American Gas Station

Sure go ahead and get your gas here, BUT, stay far away from the Dunkin Donuts in this place. Absolutely disgusting!!! This place should be shut down.

One of the last self serve gas stations to fill up your rental car tank before jumping on the Queensborough/​59^th Street/​Ed Koch bridge (or whatever the heck they are calling it nowadays) back into the city and dropping it off.
This place always gives me the creeps. Especially at night. Kind of reminds me of a B-​grade slasher movie scene about to unwind, or a thug carjacking about to run off with my beastie Ford Escort rental car.
Bad enough that regular unleaded gas is over $ 4 a gallon, but having to make me go inside to pick up my receipt for using a credit card is a pain in the ass when I should be able to get it printed at the machine. Have to lock up the car and hope it’s still there when I get back to it. This happens every time I am there, as it did today. Plus, there is a mini Dunkin Donuts inside that usually has some strange types hanging around it.
At least it seems this place is always open. Just keep looking around when pumping your gas.
