I wasted more than 30 minutes trying to get the Wi-Fi to work properly. I was connected, and I had consented to the McDonald’s rules, but the Wi-Fi is so slow that you don’t think you’re connected to anything. Why even have Wi-Fi if it doesn’t work at all??? By the way, the seating area was very dirty. I was sticking to the table and chair.

Very average fast food. The fries are good and the hamburgers are so-so. I like the McCafé option but I really dislike eating inside because the television is always on a loop. Kids screaming from the playground. The employees are either okay or rude, but it’s sketchy because they act clueless when promotions come about. Needs work on employee education for sure. Overall, the food is okay, service is below okay and the environment tries to be pleasant instead I lose my appetite. Definitely your average hood restaurant.

The first thing I noticed upon entering was the noise: the din of kitchen equipment such as shake machines, etc was literally deafening, and continual. Adding to this was the cacophony of screaming, shrieking children running everywhere, and the icing on this vile cake was the blaring of several televisions set to an endless commercial and cartoon loop. I looked around and decided, no… I’m not doing this… I’d rather eat my dog’s kibble, but I had to use the toilet so I thought what the heck, how bad could it be? Mistake! The toilets are down a long hallway in the back of the restaurant and around behind the kitchen. I can’t testify to the men’s room, but the ladie’s room was so bad that I decided to wait and use s gas station nearby instead. There were two stalls, one out of order, and the remaining one had a broken lock. Toilet paper littered the floor, accompanied by assorted other paper products I’d rather not mention. The sink counter was covered in water and paper towels, there was no soap, and the garbage can was overflowing onto the floor, which was also wet with several puddles of what I hoped was water. there was a used diaper thrown on the floor against the wall and the floor was sticky in places. I crossed my legs and left the room, trying not to touch anything on the way out. This bathroom rivaled the filthiest toilets I’ve encountered in gas stations on desert back roads. It was truly indescribable, and the stench was suffocating. Adding to this experience was a woman with several small kids, changing her baby on the sink. Fabulous! Walked out and encountered more noise, almost tripped over a number of small kids running around unchecked, screeching and yelling, and saw someone with a toddler sitting ON the counter where food is placed. Yes, when you walk up to the register and order your food and pay for it, they hand it to you on the counter where a kid with crappy diapers was sitting, and NOBODY thought that ANY of this was unusual or even remotely unacceptable. Clearly, this McDonalds is a playground of some sort, not a restaurant. the filth, the noise, and the unchecked kids EVERYWHERE was absolutely epic. I will never go back and I will make darn sure that nobody I know goes there either. Found a gas station down the street, with an immaculate toilet and quiet facilities. MUCH better!

When I first moved here less than a year ago I ate here and it was awesome. Unfortunately the service and the food has gone downhill since. Tonight was the kicker, really slow, so figured they couldn’t mess up my order. WRONG! Ordered and payed for a double BACON cheeseburger with no onions or pickles. Well I guess that was too hard for them since they didn’t put bacon either! So I paid for a bacon double and got a regular cheese burger. So they made a pretty little profit off me since it was drive through! I am home now so wasn’t worth driving back. IF they do this a lot, they are clever little terds! Plus the fries tasted burnt, like the oil was old. What a disappointment.

I’ve never had trouble going through the drive thru or going inside. Its as clean as a McDonald’s normally is. I thought the staff was friendly considering. I have not suffered an incomplete order after the drive thru. The food was put together well, and the fries were hot. Overall, I don’t have a problem with the place.

So much for«free» WiFi that the newly renovated McD’s on H St. advertised. When I learned they now offered the service, I started going there, have invited friends to meet me there and have lunch, etc. On 9/29, I was there around 10am, set up my computer, but the connection was so slow it took a while to start. Then, I had to reboot it twice because it got stuck! Soon, it was noon, and I ordered a lunch of angus snack wrap and smoothie(200+cal). At 12:30, the mngr. told me to leave. He said I was«loitering!» I’m a former Children’s Librarian. I know what loitering is! When I asked for a written policy, he pointed to a sign on the wall that said, «No Loitering Allowed» if not ordering food in 30 min. He said I stayed too long and not ordered anything! I was shocked. He said the owner told him to boot me out if by 30 min I hadn’t ordered. When I said I just had lunch, he said I need to order in 40 min. Can u believe it? They’re now timing u and regulating how often u eat, ESP. If you’re using WiFi! I’m a petite, Asian woman– they want me to be fat and keep stuffing my mouth every 30 min? No wonder we have an obesity prob. in the US. Mrs. Obama should hear about this new policy of theirs! So, listen up, every WiFi user — your local McD isn’t user– friendly, after all!

What is it about forks and fast food places in Lompoc? Two days ago I didn’t get a fork at Burrito Loco. Today I ordered a salad at this McDonald’s and no fork. Do people here carry Swiss Army knives with built-in forks? Or do they go Moroccan style and eat with their fingers?
