I’m going on a trip so had been looking to get my nails done. This came up on my Groupon deals and I realize that I had been to their other location. So this was a second location which was actually closer to where I live. Called up and may and appointment with ease. I showed up on time and the receptionist was very cheery. There was only one other gal finishing up her nails and two cosmologist. Since this place has only been open 3 months, it’s not as decked out as the South St. location. They still have the big oversized couch like chairs. Since I had a mani and pedi, both of the girl did at the same time. I decided to get a design on my nails this time and I must admit the design was a bit difficult, but Kim did a great job. She messed up the first time and just redid it and it came out beautiful. I hope this place makes it because I liked their other location and it’s not so nail salon-y… will go again.

Tried this location for the first time it is a nice salon and my daughter really enjoyed her service but I was not impressed with my pedicure or the gal that did it. I did the Her majesty pedi and I really didn’t see any difference from the regular. I will bring my daughter back for her service but I will stick with my regular place.

Worst service EVER! I went to the newly opened Long Beach location for mine and my daughter’s birthday. We had purchased a special offer from Groupon for the Lemon Drop Mani /Pedi. A friend of mine purchased the same groupon and came along. I have a small service dog that alerts me when he senses I am getting sick; I walked in and they said«No Dogs Allowed» I told her it was a service dog and she didn’t ask us to leave but the staff made comments when they saw my dog and talked under their breathes.(FYI my dog sat quietly next to me the whole time as he is trained to do). Once we told them we had a Groupon the service didn’t get any better! They did not offer us refreshing water to us although every other customer that came in was immediately served. All three of us had a very unpleasant and poor pedicure and and sloppy manicure. We were expecting an enjoyable birthday experience and were treated like second rate customers! I tipped both mine and my daughters mani/pedi person $ 20 — but have regretted it ever since! Last year’s birthday my daughter and I visited the Lakewood location which was darling. The service was ok, but there was a lot of tension between staff members it seemed to me. My manicurist kept grumbling and saying negative comments about her co-workers and it made me very uncomfortable. The Lakewood location is much more appealing visually. The fun environment is what drew me in but the service and the employees were less than satisfactory.

Not your typical chop shop. Everything is clean and service is good. On Tuesdays they have their«cupcakes and champagne» promotion but call ahead of time because the get busy!

I love Savvy Chic Nail Cottage. I had Michelle and she was wonderful. I love her personality and she did a wonderful job. She put me at ease. I love the atmosphere and how courteous and professional the workers are. I always feel special and come out feeling like I am on a cloud. Every woman needs to go there to experience the service for themselves. I went to the one in Lakewood at 4316 South St., Lakewood, CA90712.
