Came here for one thing shakes and they could not even get that right. My husband kept saying I’m getting a lot of chunks as did I and noticed that the texture was super rough not the typical smooth mixture of a vanilla shake that you would think. As we kept drinking we started to notice the taste of butter was really strong. When my husband spit a little chunk out sure enough there it was a blob of butter. I think the shakes may have been just a bit over churned!!! Anyways, now I know the place to avoid when I have a late night shake craving, as this place just cannot cut even the basics. I didn’t even bother finished my shake because just the texture alone being all weird and rough made me feel grossed out and I am really not into drinking chunks of butter in a milkshake. Jack in the box milkshakes ain’t brining no boys to the yard for sure!!!

Went there and used my Super Bowl coupon for a FREE Double Jack. 2 ¼ lb patties, large amount of LEAF lettuce, 2 slices of tomatoes, chopped onions and Jack’s secret sauce. Regular price would have been $ 5.19. Also got a Vanilla Coke since they have the NEW Coke machines that give you over 100 choices.

Wish I could give ½ star. Workers were so mean to me. They whisper in Spanish mean things. Telling all my friends never to come here. Krappe one the toilet

Greasy greasy greasy ! Typical of old locations and this one has someone’s life story scratched into the sinks and toilet seats as well as all the worn ugly wood chairs. The people who work there are always unattractive looking rarely smile and prefer communicating to one another in Spanish in front of customers. Local homeless bums spend more time there then customers and employees could care less. That green tarp thing on wheels pictured in Jacks parking lot is some guys house and he’s been parking it there day and night for two month’s now. Kind of depressing place really but they do have WiFi and from a distance the place looks nice.

I’ve tried here 3 times now, 2 out of those 3 times they’ve gotten my order completely wrong. I order a buttery burger combo, they give me one of the regular burger combos. They’ve done that twice. Get it together! This place never seems to be busy though. The food is ok, but I don’t believe they’re completely sanitary as I get sick every time after too. Will probably start trying the McDonalds down the street instead.

The bread was so dry I couldn’t fathom to finish my burger, I asked about the wifi since there are signs that state free usage and I was brushed off. I love jack in the box but this one needs improvement.

Passable fast food joint. If you don’t have better options, looking for a break from your usual, or only have $ 5, then this might be the place for you. This is the closet burger joint to my workplace, and I occasionally come here if I have a craving for a burger – or for one of the reasons I mentioned above. It’s convenient and pretty cheap. It could be cleaner. It’s not that there is trash all over and you can see rats or roaches, it’s just that they don’t wipe down the tables, sweep or mop often enough. It is noticeable and effects the overall impression of the place. It’s because of this that I typically get my food to go, unless I’m starving and need to scarf something down stat! I like their sourdough Jack and curly fries. My nephews and others I know love their tacos, but I’ve never tried them. I come for burgers and don’t think of Mexican food when I come here, but maybe I’m missing out from being so narrow minded here? I think I like their shakes here more than anything else, and the fact that you can get food from their breakfast menu all day. Occasionally I’ll have a craving for a breakfast burrito or croissant sandwich. Wait, did I just contradict my earlier statement about not thinking of Mexican food when I come here? No, I think it is that a breakfast burrito is more universally available at all types of eateries than tacos are.

The food here is on par with other Jack’s, but there was one element that really grossed me out. While I was waiting for my order to come out, I walked over to fill my soda and noticed that there were gnats flying all over the area. I was swatting at them left and right while filing up my coke. THEN when my order was called, I walked up to the pick up counter there were gnats there too! What gives? This was late morning so it’s not like they had been open all day & waste had built up. Needless to say, I think I’ll be going to another Jack in the Box from here on out. Or at least just stick to the drive through.

This location gets pretty busy around lunch due to its proximity to LBCC, LGB, and nearby corporate. Even with the crowds I never really had a problem with the service or orders. Occasionally you will be hit up for money if you eat in the dining area.

The Jumbo Breakfast Platter is really good. Very filling and plenty of food. This Jack in the Box restaurant is clean and nicely decorated.

Used my birthday email for 2 free tacos. This is the Jack’s I normally go to since it is close to home. Never have a problem with my order. Food comes out fast considering they serve breakfast all day.

