If I ate everything at the candy shop next door I wouldn’t fit into any of these clothes. Most of the clothes are too small for my frame, however, managed to find some nice summer dresses that were forgiving in some areas(more than others). Customer service was really cold.

Poor customer service. I have been in several times as I live around the corner and I have never acknowledged upon entering or leaving the store. It’s a shame because their merchandise is quality and unique but after the experiences I have had it makes me not want to support my local business.

Bad customer service. I am all for a casual environment but NOBODY wants to be in a store in which 4 women are eating and chatting around the cash register. You were all too busy to greet me but we’re kind enough to lower your voices just enough for me to feel like you were talking about me. This was my first time in the store after recently moving into the area. Unfortunately, I will not return. You should really be a bit more self reflective and customer centric. READYOURREVIEWS and get a clue.

I shop at Neiman Marcus. I know service and I know quality. Service? Two girls chatting one sitting on a stool completely absorbed into her phone. Yeah no service to speak of. Quality? Some pieces are nice to look at but up close, they’re not even comparable to brands like Vince, Haute Hippie, Elizabeth & James, etc… Yet some pieces are more expensive. Not actually sure sure how this place is in business.

if you want to relive that scene in Pretty Woman where the sales girls treated Julia Roberts like shit because they thought she had no money, then this is the place for you.

a nice store that’s gone through some changes. Not as much curated indie designer. more stuff you can find in stores(theory, nicholas K, and various jeans brands). while I like the store, the prices aren’t in line with the economy and other stores on the street have either restructured prices or wound up closing. I also have noticed that they have a specific color scheme they like to feature. lots of navy, black and grey. I know enough indie brands that have some great colors. would love to go beyond basics. I still like the store but I am eclectic… and want something that’s not at department stores

I hate to be the one to give this boutique 2 stars, but honestly, I felt that the customer service really needs an attitude adjustment. I had never been in La Bella, and decided to give it a try. I walked in and the woman was on the phone chatting away and didn’t even acknowledge me. I was interested in a beautiful dress on display as I needed it for a party that night. After standing around a bit, she got off the phone and I had to reapproach her. You would think she would have noticed I was waiting for her. When I finally asked her the price of the dress she basically told me then walked away. I was dumbfounded. No «would you like to try it on» «is this your size and if not, would you like me to check on sizes» or «can I show you other beautiful garments we have». Just walked away. Needless to say I went to Kimberly’s and bought what I needed. I won’t be back to La Bella.

What Customer Service! I was searching for some shoes that I haven’t been able to find in the states, when I started talking to the manager about them she said she would see if she could contact their buyer and get a special pair in for me. Not only did they actually follow up with my request but they did it within the week. They totally went out of their way to help me, a first time visitor, but now they will have a customer for life. Customer service is everything right now and this store has it!

I have been in here before and have always been impressed with their selection, but when I stopped in yesterday I was blown away to see that they carried the new Mike Gonzalez line! Seeing that they are ‘in the know’ enough to carry the highly anticipated first season from this experienced and fashion forward designer was very impressive. It really makes this store stand out from all the other boutiques on 2nd street, taking it from ordinary to being a chic dresser’s shopping destination.

I love the store, I love the owner– Janet. Great customer services, and great selection of shoes. I actually brought one pair of boots over the emails and called them to confirm over the phone. They are so helpful and the owner Janet is so quick at responding to my emails. I have been desperately looking for these boots all over, so it helps with her quick response. I have to say this is the greatest shopping experience ever!!!

I recently stopped by for my first time and absolutely loved the boutique! La Bella had the cutest clothes… and shoes. When I stopped by yesterday, they were having a pretty big sale 50% off. I bought a pair of flats that were between ballet flats and moccasins. I guess the story behind them is that a ballerina designed them for everyday use. Really super cute and comfy and 50% off, what more could you ask for??? The girl working in the store was also really friendly and helpful. which of course, is a plus!

I could drive to LA to hit the everyone-goes-there shops, but I find myself gravitating back to La Bella for their ever changing collections of hip and chic pieces from Loeffler Randall to amo & bretti to Marlova to 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent. While the clothes(AND shoes AND jewelery) are always amazing, it’s the customer service that keeps my coming back. The owners are hands-on which is evident in every detail. It also feels like a treat to have a seamstress on site. So old school!

They say you are either born with great style or you shop at La Bella! «Impeccable» is how I would describe the selection in this store. The owners know what they are doing. The clothing and shoes within are simply gorgeous. Is it expensive? Sure. But prices like these are to be expected from indie designers working with high quality fabrics. Cashmere, silk, lace, leather. Their merchandise falls within the same price point as any top-end LA boutique, fashion website, or even larger chains, such as Anthropologie.(Yes, I’ve compared!!!) The owners are not needlessly marking up the clothing. And the quality, design, etc., is fantastic, so you get what you pay for. If you are working within a budget – and aren’t we all – I would recommend going when they have sales, which is frequently.
