Best Chinese food around, great crab rangoons and Beef and Brocolli, delivery driver is great

This place is down the road from my home and work. Food is consistant, nothing to write home about but it taste good and filling. Not a fan of their fried rice, just doesn’t taste right to me so I sub with white rice when possible. Staff has always been polite and plesant. All said and done, if I feel like Chinese food or don’t feel like cooking it’s one of my go to places that I know I will get my monies worth and it will satisfy my hunger. I’d rather give a 3 ½ star rating but there is no way to do this.

Sercice is always friendly. The food is pretty good. One of the few places around that does salt and pepper shrimp real chinese style. My favorite dish and they got it down. I drive from bedford to get here.

Good, consistent take-​out Chinese. The food is tasty and plentiful. Service is always friendly and fast.
The food is consistently well-​prepared and delicious. Their Roast Pork Lo Mein is the best of any place in the area. They also have excellent Hot and Sour soup, General Gaus chicken, Fried Rice and Szechaun Chicken.
It is really just a takeout place though — the dining room has no décor. Its a few tables and booths along with a bar and TV. For eat-​in, it’s not bad for stopping by to scarf down lunch, but not a place to think of as a dinner destination. (For eating-​in, I’d suggest Super Wok, which has a nice, fairly elegant dining room and where the food is also good.)
I’ve been going here since they opened (early 2000s?) and for take-​out it is far and away the best Chinese food in Londonderry.

Food was okay. I went to a party and Hong Kong Taste was delivered. I found the orange chicken to be extremely tough and over-​fried, but the sauce tasted good. Beef teriyaki kind of dry, but again, taste was good. Not sure I would order here myself… the hunt continues for great take out near Manchester!

We have been going here since they opened and it is a great restaurant. The food is always fresh and the customer service is wonderful.

Now, this two-​star rating is not because the food isn’t very good, it stays true to the definition of a two-​star review on Unilocal.In other words, «Meh. I’ve experienced better.»
I ordered the chicken fried rice and egg rolls, while my co-​workers got a chicken finger meal and a pork and fried rice meal. We were all left with a kind of «meh» feeling afterwards. The portion sizes were good, and the family that owns the restaurant is VERY friendly, but the food is just okay. My egg rolls were almost gray inside and were pretty tasteless. My co-​worker who ordered the pork didn’t really care for her meal either. Were all in agreement, however, that the fried rice was tasty and served in plentiful amounts.
As a side note, it should be said that the restaurant itself is pretty drab, and feels very unauthentically Chinese.
But, based on the serving size and the price, Hong Kong Taste is worth a visit. Just know that there’s certainly better options in Londonderry and nearby Manchester.

Go here all the time to get my Chinese and the girl that works at the desk is really polite and cute! She’s always smiling and super friendly! There food is also really good and not like the buffets… There rice is real! :9)

The food here was pretty disgusting– totally dark drenched with soy sauce fried rice and super much too saucy orange chicken with oil soaked veggies. The good part is that it’s cheap and HUGE servings. No one even touched their egg rolls as the were already stuffed– or got too sick to eat any more– from the rice and meats portion.

Good little family owned Chinese restaurant for take out, delivery, or dine in. Located at the JCT of Route 28 and Route 128. Hong Kong Taste offers Hong Kong, Szechuan, & Cantonese dishes, 15 lunch specials, and 15 combination plates (served all day). The dining area lacks atmosphere with red booth seating and a TV on the bar counter, but the food makes up for it.
On a recent dinner visit, I dined in and was given complementary tea and ice water. The Red Sox game was showing on the TV. I ordered a combination plate #10 ($ 8.05), which had 4 chicken fingers, 4 crab rangoons, 2 chicken teriyaki sticks and roast pork lo mein with duck sauce & hot mustard for dipping. The good portion of food came out 10 minutes later. The chicken fingers and crab rangoons were very hot and crispy. The chicken teriyaki was chargrilled and stringy, but good. The roast pork lo mein was tasty with pork strips, water chestnuts, snow peas, sprouts, onions, and carrots in noodles. I finished off my meal, given a fortune cookie, settled the check and the Red Sox won!
