Went in through the drive thru. I was great, the staff was fast and friendly. I was in and out no problem. I did notice the homeless in the front of the eatery though. Use the drive thru instead.

I have usually enjoyed my visits to Del Taco. This morning I was in the area and decided to try out their breakfast offerings at this location. First, this is the only place I have ever been to that offers breakfast that doesn’t offer decaf coffee. For medical reasons I cannot have caffeine, so substituting lemonade for coffee for breakfast was not ideal. I had ordered an egg, cheese and sausage burrito. I assumed the ingredients would be mixed, but instead I got a burrito where the first half was sausage and the tortilla and then the second half was the eggs, cheese and sauce. Do have to say the hashbrown sticks were good. I will continue to visit Del Tacos for lunch/dinner but will not be back for breakfast

The most cleanest, organized and friendly staff around. I have been to several Del Tacos in S. Cal and this would have to b the nicest. I will be back and definitely share my experience with friends. Keep up the great work!!!

Do not go here late! Daytime seems to be halfway decent. The fact that they screwed up an order of «3 crunchy tacos with extra meat and no lettuce» shows how inept they are. I do not at all recommend this spot for a midnight snack

Hmmmm. which inexpensive taco is better? Taco Bell or Del taco? If you ask a 12 year old, most will pick TB. They can’t articulate why, but just think it’s better. When it comes down food quality– Del cooks their own beans from scratch, TB beans are dehydrated tech marvels. Can you really tell the difference? I am guilty of using both of these cheap eats brands, occasionally. Usually an occasion of convenience, strapped for time. They do deliver on flavor and quick service, so as far as meeting expectations del taco does a decent job. I do like their green sauce in a bean and cheese burrito now and then but don’t trust them enough to get their shredded beef or carnitas. Like any chain it depends on the location as it can be a crap shoot on what comes out of that drive through window.

The food at this Del Taco is ok, but it is not always a great place to visit. there is almost always a somewhat slow line for the drive through, and there are plenty of places to sit inside but there is usually no place to park in the lot. On a few occasions, I have not gotten the right order from the drive through, and the folks inside will correct it, but it comes with a lot of attitude. There seems to be a lot of employees standing around with not enough to do, which makes me wonder why it is so hard to get the orders right.

it’s dangerous to have a Del Taco within walking distance from home. I just discovered their breakfast Taco, breakfast quesadilla and the break fast burrito which I cannot remember the name. I never knew you could substitute the type of meat that they put in them. Well now that just put a big smile on my face. Of course my all time favorite is their regular taco. Taco Bell is across the street from Del Taco and Taco Bell just does not hold a candle up against Del Taco.

I came here almost once a week for one of my semesters in college. The drive through is usually quick and the people are nice. I typically get the Classic Chicken Burrito just because it’s just the right amount of food for me lil self. I don’t know if it’s any healthier than Taco Bell but for some reason I don’t feel as awful afterward!

Crunchtada is not so much crunch, more like stale cardboard. Sorry Del Taco, you missed the boat on this one. My item had beef only on one side, the other side was beefless. The tostada shell was chipped off and while it was crunchy around the edges, the middle(80% of it) was like tough cardboard. Going back to Taco Bell across the street the next time I was fast Mexican food. G

Open all the time, a lot less crowded than the one in seal beach!

I am a fan of Del Taco… especially this one. It is clean and consistent. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed my meal. Its fast food but their chicken soft tacos are the best in the fast food world.

They are okay. Sometimes line is long even late at night. Occasionally the workers seem like they would rather be somewhere else but other than that they get the job done… most of the time.

A staple for late Tuesdays on the way home or breakfast on the way to work. Figure I must review this fine dining establishment… My favorites… 6 tacos onTuesdays. 3 regular and 3 soft. Put the regulars inside the soft, top with your favorite hot soft and enjoy… 2 bacon breakfast burritos, no sauce. The sauce gives me heartburn in the morning… Ta da. :-D

Filling, huge bean burritos(ie. lunch) for 99 cents a pop? I can’t beat that for a deal. The food is good and filling and the service here is great for fast food. The food comes up quickly and you can watch it being made while you wait. They seem to have one person dedicated to cleaning(bathrooms, floors, tables, counters) and that’s all she does which means this place is pretty decent. They are always happy to make«special order» burritos for my preschooler(½ beans, ½ cheese, no sauce) and she also leaves full. Knowing that they have lard free beans is great for my peace of mind. The only down side of this place is the location… they share a parking lot with Starbucks, a frozen yogurt place, a pizza place, and I think another fast food place. Parking is usually at a premium here. There are also a lot of questionable people that seem to congregate here(and while I haven’t ever had a problem or anything, it’s a little uncomfortable at times…). But other than that, it’s easy when I am hungry.

who bothers to Unilocal a del taco for reviews on what exciting/unique things to try? Its a typical fast food chain on the lower tier of yumminess(INO is on the upper). Lets move to what I really wanna cover… The soda machine. I used to make fun of the soda machine here cuz its one of those«100+ drink choices» machines that looks like a red box at albertsons but it has a coke logo on it. Theres only one spout, a handle to push for ice, a touchscreen of options, and a big fat button that says push(that dispenses the selected drink). The screen has 22 drinks including water. I originally thought the trick was to mix your own drink like burger king features. I laughed at it because a good portion of the selections are just diet versions of the regular drinks so they’re not really a «different» drink. So you initially select a basic/general drink choice like Sprite/Bargs/Coke/etc and the touchscreen will center on that drink. Heres the cool part. Below/surrounding the enlarged«base» drink will be these smaller bubble options of different flavored versions of that«base» drink. YEAAWOWW! For example lets take you selected Coke. [tap on coke] [screen refreshes to a big centered bubble saying coke w/smaller bubbles around it]…[they read… raspberry coke, cherry coke, cherry vanilla coke, vanilla coke, orange coke, lime coke…] YEALIMECOKE! so for people that love a lime hard candy, a limecicle, or a water with a slice of lime when they eat out… yes do visit to try this funky awesome machine. it comes out with a hint of green too which also amuses me.

I like the fact that Taco Bell is right across the street! Del Taco is way better than Taco Bell by a large margin. This one is centrally located for the CSULB students which is a good idea because college are all about«cheap eats». Keep doing what your doing Del Taco. A good fast food taco spot.

The closest Del Taco to the CSULB campus! And yes, the one right across the street from a Taco Bell. I come here for late-night-food-run-adventures! The drive-thru is usually busy, so if you want, stop being lazy and go inside and order because it is always empty in there! They have quick service and the ½lb bean and cheese burritos are always on point. Great place for college kids on a budget!

So there’s Del Taco on one corner and then directly across the street there is a Taco Bell. I don’t know about you, but that makes me nervous like there’s going to be a revolutionary battle between the two sides one of these days. Just know that if there is one, my allegiances are with Del Taco. I’m down with the DT son!

Coming off a great day of «having it my way,» I guess I was channelling bossy Lisa — I asked if I could get a bean and rice burrito — Sure Can! for a buck fifty! Of course I decided to push my luck and I ordered 2 chicken soft tacos with No Secret Sauce — Sure Can was the answer. I don’t know how often other Unilocalers ask how a place that is selling dollar food can and will go to the extent of taking special requests when places(FO) that charge $ 10 — $ 20 a head won’t or can’t make food to the BUYERS requests. And again, this location did what they said, and served up my snack-run food just the way I ordered it.
