The UPS Store

I have done business with UPS store 5528 for many years. They are very nice and provide an exceptional service for their customers. I always appreciate all of their assistance and hard work. Thanks for getting all our packages where they need to be!

I am so very disappointed with my visit to your store at 12:48 p.m. with the clerk. She was very rude! I had an item to ship with a prepaid label from USPS that I printed from my email and was offered a packaging that may be of a 10×13 size… today I just did not have enough cash on me and the only choice I had was to use my bank card instead and requested a smaller packaging that I know would fit my item. She said that she cannot accept my card as a form of payment due to the payment amount being so little. Her remark was «well stuff it in there» and then crazy thing is when I swiped my debit card she told me at that point that my card declined I was so extremely embarrassed and confused as to why that would happen. At this point there was another customer in the store hearing everything. I felt so bad! I tried another card and she said it declined as well. Then she exclaimed «just take it» (at this point I already had everything packaged and label ready to go). I know very well that my cards are okay with funds. Omg what a terrible experience. Luckily, there’s a Fulton bank right next door to the UPS store so I went and withdrew $ 20 and was charged a $ 3 fee to do that and returned to the UPS store to pay for it. What a horrible day! She made me feel terrible. I will never ever ever return to that store to do any business. I was only in the area with my daughter for a medical appointment. Usually I go to the Hackettstown UPS store which they know me well. There I am always welcomed and nicely treated. Terrible service today at the Phillipsburg UPS store.

I’ve been here over the holidays for the past two years to get packages shipped back home. I’ve always had a pleasant and efficient experience.
The staff is friendly. They get you in and out of the store. If you gave them your information during a prior visit, they can even make your transaction more seamless.
