The muffins and breakfast items are yummy! BUT I had an iced mocha this morning and they steamed the milk then poured it over ice??? I was in a hurry so I couldn’t question the Batista. It was a weird concept to me and my drink was chalky tasting!!! I guess I’ll stick to hot drinks!

This little café is worth the trip for their café mocha and buttery croissant. Even though I haven’t tried the rest of their pastries it looks promising when they can create such delicious croissant. The few interactions I had with their staff have been nothing but pleasant and attentive. I recommend paying them a visit if you’re looking for good coffee and good pastries. Parking– There is a lack of free parking and so far I have found available metered parking for a short stay, but if you’re planning to stay longer I recommend parking in the Bank of America parking garage I believe is free for a longer period and cheaper if they do charge.

Strolling around in LB, and decided to make a stop here after seeing macaroons on the Unilocal page. Parking on a one way street, 2 hours max. For 12 in the afternoon, the café was almost half full. The macaroons cost $ 1.50 each and did not disappoint! I got the vietnamese coffee and fruity pebbles. Vietnamese coffee has the perfect texture and they put condensed milk in the middle of the macaroon, which surprised me! Great macaroons. The cashier was also very friendly and patient with me! Will come again when I’m in the city.

I always get the Cajun chicken sandwich and it’s always so tasty and filling. I’ve had it with croissant and sourdough and sourdough was the best. Comes with a yummy green salad and potato salad. The chocolate croissant is also very good. The staff is always so attentive and sweet you won’t be disappointed.

Why is this place not located in the heart of the East Village Arts District? A wonderful place with delicious pastries. Great morning spot. A must try for anyone on the fence. Worth checking out!

Decided to try this place today for my weekly treat. My sister had the pumpkin cheesecake and I had the plain. She really enjoyed hers and rated it a 3.5. On the other hand, how can I rate a plain cheesecake. I gave it a 2. The cheesecake was creamy but not to sweet and the crust was a little bland. Not bad but I had better! Will go back and try something else, then maybe I can give this little place a better rating.

Not crazy about the coffee but the pastries are where it’s at! Cream cheese muffin sound rich? You’re right, it is, but you should live a little and eat one. Butter croissant? Yes please! I would recommend coming here in the morning around opening time. Everything is coming out of the oven hot and fresh and the crowd is small. Out of towners staying near the convention center need not travel far(two blocks) and can get a tastier, cheaper breakfast here.

Nice little place, close too the court of Long Beach. A lot of the places around the area only take cash so I found one that took card. One of the bad things of this place is the Peking situation. I had to park at a lot in front of the location. And the lot that seems to belong too a hotel or some event place. This place is an intimate location that seems to have the essentials in coffee. European and American coffee. They also seem to have n array of lunch items such as sandwiches and other items. They have a plethora of pastries such as muffins, macaroons. Not a bad place to have a coffee. I had a Red Eye with their European Blend and 2 shots of espresso.

Came in with a friend, who is a frequent customer. First thing that caught my eye were the macaroons. I purchased the salted caramel, chocolate, red velvet and Vietnamese coffee. All delicious. I would definitely come back again for sure and try some of the sandwiches. Owners and staff were very friendly, family owned.

We ordered two breakfast sandwiches(egg, Swiss cheese and deli ham on white toasted bread) and two blended mochas. This is by far the best blended mocha I have ever had. The taste is still really strong and not washed out from using too much ice. Only downside is, it’s pretty warm inside the restaurant so my mocha is literally melting as I wrote this. 16 $ for all four items plus a hash brown which was really just a huge waffle fry. Will definitely return.

Came here for lunch. I always heard about their pastries so that drew me in, since they offered sandwiches I picked up a turkey club. Every sandwich can either come standard, toasted, or pressed into a panini. I opted for the panini press but it didn’t come out as crispy as I expected. Sandwiches come with potato salad and a small spinach salad, a nice little bonus I wasn’t expecting. The bacon was thick cut and really crispy though! The cookie was really soft and cakey, had good taste, but I like mine more chewy. Overall nothing stood out.

Cute place. Good amount of seating. I came after 12:30 and most of the pastries were gone. That’s a good sign I guess. I was really wanting a cookie but didn’t see any so I went with a macaroon which has specific directions on it. Let it warm to room temperature. Wow. It was a bite of strawberry heaven! I’ll have to stop back in for a sandwich next time

I love to walk to local coffee/breakfast places in the morning with my dog. now that I’ve been to a few, I feel like I am getting a good grasp on what the better places are. Doly’s Delectables is now at the top of my list of places to eat breakfast. Not only is the food absolutely delicious(and rather inexpensive), the staff is very warm and friendly as well. I was standing outside with my dog and one of the employees unexpectedly brought my order to me when it is was ready. The food is simple yet fantastic. I would recommend the Iced Blended Mocha and the breakfast sandwich. I will definitely be going back many many times.

No parking place … 5 $ if you find a spot. First thing i noticed it was empty, they had for display only 3 cupcakes and 5 butter croissants. A cashier older lady(probably manager) was anxious and making me choose something without letting me think. I asked if they do art latte and she replied no very impolite with a plain face. I didn’t order anything and left. If you want a whatever coffee i guess this is the place you should come.

I came here some time ago because Unilocal keeps talking about their croissants, so I decided to try them out. They were great! A perfect combination of butter, taste, and softness that pleases the tongue. However, what won me over are the macarons. The Vietnamese condensed milk macarons are the best of them all! It’s smooth and very sweet which complements my coffee. It also has a relaxing atmosphere that is good for those like me wanting to forget the world into a bliss of relaxation.

