Don’t ever go here!!! This place is horrible! Horrible customer service! Very rude employees

Sooooooo they decided to say that they were out of things because it was close to closing time. It was so unacceptable. This will be that last time that I will be patronizing this hot mess of an establishment. A disgrace to the Popeye franchise. I’m looking at four other customers that they are blatantly lying to. Ugh. Disgusted. I wish I could give them no stars… Actually NEGATIVESTARS.

Fries were cold. nothing was fresh. Was told that the BBQ sauce, which I requested was in the bag but wasn’t. Ordered 2 $ 5 boxes and for one requested and extra biscuit with my fries and was not given one when I had ordered it. I love Popeye’s but this location has to be the worst one I have been to. There is no reason why the food should be cold, since they were not closed.

To be fair the food actually gets 4 stars but this is just a really bad location. Parking is awful, homeless people outside that make you feel uncomfortable getting in and out of your car and customers that make for an awkward experience. I feel really bad for the workers here, the kind of stuff they have to put up with is ridiculous. As I was waiting in line a kid was arguing with the cashier about wanting something that wasn’t on the menu and he kept repeating«your playin wit me!» to her. Then he said something about pizza hut that made no sense. I could see the frustration in the cashiers face. At the same time the second cashier took the order of a lady who kept staring at the menu, ordered and then walked away without paying. I was laughing a little because I couldn’t believe that was happening. In the end, I was satisfied with my food but will be going to another location next time.

Don’t waste your time at this location it’s the worst place I have ever been in my life. I go wait in a ten minute to find out the manager isn’t ordering certain things because of the crowned that comes in to get it. Only reason I eat there was for the rip and deep but since they don’t want the customers I’ll no longer go lol place is a joke so I settled for there Tuesday special they had it was beyond cold I asked to get some warm chicken they say it is warm umm no I know what warm chicken feels and taste like. I asked to speak to the manager she wasn’t even professional enough to get off the phone and speak with me here personal convo was more important smh so I left there cold chicken right on the table I will never return to this location worst experience I’ve ever I countered in the food business I can’t be mad at them I have to be mad at the owner because that’s who he hired for the face of his business! Good luck Popeyes. The one star is only because you have to give it one not because I feel they should have one

love the naked strips however, their prices are getting out of hand just for chicken. Also They need to do a better job of controlling their loiters. If I decide, which I haven’t in years, to sit down and have my meal their I would like to enjoy my food in peace and not be harassed by random people coming from outside on the street.

Popeye’s always hit’s the spot. However this is one of the less attractive locations I’ve visited. There’s a lot of homeless in LB as most of ussometimes they sit on the floor by the entrance or they just wonder in randomly. The outside of the restaurant looks pretty filthy. I even feel eeky about touching the door. Desperate times call for desperate means…

Okay, YEAH!!! I know I cheated on my diet, but so what, as long as I am admitting it in public, its ok. Alright, lets get to the real, this spot is GHETTO!!! GHETTO!!! Do not stop here, even if you are dying from hunger an possibly starving. If you are starving, just go ahead and die or go in the 7-eleven that is in the same lot and grab a Twinkie. I visited this location on the $ 1.49 Tuesday, because I had a craving for fried chicken. Man, the people that come in here, made me grab my wallet and make sure I had a hand on it. The service was good and attentive, nothing against the staff, except when I order my leg and thigh for $ 1.49, don’t it come with a biscuit. Im serious. I got in my car with my chicken, but when I opened the bag, there were no biscuits in the bag, forreal. Is this something new, I don’t think so, because if I would have gone to another Popeye’s, I would have gotten a dang biscuit. I was going to make me a little sandwich and because I had no biscuit, it spoiled my whole meal. My $ 1.49 shouldve gotten me a biscuit with my meal. I was not pleased.

I got the $ 5 dollar box with came with 3 piece chicken tenders either spicy or regular, two sides and one biscuit. I got the spicy chicken tenders and they were great with a side of BBQ sauce… I ended up getting the rice and beans for one of my sides and it was cold and had a bad odor from them. the other side I got was the coleslaw and it was so watery and gross! Service was okay but the parking is horrible!

This is a good popeye’s. Their chicken is good and their sides are fresh… when they’re available. Tend to be out of a lot of random items, especially later in the evening. Service has always been super friendly to me though. The location next to a 7-Eleven that’s popular with the local transient population is the only thing that takes away from this location, IMO.

Best fast food chicken and shrimp around. It takes a bit longer because it is made to order. So worth the wait.

They need to rename this place Skid Row Chicken & Biscuits. After my last visit, I just can’t manage it anymore. It is always incredibly filthy and filled with… oh, just sad, sad folks. Poverty is no joke, kids. Last time I tried to grab some quick spicy chicken, I ended up waiting for more than 20 minutes. Isn’t this supposed to be fast food? Finally fed up, I asked what the issue was. They couldn’t manage to find my order. Somehow it was lost in the 5 feet between the register and the kitchen window. I gave up and asked for a refund. After having a terribly difficult time with the basic math, the cashier was able to refund my money. No apologies, no attempt at repair.(No, I was not rude.) But honestly? Shame on me for not turning around and walking immediately out. If the seating area looks like Skid Row, imagine how disgusting the back is, where the food lurks and customers can’t see? God help us all.

It was 90 degrees outside, and I wanted to try some new food for a change, so I walk into Popeyes. The first thing I notice is how SOARINGHOT it was inside! I was like«Isn’t there any ventilation in the kitchen as well as an AC in the dining area?» However, I ordered the Chicken Po’boy, and it was very delicious! I would definitely come back, having the restaurant function properly so I don’t swelter inside!

I like Popeye’s chicken, biscuits, gravy, fries… everything better than KFC or Roscoes! ;-p The service is a little slow. The location is sketchy, but get your delicious food and go. A drive through would be nice, but that ain’t happening any time soon.

Welcome to Where the Wild Things Are! This place is Über Ghetto! People are always yelling and the staff is comical! But for 99 cent chicken, I wouldn’t expect any less. Thanks for giving me this experience.

I used to love their spicy chicken strips. However, they are now just«blah». Not to mention the area is kind of shaddy. Very interesting charactes in the parking lot area. They do have daily specials, but I’m not sure if they are worth the visit.
