I agree with the first reviewer (Anthony G). Jim Dulude is the best contractor we’ve ever used. He was recommended by a family friend as well. We had hail damage to roof, gutters, windows, deck, garage doors, housepaint and siding in the Sept 2014 hailstorm. We selected Jim for gutter, shingle and roof vent replacement and the addition of ice barrier and new soffit vents. As mentioned previously, Jim’s crew did an extremely professional install and it is obvious they take a lot of pride in their work. They did a beautiful job and the roof looks outstanding.
One thing that wasn’t covered by others is the cleanup. I think that in the last year since the roof was replaced I’ve found maybe 1 nail or piece of scrap. This shows the attention to detail these gentlemen have in their work and I’m very impressed.
Jim personally earned our trust with his patience and knowledge in answering questions as we discussed options of the repair. In addition, a piece of debris got blown into and damaged one of new garage door panels. After inspecting, Jim acknowledged what had happened and had the panel replaced at his expense. He is very much a gentlemen and a professional.
Let me summarize this way. When I have work done by others I always wonder if it was the right choice. Was I overcharged? Was the work done as promised? Will I find little things that weren’t done correctly? Did they cut corners just to get done quicker? With Jim and his team I have absolutely none of those reservations and they will be the only people I will ever call if we have need.

Jim Dulude (4:13 Exteriors) is the best contractor I’ve ever hired. Jim’s bid for my hail-​damaged roof replacement was far superior to every other (highly rated Angie’s List) contractor I contacted. As they all stated, «I can’t match/​come close to that bid.»
Jim wrote his bid to match my insurance claim (after my applied deductible). And his bid included upgraded, GAF/​Timberline Armorshield II, impact resistant shingles; TWO rows of ice shield; synthetic underlayment; not only replacing my previous 3 roof vents on my center roof, but also adding 4 roof vents to my upper roof; in addition to fulfilling every current code requirement. He also replaced my old smaller gutters with new larger, 5-​inch gutters — and each fascia board behind every gutter.
Jim was always responsive to all my communications. He offered to be present when my insurance adjuster inspected my roof to ensure all damage was noted and I receive the best settlement offer possible. He interpreted for me, in understandable detail, my entire insurance settlement offer. And he provided all necessary documentation to my insurance company to ensure a very quick and easy completion of my claim.
The roofing crew (Willy, Jose, Manuel, and Abel) were true craftsmen. I stayed outside observing their work for nearly the entire install. It was more enjoyable than watching HGTV. It was so obvious that they cared about completing every task as perfectly as possible. They used quality products and installed each with as much care and attention to detail as I would have. They even installed my custom made decorative trim boards. And the foreman, Willy, was a consummate professional. His pride in his work and the work of his crew was obvious, intense, and justified. He was going to make sure it was done right. My roof and home are far better protected than before this amazing crew completed their work.
Jim’s gutter installers (Jose and Salvador), were as equally proficient, kind and responsive to all my requests. They angled every gutter, positioned every downspout, and cut to various lengths every downspout and diverter exactly as I requested. And they were happy to do so.
It a wonderful feeling to have a contractor that I can say I trust — without reservation. I am immensely appreciative that this kind of superior effort was provided for my home and my family.
