To much gristle and fat in there carne Asada chips. Otherwise very good. I once ordered the nachos with ground beef and the beef was way undercooked it was totally pink! I found that to be extremely disgusting, especially since I don’t know where they get there meat. Anyways still disgusting! I showed the women working and she said it’s just the seasoning that makes it look like that… Umm come on I have been making food forever and I know what raw meat looks like. Not only did she lie she tried covering it up… Needless to say I felt I couldn’t trust them and there food and there cooking skills. Who wants to eat raw pink ground hamburger… SICK!!! If for not those two things I would find there food delicious. Who know maybe each location is different.

If I could give zero stars I would !!! I’m sorry but a quesadilla with a burrito and a side of chips is not worth $ 20 especially not from here!!! Especially since they wouldn’t break down the price areas and explain why two 4.49 items with a side of chips was $ 19.45 so I suggest go to don Pedro’s and save your wallet and mind

Love Muchas Gracias! I’d say the best location for consistent delicious food is St. Helens location, but this Longview location is fantastic too. I’ve never had a bad meal here, but sometimes it’s crazy how delicious the food is! Carne asada burrito, shrimp burrito, chimichunga, tacos… Yum!

I want to be fair about this because I don’t like leaving negative reviews. I’ve given Muchas Gracias two tries since I am a Mexican food fanatic and grew up around tacquerias like this place. I have to say both times I thought the food was of extremely poor quality and I did not enjoy it. The quality of the meat used was pretty gross to me and I thought the other ingredients were very cheap. There was a menu item or two that was passable but it was way more miss than hit. Despite my major love of quick Mexican food, my two experiences here have put me off enough that I haven’t been back. The positives are this place is open 24 hours and is extremely cheap. I’m sure there has to be a few decent things on the menu but I didn’t find them. I know I will probably wind up trying this place again at some point and I may give a better review in the future.

If you like your food barely warm poor taste and poor quality this place is for you! My fish tacos were broken tiny pieces of fish not enough to fill a mouse,

First I would like to say thank you to the staff and the good job they do. This place has authentic Mexican«street» food. As someone who spent a lot of time in So Cal I have to say this place is a ray of So Cal sun in our little monsoon community. The food here is exactly like a lit of the taco stands and taco trucks in So Cal. They use simple ingredients, yet that is part of what makes it so good.

This place is awesome. My husband and I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and got chicken enchiladas and they had a special on Tuesdays for two enchiladas plus rice and beans for $ 4.99. So we got two orders of the special. We headed over to the fixings bar — WOW a true fixing bar — mild red mild green raw sliced radishes cilantro sliced pickled carrots the best one is a chunky green chili salsa with cilantro, lime, green chilies, vinegar, and salt. WOW it was good. And there was this onions and orange pepper stuff too. I did make the mistake of putting one of those orange peppers in my mouth and ate it whole. Did not realize it was a pickled Habanero until I swallowed it down and the woman said«are you OK?» OMGNO! she offered me a glass of milk free of charge which I gulped down. It was really hot. As I am not accustomed to hot peppers, this was a total eye opening experience. But all in all, we had the specials, paid $ 10.80 for two specials but the food lasted for two meals EACH. With all the fixings for other food too. You can not get fast food for cheaper. I figured we got four + meals out of that order. So cheap, tasty and nice folks. All good.

I ordered a chicken burrito and there was so much liquid(I think water) that just came out of my burrito. It filled my plate. The chicken had hardly any flavor and the beans were watered down. Horrible.

Oh… me gusta tacquerias mexicanas. This review is for all you So Cal heads! As a person who grew up eating San Diego tacqueria food, this was truly a sight for sore eyes. Not having had a good ol fashioned carne asada burrito in months, I felt like I was in San Diego again. It had the taco shop feel and vibe! They nearly had all of my San Diego comfort food from the carne asada, rolled tacos, the pickled carrots, and my beloved horchatas. Just no carne asada fries(can’t have it all I suppose) It tasted just like home and that is priceless. The food costs less than $ 10 and you get quite a bit of food to eat. Mahalo and muchas gracias Muchas Gracias for taking me back to mi casa.

Order something light — it’s a «heavy» sort of place. more like fast food than sit down. Nice folks but the food was just ok. Too many onions in salsa and other dishes…

Fact is, I eat here at least once a week. The carne asada, polo adada, the oregon, and the breakfast burrito are all winners. Yea there are some dishes that are duds, but I’ve found they are worth coming back for.

