My then boyfriend (now husband!) and I sought out Jeff’s help over three years ago when we had some struggles after we moved in together! As a therapist myself I knew that it was important to find someone that both my husband and I were comfortable with, along with someone who was educated and experienced!
Our time spent working with Jeff has been nothing short of extraordinary. Since beginning to work with Jeff, we have gotten engaged, gotten married, gotten pregnant, and had a baby girl! Jeff has helped us significantly with our communication, and coping with life’s ups and downs. Even now we still go in to see him for check ins when we feel the need for his help!
Jeff listens, is relatable, intelligent, compassionate and empathetic. We cannot recommend his help enough if you are considering working with a therapist! His focus is not on money, but rather helping you, listening, and supporting you! There really is nothing better in a therapist, and my husband and I really attribute so much of our personal growth and successes to Jeff’s help!

My husband and I have been seeing Jeff on and off for 2 years. I can’t express enough how much he has helped us both get to a better place! He is very welcoming and comfortable, without judgment, and addresses issues with care and attention. He has helped us understand, respect, and validate each other, he has improved the way we communicate to one another (God knows that needed a lot of work!), and with his ability to understand us as individuals and as a couple, he has taught us how to effectively approach/​handle each other successfully. I love that we talk about solutions and then sends us home with «homework» to work on until we discuss the outcomes at our next meeting. His insight has opened our eyes to see things differently, in which we could have never done on our own. We respectfully consider him our «Dad of Wisdom.» Haha!
We’re proud to refer Jeff to people we meet, our friends and family, whether their problems are big or small. Jeff may not be a miracle pill, BUT I guarantee that if you put in the work with him, you will get everything out of it that you want and more!!!

Sometimes you need some help in your life to get over the hurdles. Relationships can be a mine field. Out of desperation, I searched the internet for a therapist who dealt with couples and was in our area. My search lead me to Jeff Salinas. I emailed him and he called me immediately. The MU and I started seeing him a couple times a month for an extended period of time. We both have traumas from childhood and would shut down emotionally rather than deal with problems that arise between us.
Although I’d seen a therapist years ago for my own issues, this was a new experience dealing with someone else’s emotional baggage. We both connected with Jeff immediately. He makes his clients feel at ease and is never condescending or judgmental. I appreciated his ability to provide perspicacious insight into my/​our actions and motivations. We both work during the day, and he has convenient evening hours to accommodate his clients. I also saw him individually several times to undergo EMDR therapy to help me through some issues from childhood.
I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you’re looking for individual or couples counseling and want someone who can be direct, honest and still caring, Jeff is amazing. He literally saved my relationship and I’ll always appreciate him.
