We recently celebrated our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding rehearsal dinner here. We had a party of 20 people and we sat out on the patio. Our waitress was Patience(she was awesome). I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the staff was. The food was amazing, I ordered the salmon plate, it was delicious! I would highly recommend Belmont brewery for any occasion.

What a fun stop for a birthday dinner! It was my friends birthday and we ended up stopping here for a late dinner. Our party of 9 was able to be seated right away(it was about 9 o clock) and service was really excellent for our table. They have a great selection of brews, with the highlight definitely being that strawberry ale. The reason I deducted a star was for my dish. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas, and they weren’t great(I’m pretty sure the shrimp were just frozen), but besides that this meal and service was good. Great for a fun night out!

Sad, Sad, Sad. I ordered a Rib Eye and it was overcooked when I asked for medium, the steak was too thin for a rib eye which costed $ 30 bucks. The scalloped potatoes weren’t fooling anyone, I mean they must have been made in the morning and served all day, they were stuck together and the cheese was like leather. They served a huge brick of the potatoes like they were so bad they were giving them out at the back of a truck. Come on people! Care about the food you put out! The Meal also came with vegetables which were pretty good except they were drowned in fresh minced garlic, so all you could taste was FRESHMINCEDGARLIC. The Ambiance of the place is really nice actually with bar seating that lets you view their brew operation, a nice friendly vibe and usually decent food(delicious short rib I’m looking at you) The only reason for the three stars is because the beers are decent, the service is nice and the view in the back with the fire place can’t be beat. I’ve come here before and left impressed when I had things like the Short Rib or the Kobe Beef Burger… which let’s all be real we know Kobe Beef can’t be exported and the damn menu itself says ‘Angus Chuck’ but I guess the term Kobe is as loose as using the word ‘literally’. So I hope you get a good visit if you choose to come here its ‘literally’ like playing Russian Roulette. Well I don’t mean ‘literally’, you get what the hell I’m saying, I’ll shut up now.

My wife and I really enjoy coming here. We usually arrive before sunset, hope for a great table overlooking the beach and enjoy a mug of the LB Crude. Being dark beer lovers this one rates at the top. We’ll order the Baked TuscanTomato Soup or French Onion, some appetizers and enjoy the view up and down the coast. They have patio heaters, fire pit and blankets. Most recently we had the Fish and Chips and were either really hungry or they make killer Fish & Chips. Cool relaxed vibe with great atmosphere.

I just had dinner with my Beau and some friends. I ordered artichoke dip and lobster bisque. They were ok. The disappointing part was the fish and chips. It was all batter and little of the fish. The server immediately called the manager when my friend complained about how greasy and awful the food was. The manager apologized and offered a replacement for free. We didn’t take the offer. So he took the fish N chips out off the bill too. This is the reason why I’m giving a 3 star when it deserves a 1. Will not go back sorry.

Solid classic American brewery with their own beer… and an ocean view? You get the whole shebang with the bar and the sit-down food area. They also got a nice outside seating area for those that want a view of the ocean. They also have a pretty large selection of food items, which were all looking, smelling, and I guess tasting great. Food: — Bison Burger with Aioli: Classic heavy burger with a solid amount of fixins. The medium was a bit tougher than I expected, but it’s not a bad choice since you dont really want too much rare in a burger. The melted cheese and the thick patty does well if you’re craving a solid burger. Every bite is a bit bigger than a mouth could normally handle, but the juices, aioli, and ingredients really pairs perfectly with their IPA. Yes to the aioli! I also chose their fries, and luckily they are thinly sliced so it makes it easier to eat(with the illusion that you’re eating less?). Give this burger a shot if you’re not down for a classic burger. Pros: — Definitely a standard restaurant feel with the interior also giving it a standard flare. — Next to the water. Sorta. Sit outside if you can! — Prices are moderately okay for the location! — Great choice if you want a unique IPA! — Great happy hour choices if you can get there during that timeframe. — They have a stampcard system too if you frequent here. You could get free food — sorta! Cons: — This place gets packed quickly. Your wait could easily be 30 – 40 mins. Sucka. — Since this place is packed, it could take around 20 mins for your food to come out. Take heed if you’re hungry! Well, I’m glad to have explored my neighborhood a little bit more. BBC was a fun option especially if you’re craving a good beer. Try it out!

