Dr. Jared Allomong is a health practitioner who has given my entire family exceptional treatments and advice for a range of conditions and injuries. He is someone we like to go to first, as he can rule out so many possible missteps with his excellent diagnostic skills and deep understanding of holistic medicine. His practice is also devoted to educating patients on preventing disease. Admittedly, we are patients who are unwilling to spend a lot of money on supplements, but we are never pressured to purchase them. Alternatives are always offered. Dr. Jarred Allomong and his staff have provided us with relief, adjustments, cures, information and alternatives to routine medical care that is an important part of our health. As proof, am making an appointment today to be sure my hiking boots will work well for a little hip problem just before, at the age of seventy, I hike in the national parks of New Zealand.

I have gone and seen Dr Jared numerous times over the past 6 years. Dr Jared always has a very kind, gentle demeanor. He has always paid attention to my whole self and what in my body needs attention to thrive.

Wow, I was shocked to read the previous review. I have had a vastly different experience with this center, but I came to them after a car accident, so I have to say that I cannot comment on usual 1st and 2nd appointment protocol. I first went in in October 2012. I had been to Chiropractors since about 7 years old for occasional routine maintenance care. I was unsure how I felt about them, as I found that some were too rough and it made me tense up and scared me. My experience with Jared was different than all the rest. I looked for a chiropractor that used Applied Kinesiology(muscle testing), as I had experienced it with another chiropractor in the past and thought it was pretty neat. Muscle testing allows a direct line of communication to the body, informing the practitioner on which bones are out of place, what systems are malfunctioning, and what supplements will benefit the client. Yes, this center sells supplements(as do many others), but in my experience they are of very high quality. Jared(the chiropractor) is in no way pushy about you purchasing from him, its just a suggestion. He has tested supplements that I use at home, etc and I have purchased things online when it was a better deal. He will happily recommend one brand over another and you can search for it yourself. I find Jared to be extremely knowledgable in his field. I am a Massage Therapist and Somatic Counselor so I am educated enough to spot a phony. In the nearly two year period of knowing Jared and his wife, Risa(who works in the office occasionally), they have become like family. They were extremely supportive through career ups and downs, a breakup, and recently the death of my mother. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for experience above and beyond the norm.

We visited the center and received a battery of muscle testing(pressing the arm down for weakness holding different vials). My girlfriend was having stomach problems and he diagnosed as an auto-immune syndrome, exotic virus and hormonal imbalances. He then prescribed a battery of pricey supplements and offered a free follow up visit. It turned out she was having a reaction to a certain chewing gum. Within a day when she stopped chewing the gum all of the symptoms went away. Hashimoto Encephalopathy Autoimmune Disease cured. Amazing. Another person we work with was also diagnosed with Hashimoto by Dr. Allomong. I’ve since learned Hashimoto is a VERY rare disease with only a few dozen cases ever diagnosed in the U.S. Actual symptoms include disorientation, psychosis, tremors, jerks in the muscles and lack of coordination, partial paralysis on the right side, speech problems, seizures, confusion and hallucinations. Neither our co-worker nor my girlfriend presented with any of these symptoms but kinesiology muscle testing with a vial concluded they did have it, and needed lots of supplements for a long time to combat it. Really? Before figuring out the gum problem, we went in for the«free» follow up visit. On top of that, he moved us into the next room for the last five minutes and we were told that we now had to pay for a full«office» visit of $ 60 because we finished in the other room! That is the most expensive 10 feet I’ve ever walked in my life. During this process, the prescribed supplements were recalled due to contamination. They did not do anything anyway so we were glad to just get the money back without a hassle — we thought. The recall letter we received did not contain any notice of a recall period(I’ve never heard of a company ending a recall — just keep your Honda with the failing brake system or hold on to that salmonella laden beef because we are only taking those back for two weeks). The staff member Ashley at the center told us she would not take the supplement back because we were notified by them the recall period just ended(did not happen). We said that we would dispute the credit card. Quote response: «Good luck with that. People try that and it never works.» This whole stance is obviously due to the fact that hooking people into scary muscle testing results leads to the majority of their business — supplemental«remedy» sales. So after going to the«chiropractor» that never even looked at our spines, posture, leg length, tested or moved a single joint — we are not going back for my «free» visit. We decided to save the money.
