What a place to be a part of. This temple makes one feel at home. Opens up their arms and welcomes newbies and treats them as if they have been a part of the community forever.
Torah study so far has been my favorite. You obtain insight not only from the rabbi but also from other members. Everyone is quite wise, even when the kids participate they provide such wisdom beyond their years.
If you’re looking for a place to go for Friday night services or just to learn about Torah and are near the Long Beach area, Temple Israel of Long Beach is the place to go. Even if you have to drive a bit it’s worth the drive.

The remodel here is super dope. Stunning for real. But the place just does not embrace the local community. It seems like the rooms are empty all day. What about a locals low impact sweat class? Stuff like that. Get the lbc community involved…
