevin…

The best donuts ever! All of the donuts are delicious but my favorite is the blueberry. They have great customer service and I recommend this place to everyone who loves donuts!

I have been going to Nevins for years. They are the kindest people in town and their coffee and donuts are the best.

Horrible customer service. Rude lady(wife) of owner. Never going back. Would give zero stars if possible.

I came here a couple of years ago, but the service was dismal. I decided to give this place another chance because it was close by and i was too lazy to go anywhere else. The donuts were great as always but the service was impeccable this time around. I will be coming back.

I’ve known about Nevin’s for a while. Never go often but decided to stop by a few days ago. I actually really like the donuts here. They’re on par with some of my local favorites, such as Doughnuttery and Simone’s Donuts. I’ve never had a bad experience with service, but it’s a donut shop… what can u expect.

For a class project about«online opinions,» my daughter reviewed Unilocal’s page for Nevin’s. We eat donuts about once a year(on Donut Day), but since Nevin’s is across the street from us we felt like we had to come test the reliability of the online reviews that we read for this local establishment. Here’s ours: The donuts were good! Better yet, the lady gave us two extra freebies to go along with her smiling welcome and friendly attitude! Contentment = walking away from Nevin’s with a bag of tasty donuts and a really pleasant human experience in hand. Thank you, Nevin’s! Now back to eating those donuts.

As someone who lives nearby as well as commuting early in the morning, a donut shop is a pretty reliable to deliver the glorious ham and cheese croissant. However, the only thing I don’t like about this place is the older lady that works here, she seems very annoyed and in my opinion treats me very rude, the other people are nice. Honestly I wouldn’t continue going here if the other people weren’t so nice

This donut shop is on par with any other donut shop as far as taste and selections of donuts but the one thing that sets this place apart from the other is the customer service. I usually get the ham & cheese croissant & coffee here. The man that works there is really nice. He is really friendly and always ask if I want more coffee and will offer a free donut once in a while.

Fresh donuts, friendly staff and I am a fan of their cream and strawberry filling pastry. Be aware they only accept cash!

Today I decided to give Nevin’s another try. I usually go to Donut House just up the street. I had stopped coming here about 3 or 4 years ago because there was a LONG black hair mixed in with the frosting on my daughter’s donut. After we got on the freeway(otherwise I would have gone back), she sad«mommy, there’s a hair,» so I pulled, and it just kept going and going. GROSS. Today, there was an extremely rude woman working. We entered, there was no one in front of us, my daughter was selecting her donut. Apparently we weren’t fast enough, so she walked away from us and started helping the guy that came in behind us. Rude. I gave her my cash, and had my hand out for the change. Instead of putting the change in my hand, she slapped it on the counter. No greeting upon entering, or a «thank you» when we left.

Came to this shop to pick up donuts for my grandmother. I have never been treated as rudely as I was today. The donuts are okay but the attitude of the woman behind the bar was horrendous!!! Not sure if I will be coming back. Too bad…

The donuts were way to expensive. When I asked the owner about the price he said it was the location, sorry this is not Beverly Hills. The donuts were not so elevated that they match the price.

I’m glad I didn’t go to shit-in-the-box next door. Nevin’s had a breakfast croissant and I really liked it. I’ve had donuts here before too and they are awesome. Best donuts in Los Al

The only reason it gets two stars would be for the freshness. Other than that, the cuatomer service that I got today was completely unacceptable!!! The lady that was there was completely rude. Had me waiting about 10 min before she came out. Completely rude a d tried to rush me out of the shop just so that she could get back on the phone. When I told her that I didn’t appreciate the attitude, she rolled her eyes and walked away. It is safe to say, that I shall NOT be returning to this place ever again.

I am still in shock overt the way that I was treated at this place of business. I had my son and a friend and went to get a donut after school. The woman working was extremely impatient with the children. She was doing in the back and didn’t want to wait on us. When my son decided what he wanted she yelled, «Why didn’t he decide before!» I reminded her these are children and then she proceeded to swear. The 7 year olds should not have experienced this and nor should I have as I am a paying costumer who was treated as if our presence here was not desired. I will never return!

I was picking up a mixed dozen of donuts and I wanted the apple fritter. The small male asian(owner?) politely informed me of the higher price. I thought about it for a few seconds and politely declined. As he rung me up, I found that he had placed it in a separate bag waiting for me! Instant 5 stars for a donut store that is willing to do nice/small things for their customer!

Why pay $ 3 at Jack in the Box just across the street for an poor excuse of a breakfast croissant when you can come to Nevin and get a GIANT croissant stuffed with egg, cheese, turkey, and bacon, freshly made that morning, for just about the same price? It is true that the joint is small and the service can be a little slow since they are a true mom-and-pop shop, but these friendly folks and their yummy treats keep us coming back. Did I mention the kick-ass breakfast croissants? They can run out of stuff so you’d better get there early. :)

These are donut’s you can be proud of. I am recently retired, but have been in many donut pools through my working days, and many a donut catered office meeting. I would put the quality and taste of these donuts against any I have eaten. They may not have my first choice, but whatever I get here can become my first choice. The current owner, or baker, is proud of his work and is very pleasant. The place is closed when the crowd slacks off, and tho they are not open 24 hr. you will find them open when you really need them. Right now I think I need to go there to see if they are open, just have to do it.

This is my favorite donut place around. It is really small and there is only about three or four tables inside, but the donuts are amazing. They have the best old fashion and if you get it with the chocolate it is even better. The other donuts they serve are also good and in my opinion a little better than other places around the area. I haven’t tried anything else aside from their donuts and drinks that are in a can or bottle already so that is all I can cover. The service is friendly and they aren’t rude to you if you are getting a dozen and can’t think of two more. Note: I am basing that on personal experience. The only downside to this place is like any other donut shop, they run out. If you are looking for a particular one that isn’t a common one then you need to get there early. I mean they will have plenty of glaze, sugar, and and the cake ones, but for certain ones like the old fashion I mentioned earlier they only make so many and they are bound to run out. Also regarding their hours, I am not sure what time they are open to. Most donut places close around noonish and I have driven past Nevin’s past three and they are still open.
