I have been very happy with the level of skill my daughter has learned in a relatively short amount of time. I wasnt sure of the young coaches at first, but Mr Gene has trained them well and he is very involved in the workouts as well.

After moving to Lompoc from the East Coast, we enrolled our children in classes at Gymnastics North. We loved our gym back«home» but have been extremely happy with the coaches at Gymnastics North. Our youngest child participates in the Kindergym class and loves it! Our oldest child, started out in the Developmental Level 1 class and is now in the Developmental Level 2 class. I’m amazed at the skills both of our kids have learned in the 11 months they’ve been going to Gymnastics North.

They do an amazing job with my 4 yr old daughter but my son who is autistic was definitely more than they can handle. I warned them that he was primarily visual only with minimal receptive language skills. They swore they could handle it but were wrong. I will now be switching where we go for gymnastics. The instructor grabs the arms of the children and yanks them too often and she openly talks about children in front of them and their parents.

I enrolled my son in the Tumble Tots class when he was one. This was such a good experience for both of us! The instructors are super friendly, and James(my son) learned a lot about coordination. Of course, it was all just a big game to him, but isn’t that how it’s supposed to be at his age? They had an «obstacle course» set up at the beginning of each session for the kids to do(balancing beams, climbing, crawling, rolling, sliding, etc.), and then different stations with different activities. It was just the right amount of structure so that I didn’t get bored trying to decide what to do, and freedom to change it up a bit. I think his favorite thing there was the trampoline and my favorite(his least) was the bouncy seat — basically you attach your toddler to these bungee cords suspended from the ceiling, and they get to do some super jumps! I know I said it was his least favorite, but the other kids seemed to enjoy it. And of course, bubbles and a parachute! Come on, the parachute is a classic!