Most fast food is very, very bad for you. So bad I hesitate to call it food. More like a heavily flavored food substitute. But this Jack-in-the-Box has a turkey and egg-white breakfast sandwich that’s pretty good. Even had ripe tomato.

Drive thur #182 Emp Manuel 12:58:58am I order a Munchie Meal and watch as Manuel who packaged my food and also Handel money. As he was placing the mix fries in my box I notice home touch a frie that was out of the bin place it back where you scoop fries and after he placed the fries in my box I watched him push the mix fries down using his bare hands. I found that to be very unsanitary. After touching money which is very very dirty why would you think it is ok to touch food. I would understand if he was wearing gloves but that wasn’t the case. Also to place a frie back in to the bin using your hands makes it even more disgusting to think I would eat something they touch. I did not eat the meal I only had the soft drink. It is very upsetting and disappointing to know that cleanness and practicing of proper food handling isn’t part of the training. I would like a full refund of my money. I do not see my self dinning for a quick bite at Jack in the Box any time soon. Please don’t let this go unlooked. People can get sick and it isn’t pleasent to know someone is touching food that will enter our bodies. It was very disturbing to see this happen. Thank you for your time. My visit was # 175182 please refund my money. I paid $ 6.98 and only drank the large coke. Please feel free to minus that from my transaction.

Good food in a pinch. I’m not a huge fast food fan, but this place is quick to get fresh, hot food ready for you, and it doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around for hours either. While the foot-traffic that frequents this Jack In The Box location consists mostly of rambunctious teenagers, I suppose it is to be expected as it it in close proximity to Long Beach City College. For this reason, if I visit this establishment, I go through the drive-thru.

Got a chicken fajita pita. Instead of sliced grilled chicken, a chicken strip. No tomatoes or onions. Instead of shredded cheddar cheese, two slices of american cheese that had been smooshed to the bottom of the of the broken pita and smooshed together to make the sandwhich taste like a full pack of Kraft singles. Jacks? Before you decide to create a new sandwich, run it thru your company and just give me what I ordered. And if you want my opinion… that sandwich wont make the cut

First! You have to understand is this is near the airport, this is near the city college, this is near some businesses! So you have to expect delays, and large lines at times! The crew here always seem to do their best to get you in and out with out any delays! jack in the crack is always a good alternative to a regular restaurant. My favorites has always been their Spicy Jack Chicken Sandwich, or Tacos! I really like the freshness of their tomatoes on their chicken sandwich! Try it if you haven’t yet!

I started coming to this Jacks since I started my 1st semester at college. The place is small and it seems like its owned by a mexican family. They have lation workers and are always quick to help you. They always treat me nicely and I must say it is one of the smallest locations Ive been to.

A pretty nice location with good service. Jack in the Box in general is great for a lot of variety(and all of it being pretty good) and nice prices and obviously that’s the same here. The only downside is that this is next to the college AND an airport along with a lot of businesses, and so can get really busy at times, but as long as you don’t go during the very peak hours it’s as fast as anywhere else. They do occasionally get the order wrong(usually in unimportant ways, like a small instead of a medium), and sometimes the screen to show your order in the drive thru is broken, but aside that the staff is usually nice and the food good quality. The biggest issue for me personally is getting to and from it, it’s in a strange spot and the only ways out are all kind of a pain in the butt. I’d say the location on Atlantic has higher quality food more often. A lot of the times the curly fries and things like that at this one will be a bit over or undercooked, while this hasn’t been an issue at the other location in my experience. Nothing amazing or special, it’s Jack in the Box as you’d expect it to be.

When I’m hungry and don’t feel like going to McD’s, I tend to gravitate towards Jack in the Box. Why, you ask? Well, I think it’s the fact that they serve breakfast all day & night. They are also open 24 hours on certain days, and open at 6am on non 24 hour days. When I’m getting breakfast at 5am on Saturday mornings, the employees are always friendly and quick. The Breakfast Jack’s are my favorite, without cheese and adding mayo. I’m not sure how much Jack in the Box spent putting those card readers outside the drive-thru window, but they never work or the employee tells you they’ll take it. I asked, and supposedly it’s disconnected. Otherwise, this is a solid location.
