Brought home a lovely baby ball python from this place. We went in kind of late but the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all our questions and helped us a pick a good reptile for beginners.

I love this place i bought two bearded dragons from him and they are healthy and very active he is a very friendly guy who answers all questions to his best… i would recommend this place to everyone…

Bryan knows his reptiles and completely surprised me with his box turtle knowledge. Not only did he have pure bred eastern box turtles, pure ornate and 3 toes but he also has there parents there and present to be seen. He knows his reptiles and I had no issue with driving quite aways to find jtk reptiles. It was definitely worth it

I really liked this shop. I had been to a couple other reptile stores before coming here and what set JTK apart was the shop owner Bryan whom you could really tell absolutely loves his reptiles. I was looking for a bearded dragon because mine has recently passed away from what could be summed up as Petco’s choice in bad breeders. Bryan was able to assure me that the Beardie I took home was well breed because he actually breed him himself. He was also very understanding about the grief I was feeling over the loss of my previous friend. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a reptile friend!

JT K is the worst reptile store I’ve ever been to in my life they don’t work with you and the rules are terrible I do not recommend this reptile store at allbecause we had a female and we were looking for a Nother female leopard gecko and we ended up getting a male because the guy does not know how to Sex his Leopard geckos instead of giving us a female he gave us male and said it wasn’t a female The guy argued with us and said she lay eggs the other day The guy gave us another leopard gecko but she was very skinny the guy sucks overall so I write a very very very bad review about JT K reptiles where the people that came in so you know who we are this is why we gave you a shitty review a piece of shit he rushed us out and he said it would be the last time he would help us in the store the guy doesn’t help anybody

I believe the guy behind the counter was the owner. He was very knowledgable and answered a lot of questions that I had. Great selection of snakes and other reptiles. They all look like they are kept clean conditions and the feeder mice and rats look to be in a nice set up. I would definitely recommend this to any person looking to buy a reptile for the first time As they will steer you in the right direction.

Love this place… Bryan is a great and amazing person also the staff are great .and he really knows his stuff a must stop shop for reptiles an supplies amazing person to work with … really cares about his reptiles. Jtk Reptile is the best store ever. I live in North lb and this is my #1 reptile store. The owner (Bryan) is so friendly and helpful he goes out of his way to make sure ur satisfied with ur purchase and answers all the questions u can possibly have. What I like the most is that he take his time with each and every one of his customers every time I go to his store even if it’s just to buy worms I end up staying for hours. He has the most gorgeous reptiles. I bought 2 chameleons 1 Leopard gecko and a dog. ^_^

Love this place, they have the best selection of reptiles. I’m so happy with my pair of Timor monitors and pair of blue tongu e skinks. I’m never disappointed with the selection of quality reptiles and the knowledgeable owner. Def a reptile store you can trust ;) I def look forward in continuing business and buying more reptiles soon

Bryan is an excellent reptile distributer. I have been to reptile expos before and bought reptiles elsewhere and have never felt more confident with a purchase of a new member to my family. Definitely the most knowledgable seller of reptiles I have ever seen and made me feel very welcome in his store. I was very lucky to purchase a reptile from him and highly recommend him and his reptiles to any reptile lover or new comer to owning a reptile. Thanks Bryan.

This place was great! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the reptiles. He takes great care of them! We were in there for hours with two children trying to decide what we wanted so he is also very patient and tries to help in any way possible! We ended up buying a boa which we love.

Bryan at JTK Reptiles is AWESOME and his animals are just as great! My cousins and I were visiting from out of town this week from Chicago and Bryan was super welcoming and allowed us to meet his reptiles and a few other critters. All of the animals were healthy and super comfortable while be handled by all of us. You can tell that Bryan truly has a passion for his animals and takes pride in what he does. Next time I am in Long Beach, I will be visiting again! Thanks again Bryan!

Visiting here from NorCal and have never been to a greater reptile store. You can totally tell the owner cares for every reptile in his shop.

I work full-​time for a busy law firm in Lakewood, California. The other secretary with whom I work brings her doggie to work and she takes him for a walk every few hours. When she came back in, she held out her hand (I was really afraid it was going to be something gross, but then I realized she wouldn’t have picked it up if it was), and when she opened her hand there was a baby red-​eared slider (turtle). It was obvious that someone dumped him out there. I named him Fred because the doggie’s name is Barney (if you don’t get it, quit reading).
Anyway one of the attorneys for whom I work has a leopard gecko in his office, so he just happened to have a little plastic (portable) terrarium for me to borrow. I knew my best friend would take him, but I didn’t know when, so when I got off work at 7:00 PM (one of my twelve hour days –_​_​_​_​_​_​-​) I went straight to JTK. The place was a little hard to find, at least for me, but the guy in the store came out and was flagging me down when I called and said I was having trouble locating his shop. What a nice guy! And it gave me a chance to show off my car, hehe.
The gentleman who owns the store was very helpful. I have worked with animals my whole life, but am not really familiar with reptiles. I purchased sand so that he would have a beach, as well as some pellets because, as I surmised, Fred is a baby! I also purchased something for him to hide under (a really cute mock log) and some greenery. I took him home and before I even had time to set him up, my best friend arrived from Whittier and took everything (and Fred) and took him home. Fred is very happy in the BIG aquarium she has for turtles, and I’m thankful for the guy at the reptile store for helping me out on such short notice.
If I ever find another reptile (or adopt one of my own), I will definitely be back!

Went to 7 different locations just to find the right colors for a new crested gecko
This was the only place within a 20 mile radius that had amazing choices plus the owner is awesome
Takes pride in what he does which made my experience 10 times better

JTK Reptiles is a great place for reptiles and their care. that is if you are into snakes lizards iguanas. I on the other hand came in a panic for a screen cage for my monarch catepillars. I came for a terrarium but went home with a smile and a new (assembled by JTK) screen cage.
My catepillars love there new home and I love JTK.
Wonderful customer service and open late.
