Complete Air Mechanical

Lazy techs who start quoting prices as they walk through your door. Without even looking at the problem, they «know» what the problem is… BS. Don’t even think about using them… rip offs and they didn’t even fix the problem.

I used them today for the first time. Told them what the issue was. I got the price $ 65. Service Guy arrived said $ 65 was only for coming to the house. He worked not even for 2 Minutes and charged additional $ 60. Not satisfied with service and their ridiculous charges.
2 h later we figured out the drain was still clogged and hasn’t been cleaned, that why we have called for this service.

BE WARNED — Complete Air Mechanical will gouge you eventually. I recently had warranty work completed on a 2.5 year old system that CAM installed. The air handler needed a new valve that controlled the amount of Freon in the system (which was under the parts warranty). Complete Air Mechanical has predetermined fixed rates no matter what the work entails. For 1 hour and 15 minutes (from the knock on the door until the techs truck left the driveway) of work and with the part covered under warranty, this company charged a flat rate of $ 989. It took 3 days for the General Manager to call me back after constant badgering on my part and her explanation was they have fixed fee and there is nothing they will do about it. Work was not based on the actual work performed or services earned. Be warned, if you do have this company do any work for you that down the line they will hit you with exorbitant rates not based on the work performed or the task at hand but what they want to gouge you with.
Very disappointed from a 7 – 8 year customer who has spent close to $ 10k with this company. $ 11k now.

After 8 months I just received a message via Unilocal messenger– Really!!! We spent a substantial amount of money– They screwed up AC installation in our home and were not willing to make good. I do not recommend CAM to anyone… Customer service and personal care lacking.

DO NOT USE AIR MECHANICAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. First off, they are a complete rip off. I received a quote from them and then received another quote for the exact same service and the other quote was approximately $ 400 cheaper.
Secondly, they are extremely unprofessional. I am a condo owner that lives in Virginia and I have a tenant in my condo. The a/​c technician that came to fix my a/​c put me on speaker phone and discussed the problems in front of my tenant’s mother, which is extremely unacceptable. Additionally, the problems that he told me were present were incorrect. For example, he tried to scam me by saying I needed a new thermostat. The thermostat is digital and is only 5 or 6 years old. Also, he claimed there was mold present in my condo. He claimed he «smelt» it. When I saw pictures of all areas around my a/​c unit there was absolutely no visible mold.
Do not use this company under ANY circumstances unless you want an incorrect diagnosis and an extremely inflated bill.
