I am so glad that I listened to neighbors and hired Mario’s Tree Service. I needed 8 birch trees removed from my front yard that had fallen victim to the drought. I have a couple of check boxes that need to be met when hiring a contractor. I called Mario and he answered his phone — check box 1. He came out the same day for a free estimate — check box 2. His price was competitive — check box 3. He scheduled the work within a week, he gave me a two hour time window, he texted me when he got held up, he arrived when he said, his workers were professional, he used professional equipment, he cleaned everything up after, and he was a nice guy — check all the boxes! I will use and recommend this company again and again! I am happy to see honest and hardworking people getting the work and recognition they deserve!

Mario provides excellent customer service, prompt and professional. He works with you and keeps his word. Gives you a quote and honors it. Very happy with the tree service (trimming olive tree). When Mario says he will call you within a certain time, he did. Definitely would recommend and use again. Prices are reasonable!

This was my first time using Mario’s Tree Service for some work in my yard (perimeter hedge trimming and tree trimming). But I will tell you it won’t be my last. Fair pricing, very professional demeanor and attention to customer service beyond most. Mario arrived on time for his appointment to discuss and then the day for service. His men were very polite and attentive to all my requests. The finished product was beautiful… I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Mario’s Tree Service to anyone at any time.

I am very impressed with this business. Mario came out the morning after I called to give me an extremely reasonable bid, and his crew came the next morning to do a full day of work. They did an excellent job, and left the front and back yards in great shape. The guys in the crew were all very polite and friendly (as is Mario). Based upon my experience I can highly recommend them… to avoid confusion about my posted home town of SLO, I should mention that I contracted the work for my elderly mother’s home in Lakewood, CA.

Getting ready to sell our house we were really motivated to trim our birch tree in the front that has hardly been touched for 15 years. I called a few tree trimmer companies and Mario’s was the last one I called after driving behind his truck on Brookhurst. He was the only one that took my call right away, and even though he was the first company I actually spoke to, I decided to go with my instincts and hire him. He seemed honest and straightforward. His guys came out the following Saturday and did an unbelievable job! They also cleaning up perfectly, something I hear a lot of companies don’t do good enough. Mario called first to tell me his guys would be there in 20 minutes and he called when they were done to see how I liked what they did. Great customer service, I highly recommend.
