Stopped in for a late lunch after finding our hotel. Had the specials: New Yorker– Reuben on rye and the Chicken cheese steak. Both were very good. Restrooms were clean. Empanadas came out fresh from oven after we had ordered and looked enticing. Staff was friendly. Appeared to have steady stream of customers.

I give this place one star solely because the staff is friendly… for the most part. I went to this café recently to try their roast beef sandwich, as a friend raved about it. There was a young lady in front of me who ordered what I was going to order. The «cook» had been sitting in the restaurant taking a break and got up to go behind the counter and prepare the sandwich. Needless to say I lost my appetite and just got a drink and a bag of chips. The reason– The «cook» went straight to preparing the sandwich without washing his hands or donning gloves!!! I was appalled!!! How disgusting and unsanitary! I’ve since told many of my colleagues and they don’t go there either.
