B&G is mostly frequented by horses and their riders. There are interesting and rugged trails throughout the park through beautiful oak laden mixed forests and heavy brush. Several ponds and a few prominent creeks are in the park as well. There is a shelter to the north off Hammond Road. Another shelter is on the east side of the park. There are also group camping facilities. This is not a huge place, but you can get lost. A very detailed map is available for purchase through the local orienteering club.