Belmont Brewing has afforded us many memorable moments with family and friends. The beer is exceptional, and the service and atmosphere are warm and inviting. So when a dear family friend arrived yesterday from Chile, we naturally chose BB for dinner. Unfortunately we arrived just as the kitchen had closed but we were informed that we could order beers and pizza at the bar. Clearly not what we had hoped for but James appeared and made the situation far more palatable in more ways than one. Smilingly he told us to go back to our lovely table on the patio and HE would take care of everything. Talk about a game changer! The pizzas were delicious and James was terrific. If I could add a star to my review it would be for James who took it ALL up a notch! BAM!

We went here after a CSULB graduation for brunch. Their craft brews were excellent but their eggs Benedict left something to be desired. So why the 4 stars, well the beer was excellent, service was fantastic(thanks Mary), and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Don’t get me wrong the eggs Benedict weren’t horrible but they were just average. The English muffin was a bit too chewy. Burgers looked good. Oh and my mother in-law was not impressed with the clam chowder. She said it was more like corn chowder. I would come back for a happy hour if I am around. They location is excellent!

We experienced the«new» kitchen… Usually a favorite and sentimental spot the service was slower than I’ve ever experienced and not due to server. My beans were cold with a hot burger and a charge for the 2nd glass of wine wgulevwaitung. Get it together BBC. We love you but not tonight.

Went to BBC for Mother’s Day lunch. We were seated right away. Which surprised me since it was Mother’s Day. No outside seating, available only for reservations. Note to self for next year. Our server Toyna was sweet and pleasant. Took our drink order and got them back quick. Ordered the Poke wrap, son ordered the BBC Burger and my daughter ordered the Eggs Benedict. The Poke wrap was delicious I only wished they used a better tortilla, plenty of poke and avocado. Delish, getting this again but no tortilla. The burger was a bit over cooked but overall my son liked it. My daughter loved the Eggs Benedict, said it was the best she had ever had. She’s tried lots of Eggs Benedict so I believe her! The food took a little longer than expected but was well worth it! This is the reason for 4 star review. Maybe next time the food will come out quicker. Thank you BBC for a great time. We’ll be returning soon!

Wow, the BBC has gone from a respectable restaurant to barely short of a greasy fast food joint. They’ve downsized their menu to a one sided, one page plastic sheet. They have two items listed as vegetarian. Service was awful right from the door — I made a reservation and requested outdoor seating when I placed it. As the hostess led us to our seats, she informed us that there would be no shade available. I am extremely pale and many of their other seats had canopies or umbrellas, but apparently we had no choice on where to sit. When we saw the embarrassingly short plastic menu, with one page containing all of their Appetizers, Salads, Entrees, Drinks, Vegetarian, Dessert, and Beer options… Well, we asked to leave. Our waitress, who was an older woman, tried to argue us out of leaving by repeatedly tapping her finger on the menu and insisting that they had plenty of options. Go literally anywhere else if you can. I believe there is a Ralph’s two buildings over that has higher quality service and food.

So this is my second time here and figured it’s time for a Unilocal review. Start with the food… Typical bar food. I had a few items during happy hour here. The wings were outstanding. Nice and crisp with the hot sauce just enough bang on the taste buds. The pepperoni pizza, well… It was very bland. Primarily the sauce. Tasted like it was from a ragu can. No spice, just a plain tomato sauce. My wife had the BBQ chicken pizza. She says it was light on the sauce and the chicken was dry. Neither of us would get the pizza again but the wings once again were very good. But I came here for the beer!!! This is the reason I will come back here every time I’m in town. I had the flight of beers total of 82oz testers. All are very good beers. Marathon– the bud light version. Very crisp drinkable beer. Well carbed as well. Pale Ale– a mix between the marathon and an IPA. Another great clean beer. Long Beach Crude– my favorite of the set. Very good Porter. Smooth drink with the hints of chocolate and roasts on the pallet. I bough a 64oz growler of this. Strawberry Blonde– a blonde ale with the smell/taste and tartness of a strawberry. Very well made. Also bough a growler of this. Top Sail– amber ale style. Another great beer. Malty and great finish. Top Sail Dry Hopped– nothing really different but a little bit more of a bite of hops on the pallet. Ale of the month– IPA1570. Apparently from the waitress, it’s the batch #. Clean IPA with some of the classic hops in it or the«C» hops. Black IPA– looks like a Porter, tastes like an IPA. Another excellent beer. If your looking for a brewery walking distance from the beach that serves great beer, go to Belmont Brewing Company.

