This is my go to place for all my dentistry needs. My whole family comes here. It gets a little busy when school is out, because all the college kids want to get their teeth cleaned, lol. I come here every six months. They have a cute little waiting area with magazines to read and a few toys to keep the kiddos occupied. There is a little coat closet you can hang your coat in. They are very efficient and gentle with your teeth. My four year old son actually likes to get his teeth cleaned, which is great, I was terrified as a kid. They are so good with him and he gets a little toy when he leaves, so he is always excited about coming back. My teeth always feel nice and clean when I leave. They give really good recommendations too. The dentist comes in after the hygienist is done and does an overlook of everything. I really like this joint and the abundance of parking is always a plus for me. I totally recommend this place! The employees are always nice and super helpful.

This place is what every dentist office should strive for; courteous, efficient, clean, and affordable. 1st time going for my wife and I, it had been 3 years since I’d been to the dentist(last time I went was in the Navy… not fun experiences). My wife hadn’t been in 14 years!!! Granted her parents didn’t have dental insurance growing up and she’s been dealing with other more pressing medical issues so getting her teeth looked at wasn’t a priority. Décor/Ambiance: Everything is very clean and tidy, awesome magazine selection which I didn’t peruse as much as I would have liked to because they’re so damn efficient. The rooms are nice and for my X-rays I didn’t even have to move the room I was in had one so double bonus. Also they have the newer digital machines which means the slides that you bite down on are more comfortable(rubber vs paper). Cleaning/Staff:Lynn was my dental hygienist and I’m not sure if its a testament to her skills or the absolute lack thereof from Naval dental hygienist; but that was the most pleasant experience I’ve had at a dentist ever. Even though she said I had excellent oral hygiene my 3 year hiatus caused some plaque buildup that she had to muscle out. Well even though I was making her earn her pay that day I could barely tell(as compared to past experiences) that she was in my mouth(yes I know how it sounds and I’m leaving it anyways). Honestly in the Navy they had the deft touch of a stone mason with a cold chisel, if it didn’t hurt I guess they weren’t doing their jobs. The dentist was awesome as well, very laid back and down to earth. My wife was worried she would get some flack about not going to a dentist for such a long amount of time but everyone was very kind and nonjudgmental. From reading the reviews and talking to staff some people travel several hours for this guy. Pretty excited he’s only 10 minutes away. Check this dentist out I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Let’s be honest– no one likes going to the dentist. I think I hate it more than most. I get horrible flashbacks to childhood cavities being drilled. I grew up in pre-flouridated water days, and had lots of cavities. Having shared that, sometimes its just not avoidable. So I go when I have to. And I go to a wonderful dentist. He understands my fears and is kind and gentle and caring. I really trust him to take good care of me. He has the same office staff that has been there for years and know me by name. I think that also speaks volumes about what a good man he is. And the staff works hard to get me in around a very busy schedule. My appointments run on time. I get called in right on schedule and if they say its a 15 minute visit, I am in and out in 15 minutes! I highly recommend Dr Rappaport– for those times when you really need a dentist, and your twice yearly cleanings(yes, they really are important!)

Ok, you want to hear something insane? I live in Ohio now, but I still make apointments at this dentist for my yearly check-up whenever I come back to visit my mom. That’s how much I like Dr. Rappaport. I’ve been seeing him since … geeze, forever. Longer than I can remember I would travel to almost East Longmeadow to get my teeth cleaned and checked-up on. And I continue to go back because he’s the best. I like his office — a small cozy waiting room, a few exam rooms in the back. I like his staff, hygenists that have been there for years(and remember me every time I come in). And I like Dr. Rappaport, the nicest dentist you’ll ever meet. They don’t waste your time here. They take you in on time and do what they have to do — cleaning, examination, x-rays if you need’em and you’re out. They move quickly but they do their job well. I’m happy everytime I walk out of this place. How many dentists can you say that about?
