Walls Motel Long Beach

WArning ! Fraud Alert! Do Not Get A Room Here! I bought the $ 79 voucher for $ 59 and they refused to honor it. Then you try to contact Unilocal and they refuse to allow you to speak to them only email. They grabbed my wallet of the counter and took my cash they threatened me, these people are dangerous

Came in last night… Not so great ! I’m not used to motels like this… I would say furniture, towels, and bed sheets were brought from home or bought from thrift stores. I payed $ 70 and after 10 minutes of being there I had to leave! There’s no way that I could have stayed! The room smelled of left over food, found long hairs in the bed! Clerk gave me someone else’s I’d which is fine mistakes happen, had I not left something in the room I would have rode off without it! And NO REFUND PEOPLE! I didn’t bother asking, no way was I gonna argue at 3 am for $ 70! Almost left with some funky looking guys I’d lol I would say get a room at the comfort inn!

They get NO STARS. their customer service is terrible. The guy helping us asked to show the room first to us. Who does that? And when he did show us, I couldn’t believe my eyes. He leads us behind the office to a gated door opens it with a key & as soon as he opens the door it’s smells really bad like old & curry. Just really terrible. The room felt like the owner should be sleeping there kuz it’s connected to the office so why would you rent it out to a customer? He refused to refund my money even though he stated he didn’t have my payment info. He also said I would only be charged 1 night of $ 85. THAT WAS A HUGE LIE! The OWNER was VERY RUDE! He refused to give us a receipt or documentation stating that. I’m really upset & will report them. DON’T EVER STAY HERE!!! WORST MOTEL & RUDE OWNERS. HE BARELY EVEN SPOKE ENGLISH.

I have to admit that this place offered more then Motel 6. The place is clean but I have an issue with the jacuzzi tub/​shower. There is no shower curtain. Which is weird to me. It was kinda freaky.

Management better, rooms are clean, bad part it’s located in somewhat bad part of long beach.

This place is disgusting!!! Appears to be «remodeled» but the «new» fridge was moldy and unusable! Internet access only allows one user at a time… lame! The walls were grimy and dirty not to mention pointless as we were woken at 4am to the banging headboard in the next room. Was not able to shower as I let the water run for 10mins. and never got any hot water, needless to say a complete dump!!! Do yourself a favor and keep driving!

A piece of shit service. I dropped a friend of mine over there, and he regretted going there.

I have to write the review while i am in the room. I have no idea why my stay is different from the other reviewers but my experience is completely different. The room is decent but the price is $ 15 more at the window then stated on line. Im tired, i just want to rest, my key didn’t work and the guy refused to give me another key. said he was available to open my room any time i needed him to. why this is an issue i do not know. They refused to remove dirty laundry left in front of my room. Was finally given a different room. im getting my rest but am out of here in the morning. would never use this place again.

Pros: clean room, no pests, large clean bathroom, over all quiet at night.
Cons: no shower curtain, be sure to use the rail on the way out of the tub or its your ass. Mini-​Fridge doesn’t work, ice machine doesn’t work.
Bottom line? If you need a clean place to crash there are CONSIDERABLY worse places to stay in Long Beach. Why only 3 stars? Because they’re trying to charge $ 75 for this hole, thanks to the Unilocal coupon I got it for $ 60. I can live with $ 60, I’d never pay full price when I can go to a guaranteed clean chain motel for the same.

Everything was great inside of the motel with two exceptions:
1) The bathroom was extremely cold due to improper insulation of the windows and the 2) jacuzzi tub (which was awesome) was a bit of a death trap coming up and down the stairs. We had to use all of the motel towels to pave the way of the water that leaked out from a shower (no curtain) just to keep from slipping.
One big problem outside, possibly just because we were there on New Year’s Eve and people were excited.
Gunshots were shot (one when my companion took a walk and actually saw someone shooting off a gun) and I heard several shots throughout the night that sounded as though coming from very near my room door.
Other than that the accomodations were very good for the price. Would probably have rated it a 4 or 5 otherwise.

If you’re like my family, all we need is a nice clean place to lay our heads at night to sleep, a place to shower & potty and a place to get some rest!
It was a long drive, and the next day we were off to set sail for our family cruise! We were able to get fast food around the area, bring it back to the room & just unwind from the long road trip.
Everything was clean, the bed was comfy for me, the hubby & our toddler. The bathroom is really nicely tiled & clean. I wish all motels were like this it had a mini fridge & microwave. (Even a nice «red light special» effect for some dimmed lighting — but there was no red light special for us as we had little one with us & were pooped from the drive. Lol.) ;)
Over all — if you need a decent place to lay your head for the evening & traveling with a family, I would reccomend this place as it is clean & comfy for the night.

The perfect value motel. Excellent service — my reservation was confirmed by email and a personal text. The room was clean with lots of amenities I wouldn’t have expected for the price. Who gives free toothpaste these days?! We were sent back on the road with extra bottles of water from the friendly manager. Thanks Steve!
