Nicole and Staff do an excellent job of pampering your hair whether you’re there for a cut, highlights, root touch up or the whole color, cut and style process. Professional and very polite this salon offers the highest quality service for reasonable prices. A color, cut, blow dry and style’s $ 135, roots touchup with blow dry and style for me was $ 60. Call ahead at minimum 2 days advance for a good window of time for your appt’s best results, but they do accept walk ins if they’re not too busy.

Love this hair salon. I see Nicole the owner. She is friendly, nice and professional. She is so fast and does an amazing job with my haircut, color and styling of my hair. Unlike other hair salons they listen to what you want to do. I dont like curling iron and always just ask for round brush. Nicole does a great job with my blow dry. Also there is another nice lady in this salon, dont exactly remember her name, I think her name might be Ann but not sure, she is also awesome. She is the one that gives the best shampoo and scalp massage EVER. I love it every time. I wish they would be open on Sundays but they are closed. I would never want to go to another hair salon. Love these guys!

I used to come here for my hair cut during my college years. I went back yesterday to get a trim and it’s as good as it gets. The price you pay is great for the cut and a free scalp and neck massage. I always ask for Ann. She not only does a great job and is honest and friendly. I absolutely adore her! I would definitely recommend this hair salon to anyone who’s looking for one in the South Bay.

I’ve been going to Nicole and her staff for over 8 years now. Cut with color is only $ 85 includes wash and neck massage! My 4 kids all get their haircuts here. $ 20 for a boys’ haircut is a little bit pricey but well worth it. They are amazing! Great with kids, a great bargain and very friendly! I’ve recommended this place to over 15 of my friends who all go to her now.

I LOVE NICOLE! I’ve been getting my hair cut here for over 10 years and she always knows what I like. They always start off with a good, thorough washing (WHICH FEELS AMAZING. Like a wonderful, relaxing head massage) before cutting your hair. Then they blow it out a bit, Nicole makes final adjustments, and then her team finishes with styling. It’s quick, painless, and they get it done right! Even after my family and I moved to the O.C., we continued to go to Hair Story because you just can’t beat Nicole’s expertise and Hair Story’s prices.

I was looking up various hair shops to get a trim for my damaged hair on Unilocal,and I decided on this one because it was closest to where I live. Turns out that the Unilocalers were (mostly) right! I called and made a reservation the night before (Friday night), and they were open the next day and gave me a slot. I went over 15 minutes earlier where a lady with a bob washed my hair. BEST. SHAMPOO. OF. MY. LIFE. she massaged my hair and was SUPER thorough! I have gone to many different shops, and I’d definitely said she did the best! I didn’t get her name, but she was sooo nice.
I originally asked for Nicole, but because I wanted just a trim and bangs, they let Shee cut my hair. I’m giving them four stars because they charged me $ 35 instead of $ 30 (they didn’t notify me when I first asked the price) and gave me a different hair stylist (also without telling me). Shee was great and told me how to keep this hair style neat.
Overall, i’d definitely recommend that you visit them.
I wouldn’t spend the time to review a place unless they’re worth it, and this place is def worth it!

I was recommended by a friend to come to this place, and I was very happy with the service I received. I got my hair cut and highlighted. They were professional and reasonable! Good Quality products used and everyone loved my new hair cut!

Worth the few extra bucks to come Here versus supercuts or fantastic sams. My haircut included shampoo and blowdrying and, Nicole, the owner did a great job cutting my hair.

I am a Korean girl and have gone to many stylists that have never had a clue how to cut my hair. These ladies finally gave me the haircut that I actually wanted!

I do not know why, but i tried this place 3 times hoping it would improve by trying out different hairdressers. All I care about is a decent haircut, not the shampooing or the blowdrying of hair. But to my dismay, each hair dresser is as bad as the other. I do not recommend this place !

haircuts are $ 20 here– which is reasonable– ask for the owner. This is korean owned and they wash your hair with shampoo before and after your cut so you feel clean. They style your hair– and blow dry so its full service– the only thing is they were drinking coffee and did not offer me any. The place looks a little dated and can be cleaned up a bit– 8 years old. The ceilings look pretty stained from rain. But overall a pretty reasonable value.
