Worst Night’s Sleep — Room Reeked of Dog Pee and Cigarette Smoke! I’m writing this review from outside the hotel as I could not take another minute in the room. When we checked in yesterday afternoon we immediately reported back to the front desk that the room had a strong odor. They tried running an ozone machine in the room — which helped for a little while, but when we arrived back late that night, the stench was back. I again reported it to the front desk. They offered to move us to another room, but they had no more doubles and only a king with no sofa bed. My choices were to try to just make it through the night or have my 2 kids sleep on the floor. After smelling that room, I knew I didn’t want my kids sleeping on the floor in this hotel. We opted to try and make it through the night. Huge mistake. I only slept 4 hours and couldn’t take it anymore and decided I needed to get some fresh air. My kids are asleep as I write this, but only because they were so tuckered out after a long day of playing with family. So much for being a La Quinta rewards member. Next time I will leave and check in elsewhere. Hotels are hit or miss, this was definite miss. I would not recommend staying here.

I stayed here thanksgiving night and they put me in the handicapped room which only had a shower instead of a bathtub (I’m not handicapped btw). I ended up getting athletes feet from their nasty shower stall. Also the room smelled like smoke, and I could tell the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed because it was dirty. I wish I’d gone to the Hilton across the street. Don’t stay here!!!

The housekeeper left no towels after the first night, and one of our shirts was missing. It is doubtful it went in with the laundry as management suggested because it was no where near linen. We’re just glad we had nothing of real value. Management brought out more towels but it was inconvenient having to wait when we’re in a hurry.
Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

Good place to stay. The hotel is located near shopping and restaurants. Rooms are clean. I would recommend. The only complaint I have is that I had to wait about 5 minutes to check in. The front desk attendant was away and the was no sign indicating return or bell or anything.
