Dog lovers watch out! You will go to doggie heaven and possibly lose your mind trying to take in what you will see here! What an awesome event! I have been wanting to go here for years and finally I made it! I am a dog lover… so honestly I was easy to please. Everywhere I looked my 4 legged furry friends were passing by me, dressed in the most outrageous costumes! But the best part of this event was their owners matched them! I have seen dog costume contest before but never where people did such an amazing job matching their pup. People built spaceships, boats, all kinds of props to go with the costumes. My pictures describe this event best! I think I posted 100 pictures or more. There were several booths but I didn’t stop at them, none of them caught my eye enough. But people might enjoy them. Parking wasn’t too bad. We had to park really far, but the truth is it only took 5 minutes to walk it. And it’s just a walk. Only bad thing is this event was listed at another park(address) than it was at. We were lucky to run into people who knew where it was and told us where to go

Took Monkey(my Pit) dressed as a dragon. Cute as Hell. Grips of people showed up to walk, display their babies(dogs & kids) & spectate. Love that entrance fees double as donation. Parking becomes scarce fast along main road lining park & fills in quickly along side streets. Small selection of adoption agency & dogs. Booths mostly informational; minimal shopping for doggy accessory/food/treat/toy. Pitifully meager drink/food vendor. So hungry! I would’ve dropped $ 10 for a hot dog & a cola without hesitation. The venue could’ve made a Hell of a lot more $ if food vendors were available. 4*=lack if food & shopping. Will return.

Lots of people attended and lots of vendor representation this year. This event is getting bigger and bigger. Awesome weather was a huge plus too! I missed most of the parade but it was wonderful to meet so many dogs and dog owners. Parking was a nightmare. Note to self, arrive early for best parking!