After a visit to George’s Greek restaurant in Long Beach, we sauntered over to DoLy’s Delectables for a peek at their macarons that I just happened to know were there. I, like many others, am on a quest to find the«best» macaron. My search has taken me coast to coast, and I fear the search will be neverending… but that’s okay. I continue to tell myself they’re «healthy.» Gluten free, monosaturated fats(from ground almonds), smaller size… so less sugar. Is that all true? Maybe yes, maybe no, but the search goes on. DoLy’s is a cute little shop, which sells a variety of croissants, muffins, and macarons. While they had a large display of macarons, they didn’t necessarily have much to choose from based upon all the other items they list on their website. I saw a couple of croissant-like items and some muffins, but that was pretty much the extent of what was available today. I believe they may even sell breakfast and lunch foods, too, but we didn’t see any, nor were we focused on that, either. They have beverages, as well, and a nice area with a decent amount of tables to sit at if you want to eat right there. We came for the macarons, and macarons we saw. There must’ve been about 20 flavors available. I would have preferred to have each flavor labeled. Instead, scribbled on a little 3×5 piece of paper were the flavors they offered… and when I say scribbled, I mean it… plus the writing was microscopic and was written in different felt pen colors. I didn’t want to go digging for my glasses, so I squinted only to find I couldn’t read the list and had the girl read them to me. I still wish each flavor was identified. In the end, I didn’t see/hear any unique flavors like those found in NYC, but they still had a solid assortment of standard flavors to choose from, such as(let’s see how good my memory is)… Rose Lavender Violet Coffee Cinnamon(well, okay, this was is relatively unique and haven’t seen elsewhere) Tiramisu(okay, so my memory sucks… this one is kinda unique too) Passionfruit Coconut Salted Caramel(MAJORBOO-HOO… they were OUTOFTHIS today !!) Blueberry Chocolate Strawberry Raspberry Vanilla Lemon Hazelnut Green Tea Of those, my husband and I split one each of Cinnamon, Tiramisu, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry Vanilla, Hazelnut and Lemon. They were good, but they weren’t my favorite by a longshot. I was intrigued by the texture. When I first bit into them, I thought they were going to be too hard and chewy, but then, they evolved into a nice, very slightly chewy, and even rather soft texture. I think overall, I’d still prefer something softer, more melt-in-your-mouth(yes, like ‘Lette), but these weren’t bad. As for the flavors, well, I didn’t think they were strong on flavor. In fact, I had trouble telling sometimes what they were by taste, yet, because I knew what I had purchased, it was more an afterthought… «this is the lemon… oh yeah, NOW I taste it.» Yet, it wasn’t necessarily evident by taste alone. If that makes sense. I could tell right away which one the cinnamon was, but I wasn’t all that impressed. Were it not for the faint sprinkling of cinnamon on top, I probably wouldn’t have guessed. As for the other flavors we tasted, again, they were good, just not great. I didn’t get to taste the salted caramel, which most rave about, so I don’t know if that’s the one that would make me swoon. I’m undecided if I’d go back again when in the area(as infrequent as that is). We’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, I’m glad I went and tried their macaron offerings. Definitely decent, just not swooning over them.

DoLy’s is a great lil spot to sip on a cup of joe or grab a great pastry in Long Beach. My favorites are the almond cream cheese croissant with a caramel macchiato and macarons to go. The croissant is flaky and soft and the cream cheese is a great creamy addition. But my favorite is their Vietnamese coffee macarons with the condensed milk filling, it is absolutely to die for. Omg… so sweet and creamy. I know that they are smaller than macarons at other places but I do love the flavors they have and the smooth texture. The cookie is crisp on the outside but soft and creamy in the middle. They are on the sweeter side but that is perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth. There are plenty of tables to sit at and enjoy your pastries and coffee. Service is always on point with everyone being so nice and friendly which makes this a great place to go. There is metered parking right in front and I’ve never had a problem finding a spot.

The macaroons are good ! I’m not even a big fan of macaroons but I still try them out. The macaroons were not too sweet! And they make a pretty good caramel macchiato! Definitely a place to stop by and give a chance! And the servers are sweet!

The Parking Location right next to Doly is $ 10, but drive around your bound to find FREE street parking! I read that the croissants and macaroons were the fan favorite so I made sure to get a load of it. The almond croissant indeed was feeling and buttery, and the macaroons that I tried were the Salted Caramel(always a good thing) and the Vietnamese Coffee! This is the first time I tried Vietnamese coffee in a macaroon and I liked it! Over all good experience, thats why they have 4 and a half star with over 1000 of reviews!

Where do I even begin? This is one of my favorite spots in Long Beach. I am a frequent customer, because I often drop in on my way to work or school. Let me share with you a few reasons why DoLy’s is AMAZING! First, and most important, the food is awesome. DoLy’s is famous for their macaroons(with good reason), but the rest of their baked goods are excellent as well! My favorites are the butter croissant and the chocolate chip muffin — it’s always difficult for me to choose which one I want! Also, DoLy’s has great coffee drinks that go great with any breakfast. Next, the store itself is adorable, with a Parisian vibe to compliment the array of French desserts. As a college student, I love coming here with my laptop to study, so I can have coffee and a snack while I work. Also, DoLy’s is a great place to stop on your way to work if you just want to pick something up fast while you are on your way. Lastly, the owners and workers at this café are kind and friendly. They will always greet you with a smile, and have a lot of patience when you cannot decide which delicious treat you want to buy. Do yourself a favor and and give it a try!
