Rumbi is a great restaurant in Logan. Rice bowls are the classic dish but the Kahuna burger is also a win. Lots of coupons are typically available if you are willing to look.

We had an awesome dinner tonight at Rumbi. This was our first time at any Rumbi and we thought the quality of the food was superb for a quick service restaurant. My husband had the Rumbi Burger and Fries and it was delicious… super great flavor. My son had the teriyaki chicken bowl with noodles and he loved it, and my toddler finished off all the chicken in his orange chicken bowl. I had the Caribbean shrimp and chicken entrée with a Caesar salad and Rumbi rice and it was delicious!!! We also got a cup of the tortilla soup to try… but we all felt it was lacking a lot of flavor. It did not get eaten. Other than that we will be back again… I want to try the fish tacos. Service was good and I thought the food came out quickly for being prepared fresh.

Not a huge fan of their salads, but I like their burgers and other sandwiches. My favorite is the luau pulled pork sandwich.

The address is wrong on this Unilocal.Rumbi is located farther south by the Walmart. But our tastebuds and keen sense of smell lead us right to this Hawaiian-style hotspot. We met our cute college girls here for a family dinner. We knew we needed some big eaters, as the plates are quite large and the serving sizes aren’t for the weak bellied ;) We shared 2 orders of Hawaiian teriyaki chicken bowl and a cabo fish taco. We also needed 2 orders of rumbi fries(a delicious mix of sweet taters and originals). Be sure to get the side of special pink sauce for dipping. Our food arrived and was excellent. Service was great but it was SO cold in the dining room! We had to hurry our meal and our conversation. Brrrr. The meal was served with rumbi rice which is a mixture of coconut rice and black beans. The chicken was tasty and veggies were fresh and cook to perfection. Be sure to use the extra teriyaki sauce for added flavor and moistness. The winner of the night, was the fish tacos! The fish was cooked to perfection and wrapped in corn shells topped with special sauce and covered in chunky tomato salsa. I will be returning for more tacos here! Nailed it !! Hints and tips– Bring a jacket, scarf and boots! Dress warm and in layers so you can be comfy :) Bring friends to share your meal. Large portions or get it ToGo for lunch tomorrow!

Whenever my sweet mother comes to visit me, we bond over a lunch date. Because of this, certain food has always held special places in my heart – and Rumbi’s is no exception! We walked in and ordered the chicken rice bowl, they were cooking some up fresh so we had to wait about 10 minutes. However, it was so very worth it! Get it with the«Rumbi Rice» and brace yourself for an explosion of taste. My mother got the Fish Tacos, and let me say that they were incredible as well. I honestly don’t know if it’s the fact that I’m a poor, starving, college student and everything always tastes great – or it was quality food. But either way, I’m telling you to try both. The atmosphere is fun. They had a television in the corner that was playing Frozen, so I channeled my inner Elsa whilst inhaling chicken and rice. That movie was very appropriate as well, seeing as it was like the freakin’ arctic in there. If you read my reviews you should know by now that I am constantly freezing and almost every restaurant I go to is icy cold. So BRING A COAT – I honestly felt like Arendelle had«Frozen» over and Rumbi’s had been brought along for the ride. There is also real silverware for you to eat with – they always have some«hard water spots» on them, but that just means they really do wash them, right? TIPS&TRICKS: * I attached some photos, so check out the daily specials(the Rumbi fries are half off if you go between 2 and 6 everyday)! * I would really recommend the sweet potato fries too, mmmmm.

In regards to the one review, you cant get diabetes from eating sweet foods. It is genetic and there is no such thing as sugar diabetes. You just have to watch what you eat when you are diabetic. As for the steamed veggies, steaming means that veggies are partially cooked and they are supposed to be a little crunchy.

Great fast food semi healthy… Really crap and slooooow service. Don’t go there if your in rush for take out or quick lunch! When they are not busy your order will take even longer!

Tried this place on a recommendation from friends, eating at a different Rumbi. This new location didn’t disappoint. We LOVED the food. It was so good, I wanted to go back the next day!

In California we are being taken over by «Hawaiian BBQ» joints that are basically low cost/quality Chinese food places with a couple of specialty items. Rumbi is a cheap«tiki» style fast food chain that combines your ability to get a burger or a stir fry. As a vegetarian, I only really had one option there, which was a bowl of rice with steamed vegetables. The veggies were barely steamed, so they were dry and not very good, and the rice was boring. I asked for no sauce because all of their sauces are corn syrup based, and I didnt want to get diabetes from a vegetable dish. This disappointing venture cost me about $ 12 including an unsweetened iced tea, which was the only non corn syrup drink available. Still probably better than anything you can get next door at Subway, but very disappointing and outrageous.
