Antonelli’s Pizza

Antonelli’s is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants and it’s not even in my neighborhood! I live in Alexandria and travel the ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes to Lorton every time I get a craving for a cheesesteak. Yes, you read that right — just for a cheesesteak (and fries). It’s that good. I first discovered this spot in college (2008) on my way back from visiting DC — we pulled over for gas, the rest of my friends went to Burger King but I decided to try out this spot. I made the right decision.
I should say that I actually get a chicken cheesesteak, however I have had both the chicken and the steak and they are both great. I have also tried all of the local Alexandria places for cheesesteaks and this is still my favorite place. The bread is good, the chicken is well seasoned and overall the entire sandwich comes together for a really yummy guilty pleasure meal. Don’t forget the fries! They’re crunch and the perfect side to this meal.
It is family owned, which I like. The service is fast, friendly and super affordable. And yes, it’s a pizza place but I’ve never tried the pizza — sorry.

I have been in the DC area for about a month. I have been to Antonelli’s Pizza 5 times already… lol. I live in Lorton, VA, not far from Fort Belvoir. I found Antonelli’s Pizza the first week I moved here. It’s really good and the price isn’t too bad either. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I have had their wings, meatlovers pizza, poppers, and more pizza! As far as mom and pop pizza places go, you will not find a better pizza place. Yes, I love pizza. Try it out when you are close to Lortons. Good stuff.

Love their Monday 1-​topping pizza special for $ 10. The specialty pizzas are totally yum. The calzones are yum. The food comes out quickly. And it’s a mile from my house.

Good food but poor service. I ordered a steak and cheese Stromboli and when I got it delivered it wasn’t what I asked for. The employee blamed me for not ordering correctly, then placed me on with the manager. The manager then went to blame me as well. He said he’d get the correct one out to me but it may take up to 40 minutes. I wanted to eat now and they didn’t want me to keep the food they originally gave me. After about 10 minutes of arguing they let me eat the food they gave me. Blaming the customer is never the answer. Lost my business.

Awesome food and first rate service! We discovered this place after moving to the area and have been customers for 4 years now. They have a great menu selection, scrumptious ranch dressing, and delicious food!

We ended up at this location for two reasons… it is near the Auto Train and had great Unilocal reviews. The reivews are all correct and this place is excellent.
I had a calzone and my friend had a Stromboli… both tasted amazing and cooked perfectly. We told the worker we only had about 45 minutes and he delivered the food in the perfect amout of time. The sauce location and service… all 5 star.

Best wings ever. They are always crispy, never soggy. My family orders them at least once a week. Caesar dressing is also amazing! It’s homemade, so I’ll often order the dressing when we are making Caesar salads at home. This place is great in all aspects, food and customer service!

Only ordered once, but great pizza! Just hope they’re consistent — Representative and delivery guy were very polite and very timely!

Recommend coming here if you want a quick carry out or eat-​in in a traditional mom and pop pizzeria environment.
Ordered a small cheese and jalapeño pizza. Pizza dough was clearly fresh — — not one of those prefab kinds — not too yeasty and a little bit tenacious… Pizza chef also sprinkled oregano over dough before baking…
Tomato sauce very good. Slight garlic taste and slightly sweet. Pizza cooked to perfection.
Service was fast; staff was courteous and friendly.
Value for the dollar quite good!
Would have given it five stars; however, pizzeria is located in a strip mall near interstate with lots of through traffic… parking lot has lots of litter…
Regardless certainly worth checking out!

Pizza itself wasn’t bad but $ 8.50 for small cheese pizza with medium drink is expensive IMO

Antoniellis is located on the end of the black powder strip mall. There is a Asian fusion place next door.
Wham I arrived there was no one in there but the staff. A gentleman was at the counter looking at the computer. A person from the back ended up asking me what I would like to get. He told me that the menus were on the front counter and I could pick one up and seat myself.
I have been following the no meat on Fridays for lent but I ended up getting the chicken cheese steak. The. Hockey cheese steak sub came with marinated chicken grilled onions lettuce and mayo. I thought there were a lot of onions on the sandwich. The onions were a bit overpowering. The person I was with had a eggplant parm with French fries they said there sandwich was very good. For everything price wise 2 subs and fries came to $ 19.95
Overall this is a good spot to grab a quick bite. If I’m in the area again I would consider stopping here again the staff was nice the food was good.

Stoped here for a quick pizza lunch. We ordered a 12 inch New York style pizza with onions. Except for the fact that there were not enough onions, the pizza was excellent & perfect for two people. Next time we are in Lorton we will definitely try

Lady at the front desk is very rude and disrespectful and I will never bring or come to this place again

We really like this place. We have eaten in and taken out. We normally get pizza but the Greek Chicken Salad is amazing!!! They have a great selection of speciality pizzas and pasta dishes but it’s so hard to order something other than what I know is SO GOOD.
I did have the BBQ chicken salad once and it was ok. I wasn’t that big of a fan because the chicken wasn’t breaded and fried.
I don’t know who the large lady is referred to in the other reviews. I’ve only seen men and they’re super nice. They even pronounce my name correctly which never happens.
My only complaint is that they don’t deliver on Fort Belvoir. It’s probably a good thing though. I would be really fat and broke!!!

I’ve never had an issue at Antonelli’s. The staff has always been fine with me. The chicken tender sandwich is one I highly recommend. Try it with the French fries and you won’t be disappointed.

I live around the corner and I ordered from this place a couple of times. My fiancé loves to order the thin crust cheese pizza with extra sauce and she loves it! I order the wings and yesterday was the first time I ordered the greek chicken salad and it was amazing! love the salad dressing that it comes with and the salad itself is huge! I recommend this place.

I personally love this place, fresh ingredients and it tastes really good. My wife and I usually get our food delivered. Their subs are great and I love their chicken gyro. Pasta dishes are okay. They are very friendly with me and I’ve never been mistreated.

I was treated like dog s*** by the rude woman who worked the counter. I ordered a sandwich but forgot to order a drink. I didn’t have cash, and there is a credit card minimum, SO I COULDN’T HAVE A CUP OF WATER WITH MY SANDWICH. This is horrible customer service. I had to eat this huge meatball sub and bread without a sip of water. I can’t believe the staff did this to me, I wanted a full refund but instead I just made sure that nobody I know ever goes to this place again. I hope they go out of business so a humane company can take over. This one experience outweighs all my previous positive experiences, I’m honestly disguested.

OK– I’m not sure if the girl, who other reviewers call «the fat girl/​lady», still works there. but the other reviewers are correct… she is a complete _​_​_​_​_​ (i’ll let your imagination fill in the blank). I have not ordered from this place for over a year because of HER!
On the food side: Meh, like any other little pizza/​sub/​pasta take out joint. Subs are ok… pizza was too greasy and cheese was too rubbery… didn’t try any of their pastas. BUT I am seeing two reviews on here about cockroach problems… so good luck :)

Antonelli’s is much better than others are giving it credit. I can’t get enough.