I give it a C+ Overall I wasn’t very impressed by much. However, the actual restaurant is beautiful. We sat outside and overlooked the beach and ocean and it was surreal. Our waitress did not seem to be handling her workload well. She stated how her wrists hurt and that she had so many tables and it was such a busy day… I’m totally empathetic to the struggle being real, but not the most professional. The food was ok. I really wanted to like it more but it just wasn’t that great. I had the Hawaiian Poke as an appetizer which was alright. The actual fish was fresh but I didn’t care much for the garnish or chips. I’ve chips were like deep fried tortilla which I think took away from the freshness/lightness of the fish. I think it would have been much nicer with slices of salted cucumbers, which you’ll see in a lot of other poke renditions. We also had the lobster bisque, fish and chips, and the kale/quinoa salad; all of which were totally under seasoned. Like seriously, completely bland. In general, it wasn’t bad. It just all lacked any substance. As a cook myself, I think what’s worse than bad food is boring food. I really wanted to love everything because it looked awesome… but sadly it didn’t deliver.

14⁄100 I am a fan of BBC! I’ve only been here twice and I’m a local, but I recently moved a bit closer and it’s a pretty quick trek from my new place. I just adore the patio seating and on chilly days like this one, they have the fireplace roaring and heaters going just in case anyone gets too chilly. You also have the option of sitting inside at the bar or standard restaurant seating area. My boyfriend and I sat near the bar our first visit and today we sat outside. Both of us were craving burgers, and ended up getting the BBC Salmon Burger and the Kobe Burger prepared medium. The salmon burger patty was very flavorful and spicy? Did I detect a hint of spice? The Kobe burger was juicy and crazy delicious. Yassss! Meat juice. Haha! They have thin crispy fries which are my favorite. We guzzled down the Black IPA which they had on tap that day and sat back enjoying the view of Long Beach. Highly recommend, we will be frequent flyers for sure!

I only stopped in for a beer. I really enjoy their strawberry blonde and would recommend it to anyone that likes a lighter style beer. This place is in a great location. Right next to the pier. Maybe grab a beer and then take a walk? The restaurant is kind of small but I think it’s because they have their brewing equipment behind the bar. Crazy! They have a pretty good variety of home brews and also have other local beers on tap. Sitting at the bar, service was fast and friendly. Beers are priced moderate. I’ll definitely be back to try out more stuff. Food smelled good. Check this place out!

What a beautiful location for a restaurant! Right on the water, with a covered patio area and an uncovered patio area. I’ve been here twice now, and it’s been a good experience both times. Once during the day on a random exploration of LB, and then again last night for a little friends reunion. It really is beautiful here at night, so +1 for the ambience outside. Onto the food. I got the grilled avocado and the lobster bisque after reading through Unilocal highlights. The grilled avocado comes topped with tomatoes, onions, and some other veggies. Pretty tasty, but a little small. Still, it’s like $ 7 or $ 8, so it’s not going to break the bank. The lobster bisque good, but I do wish they gave you a slightly larger bowl. Oh, and their bread with honey butter is awesome! Make sure to grab some of that before the main course!

Stopped here for brunch with the family. I’ve been living in Long Beach for about year but never gave this place a chance. Since my family was in town I wanted to have breakfast somewhere nearby with a view. This brewery fulfilled that description. Weekend brunch ends at 2PM which is nice since we needed a late breakfast. I ordered the Killer Breakfast Burrito and it was truly a killer for me. Delicious! Lots of good flavors and the preparation was spot on. Avocado, potatoes, chorizo, bacon, cheese… It was all there. I absolutely recommend getting that if you’re here for brunch. Really happy I gave them a chance. Solid experience with good views and the staff is very friendly. I live in the neighborhood so I’m definitely coming back!

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. It’s small-ish and located right on the beach. There’s an indoor area and an outdoor area. Naturally, the outdoor area is the most popular. It can get crowded here, but it’s worth the wait. The view and breeze sitting outside was wonderful and definitely upped our experience here. The service was fine. The menu offers lots of options and has many seafood options to enjoy. We opted for the mussels and grilled avocado. We also, of course, did a beer sampler. The beers were good. Solid, but not exactly exceptional. The mussels were fabulous. Really good flavor. It was more like a sauce than a broth, which was wonderful. James O. declared them the best mussels he’s ever had. Be sure to save some of your complimentary bread so you have bread to dip in the sauce(no bread comes with the mussels). The grilled avocado was crazy good. I’m not even a big avocado person, but I devoured this. It was one avocado split, grilled, and then loaded with goodness. It’s served with grilled bread that you scoop the avocado on. Again, be sure to save some of your complimentary bread because not enough grilled bread comes with the grilled avocado. I’m literally salivating writing this right now. Get the grilled avocado! All in all, we had a tasty and beautiful oceanside meal here. I would return in heartbeat.

Recomendado.
