I’d stopped by this location several times before joining Unilocal and had great customer experiences. During this occasion, it wasn’t any different. I was greeted with a smile and helped promptly. I ordered one scoop of Splish Splash on a cake cone, «a splish of blue raspberry flavored sherbet and a splash of blueberry flavored sorbet». I liked it a lot. It has a sweet, and sour taste. It was fun to eat:) I will go back for more. As it concerns Unilocal reviews, I asked the server if she was familiar with Unilocal; she wasn’t. Apparently this location is under new ownership and I guess the existing Unilocal account was previously set up. I suggested she find out more about Unilocal and become active on the site. She showed interest and said she would.

Worst customer experience EVER. The guy that works there is so rude. He opens the store 15 minutes late. I come in and say hi, he doesn’t even LOOK AT ME. I ask if he’s okay because he was so rude and out of it… he says he’s tired. The whole experience felt so unwelcoming and awkward… like it was obvious he didn’t want me there. I would ask him a question and he roll his eyes. It’s obvious he feels burned out at his job, but geez, don’t take it out on me!

Ridiculous. There was not a single employee by the ice cream stand when I came into the store, then a worker came out in about a minute. Then she didn’t even ask for help, she just looked at me uncomfortably. I chose world class chocoalte, and I don’t often indulge on ice cream; so I was highly anticipated. Except the ice cream fell way short. The taste? I don’t even remember. I was taken aback by the mushy, half-melted texture that I had to gulp it down fast, which is just sad. Once I took the first bite and came back into the store to complain, she had went back inside and I just thought, forget it.
Maybe it was just bad timing and only that flavor was half-melted. But after tonight’s experience I might even consider driving out to fairfax station/springfield for baskin robbins. Never again, Lorton.

Tasty ice cream but the A/C is broken making this place impossible to be in for anything longer than a few minutes.
