I love this little neighborhood«village». There is so much stuff packed in here it’s ridiculous — insurance, gymboree(the gym kind, not the clothing store), a kids’ second hand boutique, a gym, a real estate place, two hair salons, cute little boutiques, a dance academy, a coffee shop, a Thai restaurant, a Mexican place, a shoe store, a frozen yogurt shop, a laundromat, a bank, a paint store, a used book store, and a bunch of other little places. A lot of the shops appear to be privately owned which is awesome on it’s own. They also host a «Fourth Friday» here every month that is like an open house for the businesses, but is also fun to walk around at — it’s very safe and family friendly. Usually, someone is giving out samples, or coupons, there is an activity for the kids, or someone has a game set up for the littles. They also have a taco guy, a crêpe stand, and then usually a food truck or a pizza guy. We can usually waste about an hour or so walking up the main street, looking at everything, getting face painting done, and then maybe running into someone we know and talking for awhile. We usually wrap up the evening with frozen yogurt or a quick bite in one of the restaurants. Overall: On my family’s list of places that are«must go to» every month(:
