I haven’t been to Alberto’s in years. I’m talking over a decade when I was much younger. My memories were that it was a cheap spot to buy some good Mexican food. So, when I happened onto Alberto’s this time, I had that in mind. Boy was I wrong. First off, I did not read the current Unilocal reviews on this place. Had I done my «due diligence,» I probably would not have stopped here. Nevertheless, I fell into memories instead of conscious thought. Second, the prices were exorbitant. $ 15 for a breakfast burrito, taco and drink? I don’t think that there was anything on the menu under $ 5. Third, the food was barely warm when it was served to us. Because we were hungry, we ate it. However, we should have thought seriously about food poisoning before eating(glad to say that we weathered any food borne issues). All in all, you should avoid this Alberto’s. If you want tacos or breakfast food, go to the McDonald’s or Jack-In-The-Box next door. It’s literally that bad that going to a chain spot is better than Alberto’s. Horrible!

Yumm. Been coming here to a while and have never had a bad meal. Their Carne asada burrito is really good. Meat, guacamole and pico de gallo. The breakfast burrito is good as are the asada nachos.

Not my favorite location. Prices are high compared to other Alberto’s. Then again this is Alberta’s. Expect a wait at the drive-thru. One time they didn’t have beans. How do you have a Mexican restaurant run out of beans!!! The beans and rice are what tie a Mexican meal together. Prefer the Alberto’s in Hawaiian Gardens, but unfortunately they closed down some months ago. Cypress is still open and they just opened a new location in Stanton. This one needs improvement both inside and out.

If I could give this place –0 stars I would. We went here on Saturday around noon with my family. We ordered 3 items and came up to $ 30 something dollars. When we got the food and opened it I was shocked. The tacos we ordered looked like they had been sitting there for hours. My husband ordered a chicken burrito that tasted like the meat had spoiled and they put a whole load of lemon to mask the taste and smell. I mean I could not believe what we paid for the food that we had to through away because the food was not eatable. Never ever ever going to this place ever again. And I am going to make sure my friends and family never go there so they don’t have to experience what we did. We would had been better off eating at the jack and the box next door.

Omg! What a joke! I pull up and ordered then proceeded to the window. The guy that was taking the orders at the drive thru window was on his cell phone the entire time I was sitting at the drive thru window waiting it took him about 5 minutes to even come to the window to get my there is a homeless man sitting right outside the building next to the drive thru. so when the guy on the phone finally made it over to the window I asked him 2 add a burrito on my bill for the homeless guy. So he’s still on the phone laughing carrying on and act like it’s a burden for me to add on this burrito for this homeless man that starving. And then tells me how much it would be I gave him a 20 he’s still on the phone laughing talking loud and gives me my change back which he shorted a dollar. I said hey you didn’t give me the right change back you owe me a dollar. He gave me this look like really is he still talking on the phone. So I showed him and instead of giving me a dollar bill he gives me four quarters. I have lots of names I can call him but you guys get it. I used to love this place now it’s a pit bad customer service I waited 15 minutes for 3 rolled tacos and a burrito. Which I asked him to give the man outside the burrito when it was done but no he didn’t hear me because he was too busy talking on the phone. I will never go back there again.

Food is generally cold when they do feel like making it. Went today and was told they were out of rolled tacos. Out of tortillas and meat? Seriously? These people are just lazy.

I had to take off the ends off of my taquitos bc they were so hard and over cooked. I think they threw these back in the deep fryer a second time to make them fresh again. :/

Gross!!! First, its not the real Alberto’s, just some knock off place! I came by today for a breakfast burioto, and it was awful! Full of mostly potatoes(cheap go fill it with), a little egg, and an even smaller anount of bacon! To top it off, they completely burnt it!

2THUMBSDOWN!!! If i could give it 0 stars, i would. But im forced to give this terrible place 1 star. Save yourself the time and money. DONOTGOHERE!!! Their servings are so small its ridiculous. I wouldve thought that their burritos would be a decent size but they barely put any carne asada in their burritos, instead they stuff it with onions and tomatoes to make it look full. I could have drove across the street to the taco bell and purchase a way better burrito than«Albertas.» Dont say I didnt warn ya!!!

I ordered a chicken taquito plate and received a fish taco plate. The fish tacos were gross and had way too much mayo. The beans were pretty good.

This place is not«AlbertO’s» Mexican Food, it is actually called«AlbertA’s» Mexican food. The fact that the name on the building is in cursive makes the«a» and the«o» hard to tell the differences between the two. Which is not fair for«AlbertO’s» lovers like me! The ONLY reason I came here was because I thought this place was Alberto’s. Even Unilocal claims that this place is called Alberto’s, BUTITISNOT. I don’t know who’s fault it is that the name is wrong, but whoever did, shame on thee! This place is CLEARLY not AlbertO’s! I realized this place was not Alberto’s as soon as I ordered their Carne Asada Fries. At Alberta’s, they call it super fries. I bought two Super Fries for more than $ 18.00! That is unbelievably overpriced for what they give you. For the price they charge, the serving is not that much. They put too much beans, and the meat was okay. However, their fries were pretty good! Hot and crispy. Overall, $ 18.00 for two of their super fries is not worth it!

I made the mistake of Unilocaling after i had already paid. Despite all the bad reviews the food was actually pretty good. I had the“caldo de rez” beef soup and my beautiful Lady had«chile relleno» stuffed pepper. The reason for 2 stars was the cleanliness. It is filthy and run down. I recommend using drive thru only. So even though the food was decent i will not return because of the cleanliness issue. If the front of the house was this dirty i could only imagine the kitchen.
