Towing Operation

My car spent some quality time here, in the middle of a big tin graveyard. It spent time there while I immediately assumed it had been stolen– There was no street cleaning the night before, so why would it be towed? It chit-​chatted with a broken down 87 Malibu while I took the bus to work, and then to the impound. It cast furtive glances at the pallets as the polite employee informed me I would need to go to City Hall so I could pay my parking tickets. I saw it peering through the gate as I returned 2 hours later and handed my debit card to the cashier. However, I could tell it was getting impatient while I was sitting outside for HALF AN HOUR because they hadn’t even put my dang jeep in the system yet!!! Seriously, people. I know it’s difficult to type in some information into some outdated hunk of plastic, but I would hope that 3+ hours is enough time. There was no line, and I didn’t see a parade of tow trucks grandly pulling their hostages into the cage.
But your employees are very nice. Very friendly.
I’m still out $ 800.
