Normally I want to give a place a second chance when I have bad service or a bad experience, because sometimes its just a fluke. However, this place after thinking about my initial visit made me realize that I would be a fool to come here again. When I first arrived to this salon there was a wait, which was no big deal since i was a walk-in. I waited about 10 – 15 mins to get a spot at the spa pedicure chair. As soon as i put my foot in I had to take it out because the water was scalding hot. They lady never tested it, seen my reaction and said«too hot?», I told her it was and she felt and had to pull her arm out and had the same reaction that I had. After awhile the woman named Tina continued with my pedicure, a woman other than Tina convinced me to get the gel polish instead of the regular. I thought about it and agreed. Yet, she got mad because I wouldnt get a gel manicure with it. I told her«sorry, but not today» and she rolled her eyes and said that it was ok. The pushiness that this woman put on the customers was crazy. And she came off very rude. Idk if it was a language barrier or what. One thing that really bugged me about this nail shop was the sanitation policy that maybe lacking. Normally when I go into a salon and get a pedicure or manicure, I see the workers get new or lightly used but disinfected equipment out. I seen things pulled off a cart and placed back only to be used later on someone else and never once when I was there see the equipment placed in a jar of disinfectant, or new equipment for that matter. It really scares me because I got cut on a couple of my toes with the nail files and buffers they used. When I left I thought I had some cash in my purse for a tip to give to Tina but miscalculated and realized I didnt leave the house with enough. I had planned on going back the next day to give her the tip that she deserved, however now that I noticed the gel french tip job she did on my toes is horribly crooked and i have cuts all along my toes, I wont be going back. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else that will do a better job for the price you are going to pay.

First I want to start off by saying that I haven’t reviewed a business in a LONG time, but felt this one was deserved. I went in during a time where they had a promo for a full set priced at $ 15.99– not going to lie, I was hesitant. But this place is a 4 minute walk from my place and with the price, I decided to give it a shot. I was seen right away and the woman who did my nails(wasn’t Ivy, but wished I got her name before I left) was very pleasant and focused. She did an awesome job and made sure to ask if I was happy with my nail shape, filing, etc. Like someone mentioned in another review, it is definitely a hole in the wall. And if you’re looking for a more serene, relaxing, spa like setting, this isn’t the place for you. But the service is still exceptional and I will continue to come here for my nail services from here on out. I also want to add that I was not the only one having services done. There were about 4 – 5 bail techs, all working very hard– there was even a wait at one point. Fast, friendly and efficient. Thank you!

Don’t ever come here !! You will be so disappointed. They have bugs and spiders, do not know how to properly do acrylics ATALL ! They don’t even deserve a star . So frustrated !

I love this place. If I need a nice foot massage or a quick mani/pedi, this is the place to go. I usually ask for Ivy who is super nice. The only problem I have with this place is that they’re closed on Sundays and that’s usually the day I’m available. If you’re lucky and they’re not busy, they’ll both work on you– one person will be massaging your feet(at a great rate btw) and the other will be working on your nails. I felt like a queen!

Never have I ever been to a place where they literally messed up your nails(uneven nails) I got acrylics today hoping for a great turn out but i was wrong. Now I know why the place was empty. I tried this new nail place because it’s close to my college. After I was I dissatisfied with my nails the lady calls me back saying she didn’t charge me the correct amount on my card. She asked me to go back and pay! The nerve she has. I’m not a picky person but my nails are mess up and I have to wait 3 weeks for them to grow. Never will I go back again. I am sticking to my original nail place.

The place seems kind of dicey compared to others, but honestly the woman who did my nails was a sweetheart and it was the best mani & pedi I have had in a while. I was very skeptical, but it turned out to be a hidden gem :) very happy with the results and such a GREAT price!

I went there for the first time about a week ago. It wasn’t very busy so I was tended to immediately. There was two women who were very friendly. It’s not too fancy but is clean enough and doable. I would definitely consider revisiting their nail shop. I just realized that they call this place Sweet Paradise now.

For the pricepoint, yes, I’m a fan. Now ladies, before you go here. you need to know that this is NOT the fanciest place, but it’s reasonably priced, clean, and friendly. This place is located right next to the Jack-In-Box. You best look hard because its a small hole in the wall. This is my first time to this nail salon and the two girls inside were very friendly. I’m not your typical girly-girl that is into her nails, and a million designs and all the frilly fufu stuff, but I do like the occasional pedicure and the massage that goes along with it. I’m frugal when it comes to buying things for myself so most of the time when they charge you $ 20 for a pedicure. I think it’s a rip off, unless it’s laced with some lemongrass scented products and 25 minute massage on a real leather chair. This place was about $ 15 for a spa pedicure… in a massage chair. The girl that did my pedicure really took her time. She wasn’t in a rush, even busted out an artist brush to make sure my toe nails were painted just right. I would totally come back for the price. Just don’t expect much when it comes to ambiance and aesthetics… like I said, it’s a hole in the wall.