I just moved up here from Southern California, and have been seeking out some good mexican food. A friend recommended we try muchas gracias, and I’m so glad we did! I’ve since been quite a few times and haven’t been disappointed yet. I’m a huge fan of tacos, pretty much any kind and they definitely have good ones. I wouldn’t classify Muchas Gracias as a taqueria though, I’ve been to MANY taquerias and this isn’t one, there are way too many items for that. It reminds me of the kick-ass mexican food I’d get just down the street from where I used to live. I could(and have) live on mexican food alone and this place just does it for me. I’ve always had friendly service and delicious food, so I’m a happy camper. Not the best I’ve had, but it’s up there

Perhaps it’s the time that has elapsed since the last reviews, but I tried out Muchas Gracias with my husband the other night after seeing a decent review elsewhere, and it was good. Much more authentic than I was expecting, especially for a place that has a drive-thru. There were a lot of things to choose from, and I picked the beef chimichanga. My husband got the beef burrito combo and decided to also try their tamales. My chimi was delicious, and had a nice helping of sour cream and guacamole on top. My husband enjoyed one of his two burritos and took the other one home so he’d have lunch the next day. The tamales were ok, but not amazing. I’m not a big fan of them at any time, and my husband said he had much better homemade ones when he was working in New Mexico. However, they have a lot more things to try, including chorizo and eggs, which I’m looking forward to down the road. Plus, it’s open 24 hours, so I’m sure we’ll end up there some time after going to the bar.

La Tarasca in Centralia is loads better than this. Like Gabe C, I gave this 2 stars only because the person who suggested it said it was better before. Wicked bad, probably the worst Mexican I’ve ever had. I won’t go back, and don’t recommend taking your chances here. Super-loud black and white wrestling movie on the TV didn’t add anything to the atmosphere.

This is self advertised as a taqueria, and should be judged as such. Taquerias are traditionally street food, that which they every day man buys at astreet vendor. From this I would say that Muchas Gracias is closer to true Mexican food than most places. I’ve never felt as though quality was sacrificed for speed. It’s quick food, with a drive through, but that is due to the type of food they serve, simply made with complex flavors. The menu is rather large, due to many of the items being constructed of the same items but composed differently. You are going to get real beans here, which depending on your feelings of the congealed refrieds from a can, is an eye opener. Creamy, slightly salty, with a deep flavor better than I’ve had at far more expensive places. I can’t say if they use lard in there beans, but the texture was very satisfying to me. My first foray into chorizo, a smoky and spicy Spanish and Portuguese sausage, was here. It’s mixed with eggs to form a delicious, and incredibly filling, mix dripping with the red grease of a food lovers dreams. Hard on your stomach? Honestly, yes. Worth the suffering? I’ve never regretted it. Just the fact that a «fast food» place has chorizo is amazing to me. That they don’t sanitize it by cooking it dry, removing the grease, and with it the flavor, is actually a sign of a good restaurant to me. The cuts of meat are not what some would consider the best, but they seem to be the most flavorful. While some gristle may be found, I don’t find it detracts from the food. Meat needs to have fat and gristle to taste like meat. It needs it to keep from drying out and sapping the moisture from your mouth. This is why I find their carne asada very tasty, giving a satisfying chew. If you are inclined, they do make fish tacos. I’ve only had the chance to try them once, but they were good. Boneless white fish battered fried, served with cilantro instead of lettuce, as they should be, and some lemon wedges to squirt on the fillets. There are many people who don’t like this place, for various reasons, but needs to know what to expect when going there. This is a different kind of food from most other Mexican fast food, better in my opinion. It’s hands on food. From the drive-thru you won’t get a constructed burrito, you’ll get the components, a fork, and a few red and green salsa cups. You have to put the meat, beans, rice, guacamole, and salsa on the tortilla yourself. On the flip side, this is not Azteca or other such higher scale joint. This is food made for everyday lower class people, in effect made to be as flavorful as possible with simple ingredients. I find Muchas Gracias to excel at what it does, being better than fast food has any right to be. That their staff seems composed of Hispanic immigrants also speaks levels to me. I believe they are making the food that they themselves would enjoy. Sorry for waxing poetic, but I miss this place here in the Amish countryside.
