They were fantastic! It is a shame that they are closed. The food was delicious and the staff were great.

CLOSED! I went there for Sunday brunch. Best south of Springfield. And now I hear over leasing. Word has it the leasing company are horrible and that’s why so much space is available to lease. They can’t keep businesses there. Worst town center in Northern VA… ghost town center.

I am a huge fan of italian food and I wasn’t impressed here. The sauce was bland and the food was over priced.

I feel the need to set the record straight here. This place is within walking distance of my place and it’s worth the walk. I like the atmosphere and most definitely the friendly staff. They’re knowledgeable about their menu. It may not be five stars but that’s the reason I’m here. I just want to chill and eat some decent food. That being said, I went to PeV on a Friday night with a friend. Service was super fast and good times were had. No complaints here!

Took our family of six here for a light dinner and loved it. I ordered the rustica pizza and caprese antipasti. It was great. Kids had pizza and spaghetti. You’d have thought the spaghetti was coated in chocolate, given the voracity with which they consumed it. Our primary waitress was just ok, but the other wait staff members were very attentive and on top of things. In the end, they boxed our leftover pizza, which is just one of those little things that show they care(unlike restaurants where they just toss to-go boxes on your table and expect you to do it yourself). Wine list was pretty extensive and reasonable. Only one beer on tap: Sam Adams Summer Ale. I think these days, if you’re only going to have one, it’d better be an IPA. Outdoor seating overlooks some fountains. We’ll be back.

I have used a Pane e Vino many times for my corporate and personal events… either at the restaurant or as a caterer at another location. To be honest, after working with them, I don’t even consider using anyone else anymore because the level of service and quality of food is unbeatable. My latest event, a wine tasting at Laurel Hill for 100+ people was perfection. We had pizza rolls, anti-pasta, bruschetta, caprese salad and more. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about the food! Thank you again Pane E Vino, David And Salvadore for another inspired evening. And seriously… if you are considering an event, use them!

Been here many times. If you don’t have a sense of humor you may not enjoy this place. Food and wine are good and prices are reasonable. Staff has a great sense of humor and I know when I drink I can be pretty obnoxious. Steven is pretty hilarious and can make a night hilarious if you have a sense of humor. The gamberi con pancetta is awesome.

Came here for a farewell lunch for a colleague. I decided to do the lunch buffet for $ 10. Good deal and the food was alright. Definitely a good price point for lunch. Without thinking I left another 20% tip even though an automatic 20% tip was already included for our party(on individual checks). It stings even more because our young waitress wasn’t even that great. Didn’t take away any if our plates or refill water glasses and when the checks came, everyone had their cards ready and she could have collected them all up at once but she processed to process one, return, process another, return, so on and so forth. Who does that? Anyway, food wasn’t bad and not fab, but it’s a decently priced buffet. I won’t write this place off, but certainly not going to go out of my way for it.

A couple critiques: the bread is great, but, stick to the rolls because if you get pizza the triangle shaped are the same as the crust and it gets redundant; also the dipping portions are way to small I like that there’s two options with olives but you can’t really get your bread in there The pizza is really good but I’m more of a fan of the crispier on the edge of burnt crust instead of the chewy crust The chicken with the prosciutto and cheese with the lemon and Rosemary omg a must, I need to learn how to make that: amazing! The gelato is also a must thank you so much for giving a free portion for us Unilocalers :)

First to start they open at 11:00 am for lunch they did not have the buffet ready until 11:17 when I went to get food the plate on buffet table was dirty come to find out all the plates on table were dirty they had to re wash like 60 plates any way the only reason I gave it a 2 star is they did not charge me for my meal the food was not good at all I will definitely not be back so sorry for the bad review but I was disgusted with dirty dishes that you had out for customers to use and the food was not good at all maybe it was an off day who knows

We have been coming to Pane E Vino for years, not on a regular basis but enough that I could provide a small review. This place is located in the Lorton Shopping plaza. It’s a tiny town center with a few other restaurants, some banks, and medical offices. There is ample parking in the back and a few spaces in the middle of the town center. Pane E Vino offers a huge buffet brunch on Sundays, and that includes brick oven pizza, pasta to order, and omelets to orders. We have come for brunch many times and can’t get enough of their brunch, it’s more than you eat for a small price. We came for a carb load dinner just before a 5K/1Miler race. The wife’s nephew loves chicken parma and pasta so this was the perfect choice. They offer a nice basket of hot yeast type rolls. Everyone ordered salads(Caesar and Spinach). The Caesar was more anchovies tasting than I like but I split the order with the wife, so it was ok. I enjoyed a gigantic(I am not kidding) Calzone of my favorite Italian meats. The other half of this monster meal was packed for take-out. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Service was very good. Staff was constantly filling waters, clearing plates and checking on us. The wife and I checked in and they offer a FREE gelato for checking in. The manager came by to confirm and asked us to provide feedback. It’s a very generous portion for a small ask. If you visit, don’t forget to check-in, it will be worth it!

Solid food and great atmosphere. Met the owner Da’vid and learned they are a small, family owned restaurant. Atmosphere was classy and relaxed. It was easy to carry on conversations at our table because it seemed sound didn’t travel very far. The gelato is made in house and was incredible! They have a cool wine bar area. We had baked ziti, steak salad, and the chocolate lava cake. Highly recommended for a date or group dinner.

