Five stars for the friendly and sweet staff but the pizza is not good. Good thing I only ordered a small. I only had two bites and my toddler son only ate a few of the sausages.

I ordered a calzone, wings, and it came with cheese bread… the cheese bread was near ice cold, the marinara was ice cold, and the calzone was barely warm… had to heat everything up in the microwave… very disappointed bc I ordered last year or 2 and they were pretty good… won’t ever order from here again unfortunately… the wings were hot and OK though

I used to really like the pizza here until today. I ordered pizza tonight for my family and in my 3rd bite of my first slice I found a hair in my pizza. I literally pulled it out of the crust. I was willing to let it go and toss that slice because it happens… then I found 2 more gray hairs in my second slice(I have red hair) and literally pulled one out of my mouth. I am beyond disgusted… just threw away a 20 in pizza and had to scramble for dinner options for my family of 4. We will not be ordering from Giant manhattan again.

We’ve had it delivered the first 2 times we tried it out and it was so good! This has become a new favorite…

This little place is hide and a little misleading(when you first show up). It was hot inside and I could probably complain about a few things except the food. The pizza was amazing. Actually, everything we had a was good. This is a great place to tryout if you’re in the mood for pizza and want to try something different!

As an update, I think the crust has gotten a tiny bit thicker and lost some of its New York credentials. It’s still the best pizza for miles around here. I still consider it a 4(3 ½ then a bump up vs a bump down for not being in a major city)

People visiting us with kids love it when you get the xl pizza cut lengthwise. The slices go from your hand up to your elbow and the pizza is good!

Great pizza and sandwiches/subs, and on top of that they deliver to base :). I would say the only downfall is they have more cheese than sauce on the pizza. I would prefer just a little more sauce. Other than that, great tasting pizza and amazing crust!

It’s back! We have really missed Sam’s old Giant Manhattan Pizza, but it has been renewed with the new owner, Ace– who knows his way around a pizza! GMP is becoming an «ace of a place» in his capable hands. With some tables and booths, but lacking an eat-in atmosphere, it’s still perfect for take-out, delivery, or a mid– afternoon sit down lunch. Just ordered a slice of pizza which I ate here, and it was delicious. Same wonderful menu with delivery. Give it a try! I know I’ll be coming back again.

Piping hot pizza and friendly staff. This is a mom and pop operation, so it’s always good to shop small. Good food shouldn’t be rushed, and that’s why it took 30mins from order to boxing. The specials on the wall all come with three toppings. The 14in pizza can easily feed two with leftovers. Not true New York style pizza. The pizza is not thin, but chewy. Not the kind you’d fold over. In fact, slices were so thick that I ate it with a fork and knife when I got home. We ordered a 16in the sausage, mushroom, and onion. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. Two complaints. First: the crust was not all the way baked through. The inside was still doughy, however for the crust that did bake through it was crisp and buttery. Second: Probably the most egregious error… canned mushrooms… not forgivable. My recommendation, eat your pizza there so that things can be corrected. We appreciated that even though our 16 in pizza turned out to be a 14in pizza, and they apologized and refunded the difference. I will go back for a second try.

This isn’t just pizza, it’s an experience. They say that it’s the quality of the ingredients and I’m not going to argue. They have giant pizzas but those tend to lose quality. The small/medium/large ones are best and boy, are they good…

Best pizza in Lompoc. Very friendly pizza people, huge single slices, monstrous«giant» pizza. The crust is thin, flavorful, and crunchy. Cheesy, not too saucy… reminds me of Brooklyn(or Manhattan). The dining room needs an update, but take-out is awesome. They also deliver promptly.

Is it possible to give negative stars? This place used to be good back when Sam, the original owner, owned it. The pizza, while not a true New York pie, was probably the best around. Yesterday when I found myself in the area, I dropped in for a slice. There were few people in the place, and I asked for my slice to go. The guy began to put it into a bag and I asked him, «is it hot?» «Yes, it just came out of the oven,» he replied. I get out to my car and remove the slice from the bag. What a disappointment this slice was. The temperature was lukewarm, to be charitable, but that’s correctable. This slice had far worse problems than just being too cool. It wasn’t cooked through, and the bottom of the crust was an unappetizing light color. Plus, the doughy consistency caused the slice to flop all over the place, and resist efforts to keep it properly folded. What a mess. I hear the original owner has opened a Giant Manhattan Pizza in Arroyo Grande. Lucky them. Poor us. Not recommended.
