Instrument shops aren’t easy to find, let alone brass shops, so I was glad that I happened upon this cute little brass shop in L.B. The shop is located in a strip-​type shopping area and it’s easily accessible with plenty of parking on the street.
The shop is super clean and organized and the employee working there was very nice and helpful.
In additions to instruments, accessories and repairs, they also offer lessons as well within the same shop (in separate private rooms).
I will definitely be back there for all my brass needs… did I mention that there is an awesome little cupcake shop right across the street???

We saw an ad for this store in the Grunion Gazette and were happy to find a brass store in Long Beach. My husband plays trumpet so we went up to check them out. Turns out it is a great place! All high end horns, for symphony or jazz, real pro horns.
Lee was running the store and he was really nice and very friendly. We loved the visit. They have a great selection of horns, cases and accessories (such as valve oil, etc. They even have some sheet music and books.
And just down a couple of doors is a Woodwinds place too. What more could a horn geek want!
Go check them out. Friendly, clean, sort of boutique type place. Oh and they have practice rooms and rooms to rent if you want to give lessons. Anyway, what a nice experience!
