I remember this place when it was called Winchels I think that’s how it’s spelled. But I brought my kids and they loved it. You guys have to come in and eat a donut

Based on the maple bacon donut because we walked in and BOOM! Had to have it! Lots of other choices but thats all we wanted. It was fresh(10am on a Sunday) and soooo good! We took ours to go and enjoyed every bite!

They no longer have cream puffs, custard fillings & baked breakfast sandwiches. :( Although they have bacon & sausage filled croissants, it’s no sandwich. Other than that, their donuts are delicious except for the fact that it was cold so I had to ask them to warm it up for me.

Always fresh donuts. The staff is friendly. Nice little sitting area. They also have croissants that are delicious! The only down side is they only take cash, so come prepared.

Always friendly! Cash only :( Simple little shop! Donuts are always yummy fresh!!! Their baked breakfast sandwiches are also yummy. Not to clean out side in the sitting room. Because they get a lot of foot traffic. But it’s a simple good place!

Best doughnuts that I have tried in the area, and I’d have to disagree with the other reviewer – much, much better than Anna’s in Goleta(which is the best in Goleta). I think other people are put off by the cash-only policy(which makes sense because the prices are so low) and by the shabbiness of the exterior. But all I care about are the doughnuts, and they are really good. Always fresh and not too sweet like a lot of local doughnuts. I had a double chocolate on a Wednesday a few weeks ago that was better than any double chocolate I have ever had. I do wish that they had powdered-sugar only(no glaze) jelly or lemon filled, but that doesn’t seem to be the style in this area.

Pros: Friendly and explained all the doughnuts to us Everything tasted very fresh(their custard filling is divine and the cream puffs are to die for) Decent prices Cons: Cash only(Really?! It’s 2012) Pretty run down on inside and out, feels kind of dirty inside and would prob just get it to go next time

On the outside the sign and building looks outdated, but the donuts are very good and fresh tasting.

Very good, fresh tasting donuts. Looks really clean and nice. On the outside the sign looks outdated but inside it was clean and smelled like fresh baked donuts.

My wife and I have a tradition of going to our local bakery to indulge in a Sunday morning fat pill. Just having moved to Lompoc, we decided to give Lompoc Doughnuts a go. It’s OK. It’s a doughnut shop. I still looking for something comparable to Anna’s Bakery in Goleta.