Been here twice now. Once was just dinner and another for an event. Both times the food has been just alright. I mean it’s good and I never send it back, but it isn’t memorable. It’s moderate fare at a moderate price. The service is good and they carry a great wine list. But again, it’s not something I would go out of my way for or even take out of town guests.

We have gone to pane e vino for years as a close neighborhood spot and have never been disappointed. We went today for brunch with Santa and were blown away by how awesome it was. The food is great. Fresh omelets and waffles to order, a huge buffet, beef and pork roast sliced on the spot, tons of pastries and fresh fruit. The complimentary mimosa with the buffet was a plus. A great deal for $ 20 pp. Also, the staff is so friendly and the family run nature of the business is evident. Everything is done with care. Santa was amazing! My 7 year olds eyes were huge and he was 100% convinced. Quite the feat in this day and time. It was magical and relaxed and will become one of our holiday traditions for sure. Pane e vino is also a great spot for happy hour or just a quick dinner and a glass of wine at the bar. Their specials are always unique and delicious!

Wow! I would give this place 4.5 stars if it was available. We arrived an hour before our 20 year high school reunion to have dinner. The hostess was extremely polite and seated us in the private party room where our event was to take place. It was perfect. I was able to set up a few pictures and also meet our waitresses and bartenders for the evening. They provided excellent customer service, even moving an ornamental barrel to another spot so I could attach balloons to it, providing a line of sight upon entry. They also fetched me a roll of scotch tape so I could tape my balloons together. Once I set up, we sat down to order dinner. I had my mind set on a glass of Riesling, but they were out so our waitress suggested a Chablis instead. She was very knowledgeable of their wine selections. After taking our drink orders, she brought out a basket of rolls with dipping sauces and olives. There was a marinara sauce and olive oil with parmesan cheese. OMG! These rolls were heavenly! I knew they were going to be good just by lifting one of them up. They were probably the heaviest rolls I’ve ever encountered. The bread was hot and it melted in my mouth. The dipping sauces were also good, but the rolls were perfect by themselves. After battling sitting here and eating bread all night, we decided to go ahead and place an order. We started with the bruschetta and gameri con pancetta Affumicato(bacon wrapped shrimp). The balsamic reduction was a perfect touch to the shrimp/pancetta combo. They were both delicious! We ordered the la bufala and barbeque pizzas for our meals, at the suggestion of our waitress. Yeah, we probably had a slice each of the pizza because we were completely full. The cheese on the la bufala pizza was amazing and was a great recommendation. The crust on the pizza reminded me of the rolls. Yum! Our waitress was very attentive at refilling our drinks, boxing up our pizza and checking on us frequently. She knew I was the organizer of the event and brought me a cup of coffee without asking about halfway through. That was quite impressive, especially since I needed it! Our reunion participants were quite loud, so I really liked how the party room was away from others dining in the main area. It allowed us to have a good time. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back for sure.

I feel the need to update yet again. This time yes I will give it five stars! First off, Angie the bartender at the wine bar is awesome sauce! second, David one of the owners once again goes above and beyond to make sure everything is ok and to our liking. I recently had a large catering order and the food was great, everyone complimented on the wonderful food and service was awesome as always. So yeah, this review is to up my stars from four to five! I also really like the atmosphere at the wine bar. Love it! Since I only live two blocks away, this is my go to place. Come join me for a drink! =)

Really don’t agree with negative reviews, every time I’ve came here I’d had a great experience with the food and my company! On the corner of a small shopping strip in Lorton I’ve frequented this place when my family gets sick of Olive Garden, Carrabba’s, etc. The interior has a good feel to it, there’s a big room with a wine wall, a cozy bar with rustic barrels holding the wines, dim lighting restaurant seating, all with the smells of brick oven pizza and Italian spices. All the food I’ve had here has been nothing short from good to delicious. I can never decide whether I want the homemade pasta dishes, the cheesy chicken parm, or opt for one of their signature brick oven pizzas, so I usually get a combination of all of them to split between my party! We usually get the gelato desserts to wash it all down if we aren’t too full! This place may not appease the folks looking for elite Italian food but I’ve always had good food, good vibes, and great company when I went so my experiences here have been pleasing to me!

Been here a couple times for brunch. One complimentary mimosa with brunch buffet purchase. $ 20/person. I think it’s worth it, they have a great selection of breakfast, lunch, and desserts to choose from. Also, don’t forget about the waffle and omelette area where they make it for you! Everything is good and fresh. As for service, we came for brunch buffet so it’s self-serve so I can’t really comment on the full service. But the staff is welcoming and nice. Our empty buffet plates was cleared right away, and coffee was always topped.

I’ve never been here before but on the recommendation of my boss we went ahead and gave this place a try. I have to say I was very impressed. I wanted to try Italian outside of the standard Olive Garden and this was definitely a great place to eat! We had a big group and ordered an array of calzones, subs, salad and pasta. One calzone was enough to feed two people and the side salad with Italian dressing was absolutely delicious! The pasta was okay, I did find it a little too oily for my taste but everything else was great! Love the atmosphere and the friendly waitstaff. I will definitely be coming back to try the Wine bar!
