I recently had dinner at Amelio’s. I was advised that steak is their specialty along with their burgers. I ordered steak with a side of green beans (recommended by the waitress) and a side salad. Salad was good but the dressing was very thick for a vinaigrette. The beans were soggy but had pieces of onion which helped. The steak… Not a good chunk of meat, there were veins through it and wasn’t cooked correctly. I was disappointed in the price of the meal vs the quality of the steak. The atmosphere of the place was great, being in a historic location along with décor.
