I have cancer. When you are told you have cancer you go through a whole range of emotions and it quite frankly scares the crap out of you. There’s nothing good about cancer treatment except that it gets you out of jury duty. Dr. Janis is my oncologist and took time to do thorough testing. When it was confirmed that I had cancer he spent a long time with me explaining what the cancer was, how it is treated, what to expect, and patiently answer all my questions. He is a very knowledgeable and compassionate man. His nursing staff also took the time to answer questions and supply me with more information. I am now a couple months into my treatment and feel that I am in good hands and am very happy with Dr. Janis and confidently give him my seal of approval. Note: June 2013 — My cancer is in remission. I continue to see Dr. Janis and give him my highest praise along with the entire nursing staff. The bottom line is that they care. ************FINALUPDATE**************** It is with a very heavy heart that I learned Dr. Janis passed away in December 2013. He will be dearly missed by his patients, including myself.
