Please do not use the Unilocal eat24 application to order delivery. The menu listed on that site does NOT carry the food on their actual menu. I can’t really rate this location because of their food. Since my order had to be cancelled. I suggest people order in. It’s upsetting because the menu listed on the app was very diverse. And had to go through the restaurant calling me to tell me they didn’t have any of those things on my eat24 order. Then had to contact company who doesn’t show a direct number to call them. Then having to figure out still shady to have for dinner. Being hungry and upset, and now no choice but to cook. Ugh!

From out of town, and this place was right down from my hotel. friendly staff, delicious deep dish pizza, really low price. I am extremely satisfied, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good tasting pizza.

I really wanted to like this place as they are under new ownership but I have to say I’ll be ordering elsewhere next time. Cheese seemed cheap and sauce wasn’t anything special. The pizza was made quickly and their new menu appears better than before(99cent slices on Mondays does sound nice) but unfortunately there are just better pies out there.

Under new ownership. Tried the pizza and it pretty amazing! It’s got that great Chicago style taste! I ordered a pizza for me and my family and it was really good! I am definitely ordering from here again. Give it a go!

Don’t do it. Gross. We’re from Maryland. Just ordered delivery. Piping hot but bland pizza sauce and toppings. The wings were hot and tasty but get the sauce on the side. They pored it on. Saucy wings but dry pizza. Wth. Again don’t do it… you’ve been warned. Oh the can pepsi was spot on. Cold!

It’s under new ownership and you can tell in a positive way! The pizza here is good, I think it has a nice crust and good sauce a really well balanced pizza. I have also tried the loaded fries and that’s awesome too, bacon, cheese, sour cream — what’s not to like? I also think the prices are fair considering the quality. Check em out!

Okay, so the pizza is actually pretty good. What’s not good is the service. I walked in on a weekday after 2pm(their posted hours say they open at 2) to grab a slice of cheese pizza for lunch. They guy behind the counter said I couldn’t have one«because we just opened.» OKAY, WHAT? If you’re OPEN, that means you’re ready to serve customers. If you’re not ready to serve customers, then YOU’RENOTOPEN. The guy told me to come back«after 3.» DUDE. I’M HUNGRYRIGHTNOW. I don’t have an MBA or anything but I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that any restaurant, regardless of the quality of fare, is not going to last long if they are turning customers away.

Under new ownership. Pizzas are much more affordable than before. A good no-nonsense pizza and the other food items(chicken sandwich, pasta, fries) were also great. We’re happy to have a other good neighborhood pizza place around.

Eh. Decided to give it a try as I pass it every day on my way home from work. Not impressed… very bland, no flavor and almost rubbery like with the way the cheese melted. Looks like I’ll be continuing to drive by…

The owner helped us check out and was very friendly! The cook gave us free samples and we were able to use a coupon. Great menu variety, quick service and the pizza was better than the old Michaels. For sure coming back!

Under new ownership. The pizza is delicious! Very quick service, too. I did pick up, after finding a certificate, so I cannot comment on delivery. Try em out! Good food and nice people!

Just ordered two large pizzas one was half ricotta. Recieved a call 20 minutes after order was placed to inform me they had no ricotta. So i substituted for bacon. Pizzas came over an hour later and it was terrible. There was way too much sauce which tastes like a jar of spaghetti sauce from aldi. I am not a picky eater by any means but for the price and quality of service it was very dissapointing. I feel ripped off and woud not reccomend to anybody. Save your money. Little ceasars has 5 dollar pizzas.

Stopped in for a slice of pizza and a Pepsi. You’re better of going to Domino’s or Little Ceasars, believe it or not, they are better. And by the way, that one star above, is for the can of Pepsi. I like Coke.

I love a place with variety and this place has it, I have been here multiple times now and I dont think its weird because I am running into other customers that I have ran into at michaels before. After seeing such a bad review on the hotdogs I felt I had to give it a shot and I have to say the dog taste almost exactly the same as a Gene and Judes dog the bun was alright and it had a perfect consistency of mustard and relish. I did go back and say that mine did not come with a pickle and the cook let me know that they dont serve pickles on there dogs(just like gene and judes so thanks for making me look like an idiot with your review Dan.) Now the hot dog with fresh cut fries was great but I still keep going back for either the ribs or I have a special pizza that most of the guys there know me for because I am a meat lover. The toppings I get on mine are: Pepperoni, Sausage, canadian bacon, bacon, mushroom, onion, and green pepper; sometimes i will also get italian beef on it. The pizza is pricey but it is something that will keep me smiling for days. You rock michaels and dont let other people that cant even accurately describe what they ordered put you down!

With a distinctive yellow sign noticeable from Roosevelt Road Michael’s Pizzeria in Lombard has been here a long time. A similarly signed place called Michael’s Pizzeria at one point existed just off of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, I suspect these two establishments are related. One day while driving down Roosevelt I noticed a sign in front of Michael’s advertising Vienna Beef Hot Dogs. Being the hot dog critic, this needless to say stopped me in my tracks and I was soon pulling into to Michael’s Pizzeria to give the hot dogs here a try. Before I go over the hot dog, I also did try a slice of Michael’s Pizza. This was a very thick crust pizza that had the consistency of drywall. Despite being in a heated rotator the pizza clearly wasn’t that fresh and wasn’t very hot. The crust was rock hard, the sauce was bland and the cheese was no longer a soft mozzarella but had instead developed a dry paste like texture. The hot dog here didn’t fair too much better. The hot dog came on a very dry non-poppy seed bun. An excessively amount of mustard was applied to the hot dog, so while the bun showed signs of dryness it wasn’t actually hard due to all the mustard soaking through. The relish was also applied a little too liberally. There was some nice chopped onion and a fairly thin pickle slice on this dog as well. The dog used here was a skinless Vienna Beef hot dog and it was warm and appeared to be steamed. The dry bun and excessive condiment application on this hot dog really brought down the score. Overall both the pizza and hot dog here were fairly lousy. I can’t see myself returning to Michael’s Pizzeria any time in the near future and would recommend you avoid it as well. I’m giving them one star.

This small little place is right along Roosevelt Road, and if I happen to be passing by during lunch time it is a pretty good deal for lunch. They have pizza by the slice that is pretty good for $ 3. The slices are pretty big and if they are out of something you like, the owner(I am guessing) has no problem adding the missing toppings and putting it in the oven for a few minutes for you. It isn’t the best pizza that I have ever had, but it is cheap, it hits the spot and conveniently located if you work in the Lombard area.

A tiny little no-frills takeout/delivery pizza joint. There are a handful of seats crammed in if you must eat your slice immediately, but otherwise it’s to-go only. We went for a large cheese thin crust and an order of mozzarella sticks. I went to pick it up and they were a minute or so away from bringing the pizza out of the huge, old, funky-looking oven that had this cool elevator system to rotate pies. I was momentarily fascinated. Then, with six quick swipes, my pizza was cut into squares and I was on my way. The mozzarella sticks were your standard issue sticks, tasty but nothing exciting. The chunky marinara served with it was pretty tasty. The pizza was suitably delicious. The crust is a little on the doughier side — not quite cracker-thin, not really crunchy, just«thin». A pleasant, bready flavor. Good sauce, good amount of cheese, no major problems with it all coming off at once. I would certainly order from here again, but I was neither blown away nor disappointed — it was right down the middle. Solid pizza, average prices, nothing to complain about — or rave about.
