Cooper’s accounting service has been outstanding to work with. Mr. Cooper is very friendly and easy to talk to, and he took plenty of time to answer all of our questions. He has handled my personal taxes and a trust filing for my family, and he has been very knowledgeable and helpful with advising us about our options for handling the trust’s assets and advising us of the tax considerations. He is also very knowledgable about tax implications for various business formations. I would definitely recommend Cooper’s Accounting Service, they have been a pleasant surprise after dealing with (and hearing stories about) other accounting firms.

Coop really is as good as it gets. As both a person and as an accountant– there is no one I trust more than this fine gentleman. You can always count on him to deliver wit and dry humor, along with consistently useful information on tax laws and deductions. His staff is very friendly and always provide great customer service. I seen Coopers Accounting Service on Unilocal had the Best reviews so I made an appointment.2012 I had done Turbo Tax and ended up owing IRS $ 9000 ;(. We used Mr. Cooper for our taxes this year, and we were very pleased with the service that we received. First of all, Mr. Cooper sat down with us for a consultation the week before so that we would know what to expect and how he does business. He was very down-​to-​earth and friendly, putting us at ease with our decision to go with him.
The actual tax appointment was very non-​stressful and relaxed. I felt that «Coop» was diligent in working our numbers and finishing up our taxes to e-​file while we were sitting there. We left the office knowing what our outcome would be. That was a huge relief!
I cannot say enough good things about Cooper. Along with making the much-​dreaded income tax process more relaxed, he has a great sense of humor. You can tell that he really enjoys his work, and I think that says a lot.

I left three messages and nobody ever picked up the phone. Don’t they employ a receptionist, especially at tax time? Instead, an automated provided the choice of three people, one being Mr. Cooper himself. Mr. Cooper gets a brownie point for sending me an email via Unilocal asking if anyone had returned my call and if not gave me the number again. Now, since this was the owner, I figured I’d give the benefit of the doubt and call again. Same thing… automated system that tells you to contact owner or 2 others. I left a message on all three… granted I knew nothing about the 2 persons I left the message for, but the point is neither called back. Ever. Thank goodness Unilocal reviewers put me on the right path and we found a tax firm that’s professional and to which we’ve gladly given our business to.

Cooper and his staff are awesome! When we 1^st met Cooper last tax season it took him less than 5 minutes to see an error made by our old accountant and got us a refund of over $ 12,000! We have gone through a lot of accountants, but no one has been as knowledgeable, friendly and dependable. We are now letting them manage our bookkeeping and payroll. We highly recommend Cooper to anyone!

Mr. Cooper has been filing our income tax return for over a decade. There was a time we needed to file extensions and Mr. Cooper took care of the paper work until we were ready to come in. He provided advice on investing the tax refund funds and gave bookkeeping suggestions to make filing easier the following years.

My dad, who was an engineer and a foreman for a large oil company for more than 35 years, developed an interest in tax preparation a few years before he retired. He prepared taxes for family and friends, and by the time he officially retired from his «real» job in 1998, he had a loyal client base of almost 300 happy customers. Cooper’s Accounting has been handling my personal and small business taxes for the past 7 years at the recommendation of a close friend. They helped us setup our corporation and handled all of that paper work and initial tax returns. This is not your dull H&R block fully mechanical type service. You get personal attention, Stephen (aka Coop) actually gets to know you and provides excellent advice. When we bought our first house the IRS had come back regarding a fairly typical situation where they did not see matching numbers because they had no insight into our HUD-​1, and Coop handled that and educated them on what was proper, and he didn’t even charge for it. and the IRS went away :)
As we live out of state now, we work almost entirely remote with Coop and he uses a secure file exchange to communicate with customers and we trust him with our data, which is important to us.

Coop is the best accountant ever. I had been through 4 accountants prior to meeting Coop at CAS. My taxes are not simple. Multiple businesses, 1099s, and W2 so My tax situation is certainly not simple. The team there reviewed our prior tax statement finding errors in almost all of them. Except for the extremely dry sense of humor, the staff is friendly and approachable. I also really appreciate that I can contact them anytime and get advice or ask questions about anything money related. I have referred many of my friends whom all have mirrored my experience.
