Long Beach Taco Cart

Christian did a wonderful job of helping us surprise our boss for his birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and super fresh. The taco truck was a huge success and everyone loved it! Would absolutely hire Long Beach Taco Cart again! Thank you, Christian!

I work at the golf course and these guys came out to cater a wedding one night this past year. And I was lucky enough to taste. Very, Very good. I have all this time been trying to find this place.

There isn’t anything about this guy and his cart that I didn’t like. I have been to many a gathering where there was a taco cart, but I haven’t seen a setup like this. Do you have 30 peeps? 50? 100? LBTC don’t care, bring all of your meat eaters and veggie lovers, This guy can handle it.
I was particularly impressed that he had sweet potato for us vegetarians. It was also really cool the way he cooked his meat on a spit with the sweet juice of pineapple rings dripping down the slices of meat.
From what I saw, he comes fully stocked with plenty of lighting, popup tents, propane, grilling and cutting board space, it’s like a self contained little Mexican food joint.

I am planning a party and tried to contact them three times: once through the online webform and twice by email. I was looking forward to go with someone local and thought the reviews on Unilocal looked great. No acknowledgment, no return email. I finally gave up because I figured if they couldn’t even return an email, I couldn’t really trust them to show up on time and provide good catering service. Too bad.

We planned a swim party for my son’s birthday last month. I had no intention of getting the party catered – the kid was turning three, not 30! But before I realized it, our guest list had expanded to about 40 people, and we were leaving on a cross-​country trip a few days after the party. I dreaded the idea of preparing lunch for so many people, so I started looking into taco carts. Long Beach Taco Cart caught my attention because of previous Unilocal!reviews mentioning a focus on vegetarian options. Our family is also vegetarian, and we definitely planned to serve a meat-​free lunch. Anyway, I called Christian and he quickly got back to me with a menu proposal:
sweet potato tacos, mushroom and caramelized onion tacos and grilled veggie mix tacos, quesadillas, kid-​sized bean burritos, vegan beans, vegan rice, flour and corn tortillas, Mexican salad, diced onion, Pico de Gallo, chopped cilantro, shredded cabbage, sour cream, chopped radishes, limes, grilled jalapenos, grilled cebollas grandes (large green onions), red salsa, spicy avocado sauce, Tapatio sauce and tortilla chips.
Christian could not be nicer to work with. He is very communicative, flexible and reliable. Ultimately, the tacos and quasadillos he prepared tasted delicious. Our friends all commented on how much they enjoyed the food (which is a good thing because the shark-​themed cupcakes I baked turned out nothing like the photos on the Martha Stewart Living website!). My family and I never got tired of eating the leftovers, either!

Look no further for the best taco cart out there… period.
The food is amazing! Their presentation and professionalism made everything perfect.
Our menu included something for everyone, from our kiddos to my vegetarian Grandmother everyone loved the menu.
There is tremendous value in being able to enjoy your own party and these guys had it all handled. We live in Belmont Shore and don’t have a ton of space, but they made it happen. Our experience was worth every cent. Thank you Christian!

These guys are awesome!!! Hired them to cater a housewarming party on the Saturday of labor day weekend and they did an amazing job let alone the delicious food they served us. Christian was on top of it with scheduling, sending email, coming by to get the deposit, and on the day of they showed up on time, set up their equipment, and started cooking. Food was served as promised. They had a nice table setting and everyone was very pleased. The guys are very friendly and personable as well. My guests can’t stop talking about them and the food. Thank you Long Beach Taco Cart for a memorable party!

I wanted a veggie taco cart for my birthday party. Christian was a cool guy and gave me a discount (since we were providing the fake «meat»). He even made a grip of veggie kabobs just for us, and made quesadillas, too! We provided veggie chorizo, ground beef, chicken, and steak. They grilled and spiced everything perfectly.
My favorite were the giant grilled green onions. They provided plenty of grilled jalapenos, too. Salsas and sides were all perfecto. Radishes, limes, fresh chopped onion, the works. Rice and beans were also tasty (and they made them without lard or chicken broth, veggie-​style).
No taco cart is cheap, but it worked out to about $ 10 a guest — which suits me just fine. They cooked a bunch of extras and set us up with trays of food, so there was plenty to eat even after they left.
If you’re having a party or special occasion, these guys do it UP! They gave me a t-​shirt, too… and it’s actually COOL! Black with a Dia de los Muertos theme. Way to represent the LBC, guys!
